If we have to spend $600,000 to ensure that these people cannot arrogate to themselves powers we won't even allow our government, then that's probably a price worth paying. What we cannot afford to do is become inured to how outrageous it is. Every time it happens, we have to remind ourselves that all this security is the price we’re paying to protect ourselves from thieves who want to steal our constitutionally guaranteed freedoms. And that it is possible to once again live in a world where this is not normal.

It seems to be impossible, in fact, to write a column on antifa without noting, at length, that they are not nearly as bad as the neo-Nazis who converged on Charlottesville. And indeed, they are not.
This is flat out wrong. The neo nazis haven't be violent since the sixties, at least. Antifa-black block has been continuously violent since at least the '80's. Certainly since the Battle for Seattle (1999). Possibly since the sixties and the weather underground. Probably the same people; people like Bill Ayers.

Just avoided an accident with a deer which I swerved to avoid on the road. It was only that there was nobody in the left lane that I didn't either have an accident with another car or hit the very large buck. More deer this year than I have ever seen before.

Water is a right, and anyone who is ambitious can make a rain barrel, as well as go to the local creek or body of water and harvest some. For free. If it is legal in your city.
However, chemically treated water that is part of a municipal water/ sewage system is totally different. Modern sewage is not a universal human right, and consequently, something that one must pay for.
Also, humans do not need "modern sewage" to live. Just "water," which, in many cases, can be harvested locally.

I find the stories of Trump berating Sessions over this believable. Sessions has a while - growing shorter - to show he actually is fit for the job. That will require an absolute s**t-ton of stuff to start happening/become public, on many fronts: effectively suppressing the immigration lawlessness insurrection by states and cities, pursuing civil rights actions as discussed above in response to the de facto suspension of the constitution in authoritarian-racist jurisdictions, etc.
But Rosenstein remains. Like virtually all of the golden boys in recent years, "widely" respected blah blah blah, he appears to be completely unfit. That one decision removes any case for his appointment or continued employment.

Here in N. Indiana, deer eat from corn and bean fields interconnected with deciduous hardwoods, oak and cherry, walnut, ash and maple. They eat plenty acorns. In my opinion, 'gamey' meat is a trophy someone shot. A big buck that rutted his ass away (actually: they lose 20% of their weight during the rut). This meat is full of horny-deer juice. yuck. just make sausage and jerkey already. Eat the backstrap and loins if you want to.
A tender yearling doe. Now we are talking fork-tender. Succulent. Hang it in a cool place for ten days. This is game at its' best.

Actually, there's a surprising number of states where collecting rain water off of your own roof is illegal. Utah, Colorado and Washington, among others. Although Colorado made some changes for residential use a few years back.

An incredible horrible scene of a Viet Cong soldier describing how our soldiers were weeping about their killed companions.
One of the main music composers of the film is Chinese.
A good portion of this preview is about the music yet they have no time to show the South Vietnamese or the valor of our troops.

As far as I can remember, from reading all the Fleming Bond books, there is only one drink recipe in there, in Casino Royale, and it's for the drink later called a "Vesper," which is only sort of a martini:

I had one once, and it was pretty awesome, but I would not call it a martini. The Kina Lillet, which is, roughly, a quinine liqueur, changes the character considerably.
