Tangentially, it won't be long before a political operative, a hardcore political operative that is, playing a relatively short long-game will establish himself as a bona-fide active member of the political party he opposes. There will be years of tweets, years of blog comments, news comment section comments, facebook posts and whatever. All created to make sure that when he does something awful, that party he wishes to destroy will be blamed, And it will take far longer than 72 hours to uncover the truth. It will be buried and way too late.
Wouldn't be surprised if there are some planting those seeds right now.
Radical Islamic jihadis flew planes into buildings. What would it take to spark major race riots in this country? Not much, relatively speaking. And not much commitment.
It would be easy. Scary easy. And if I've contingency thought it and prepared my mind for it, I'm sure someone has considered it as a plan of action.

I really need your prayer warrior help.
This isn't about Joyce (Baruch HaShem), but a co-worker's daughter, Rachel.
This is a 23 year old that I've known since she was an adorable little girl, and is now hooked on heroin and meth.
T came to me today asking for prayers for her daughter. We spent the next hour and a half talking it through, and I am so grateful to be able to help in other ways, too.
But: I told her about The Horde, and how I *know* that your prayers have helped to lift up Joyce, and asked if it would be okay if I asked for your help. She immediately said "yes!"
So: please pray that Rachel find some inner peace, and the strength to beat this terrible addiction.

I have a hard time even putting into words the exact level of crazy some of the odder splinter groups of the left are reaching.
He first talks about a group dedicated to the welfare of wild animals. I don't mean environmentalists. I mean they want to extend welfare to wild animals.
As he notes, these are not the weirdest group he ran into at the meetup he attended. In fact, the guys who want to give handouts to random squirrels look positively sane compared to the people who want to blow up the universe (Dave Barry Caption: I Am Not Making This Up). I mean, little old ladies feed squirrels all the time, extending that to actual policy feels like run of the mill idiocy compared to the other stuff running wild in San Fransisco.
(And *of course* this happened in San Fransisco)
