Hall of Shame: The Six #FakeNewsRepublicans Who voted for Obamacare Repeal in 2015 But Voted to Save It Today

Susan Collins, who should be primaried, voted against the repeal in 2015 too. So she's a liberal Obama stooge, but she's not a liar.

But these six are damned liars-- including the supposed "hero" John McCain, of course.

Lamar Alexander, R-Tenn.
Shelley Moore Capito, R-W.Va.
Dean Heller, R-Nev.
John McCain, R-Ariz.
Lisa Murkowski R-Alaska
Rob Portman, R-Ohio

I bet you others -- such as John Cornyn, Bob Corker, and Lindsey Graham -- would have voted "no" if necessary to save Obamacare, but voted yes for the sake of appearances.

This is the party whose "principles" Trump is tarnishing?

What principles?

Will John "Build the Dang Fence" be giving us more lectures about Honor (which he alone possesses, according to his own reports) and "loud-mouths" who expect elected Senators to honor promises they made when seeking votes?

Now we get to the real game. The first two votes were done to appease the warring factions and to get votes to even proceed. Rand Paul insisted on this vote as a fig for voting to allow for debate knowing it was going to fail. That has never been in doubt.

Probably tomorrow afternoon is when the rubber hits the road and the amendments and vote-a-rama begins.

Between your dog and your kid, f*ck that dog, no matter how awesome it is. It's no contest. Kill it with your bare hands if you have to in an emergency. But at the very least, get it out of your house ASAP.

---
Thus, most of Fusion GPS's contracts seem to come from the left--except for its most famous project, the Russia dossier. Before it was passed on to the Democrats, it started on the right, when one Republican candidate--thought to be Jeb Bush but never confirmed--hired the outfit to amass damning material on Trump. From humble beginnings, it has taken on the shape of a modern-day legend....
---

Jeb Bush is NOT on the right. He's mid-center of the uniparty!

It's different from Trump, though. Trump is not specifically a conservative, but he can get some conservative things done because he's not all about defrauding the right, as the Washington General GOP is.

175 49 Early for a thread hijack, but my 7 y/o husky lunged at my toddler's head. I grabbed him to put him in his kennel, and he got my arm, putting two sizable gashes in it. Along with a few cuts on my opposite hand, that's the only blood he drew (i.e. none from the kid).

Part of me wants so badly to forgive him, part of me wants to take him to a no-kill shelter (in accordance with my wife) and lie about why (not in accordance with my wife), and part of me wants to choke him myself.

I fucking hate this.

Posted by: CPT11A

Perhaps he was putting the toddler in his place and wasn't going to bite, (he would have if he wanted to). Maybe you got cut because he thought was defending himself and maybe the kid against a lunatic. Fun fact: SS soldiers had to be forced to strangle their own dogs.

McCain will almost certainly be dead before he comes up for re-election (in 2022), so he of all these people had absolutely nothing to lose by voting the right way today.

Here is what McCain told me and my fellow AZ voters when he was running for re-election here in 2016:

"Have no doubt: Congress must replace Obamacare, which has hit Arizonans with some of the highest premium increases in the nation and left 14 of Arizona's 15 counties with only one provider option on the exchanges this year."

I have a grandfathered individual policy in AZ, and the premiums have gone through the roof since Obamacare passed. I will probably have to drop it this year, and be without coverage. Thanks for nothing McCain. As usual.

Voting to keep Obamacare is typical McCain. Always a tough-talking border hawk in a re-election year, then back to his shameless amnesty pimping as soon as the election is over.

This kind of shit is why he did not get my vote in 2016, and I only voted for him in 2008 because the alternative was so much worse.

So sick of this.

One day my next-door neighbor was over (we were both about 12) and he was sitting on the couch playing with Hans. After awhile Hans went under the couch and the neighbor leaned down and kept petting him.

Suddenly it dawned on me that the neighbor didn't know about the under-the-couch thing. I opened my mouth to say "Leave him alone" but before I could get the words out Hans attacked and got him in the face. He needed stitches.

From a legal stand point if the dog bites your kid and you take him/her to the hospital they'll notify child protection service and if they find out you knew about the biting problem you'll be needing one lawyer to get your kid back and a second lawyer to defend yourself against child endangerment charges.

Remember, they are behaviorally pack animals, where others in a wild pack might exploit sensed weakness by attacking. Being snarly or bitey is a defense mechanism in such a circumstance.

But for now, with a little kid around, the dog's got to be out of the house and off the property pronto. No time to figure out the fine details.

66 year old Republican until last Monday. State convention delegate every time but three since I could vote. National delegate once. Once I was one of the 5 crazies who ran the presidential campaign in my county. Tired of being lied to and betrayed. Now technically Unaffiliated. I consider myself TEA Party, and will do so unless Trump calls for a "Deplorable" Party under whatever name. Colorado changed its election laws to minimize voter input into who gets into the Primary elections [basically the Party Central Committee chooses] and Unaffiliated can now vote in either Primary. So there is not even a tactical reason to remain Republican.

We are getting real close to the point where since elections have no effect on policy no matter who wins, that electoral politics becomes moot. If politics reverts to the historical rules, politicians are going to find that they are not going to like it as much as they think they are.

Me too. I've been tolerant towards gays all my life, as long as they didn't hit on me personally, or didn't get in my face. Now they're in my face all the time, seemingly, and I feel my tolerance is coming to an end.
I'm starting to look for closet manufacturers to invest in.

That's a good point. I've been an un-Republican for more than a decade now. I still end up picking from Republican candidates. I call myself a "CI", conservative independent--however the lack of affiliation, just preps me in case enough of us break from the party.

Anybody should be able to see that a "Republican" majority is academic, if you have people like Snow and McShill in there.

But also, these guys voted to embarrass their own party's president in lock step with the Dems: "Oh, Putin's stooge can't touch our sanctions on Russia--unless he okays it with us!!"

These are the gutless wonders who couldn't stand up to Obama signing a "private agreement" with Iran--where his signature would have been worthless, had he not signed it as the sitting president! Because a treaty would involve the Senate--and Obama couldn't have that!

But Trump! Trump they're worried about--why not also include no hiring prostitutes for golden shower fountains as well, to COMPLETELY play into the fiction the Dems are building?!?

249 Ohio executed a child rapist/murderer today. When he was 19, the guy raped and beat to death his girlfriend's 3-year old, throwing the poor child against walls, and dragging her by the hair during the beating.

There are no words for such a degenerate. He received today a much kinder and gentler death than the vicious one he inflicted on that poor, innocent child, may she rest in peace.

Imagine getting to talk to your six year old about men kissing and snuggling up in bed together because of something they saw on a cartoon.
Posted by: Hate Has No Afro at July 26, 2017 07:03 PM (psH+N)

I might get a hate storm on me right now for saying this, but...

I actually think it's a good thing to have a gay couple in stories now and then, if it's done well, and not in a shit-eating "Seeeeee! we *made* them gay, cuz we knew you wouldn't like it, so nyeah!" way. Gay people exist. Especially in the western world, where (thank God) they can live (even if it's in sin) without worrying about being stoned to death or assaulted or run out of town.

Talk to your young kids about someone's two Daddies if they bring it up. Let them know that that's just a thing some people do. You can tell them it's wrong. Tell them it's weird, non-standard, however you want to put it. But let them grow up without blinders. Hiding things from them doesn't make Gayness disappear, just makes it look "exotic" to them. And when a show or cartoon DOES make a gay couple into a stupid sham of Faggyness, mock it for what it is in front of your kid. Mockery is very, very effective.

In other words, if "the gay agenda" was just to make a nation in which gay people could live without being harassed (or worse), I'm all for it.

When it's shove it down your throat (pun kinda intended), aggressive, virtue-signalling SJW bullshit, they can go screw. Or not screw. Whatever.

253 I got into it with Rob Portman one day at work. He came to visit our facility before his last election (because we're big into "sustainability"). At the end of his little speech he said I'll be happy to talk with you individually about anything before I leave. Anything. Guns, abortion, blah, blah,.... I'm involved in the Ohio Pro-life movement, so I took him up on it. Cleveland Right to Life had just expanded our charter to include traditional marriage. He lied to us about his stance before getting into office and then once he was in office, he had a change of heart because his son came out as gay. Too bad. When I called him out on this, he got so mad, he started to physically tremble. He's the biggest weak sister in that senate. I will vote for the dem the next time.

Greyhounds are marvelous animals ~ A friend used to have three retired racers. Had a large fenced in yard with his home in the middle. Every day he would let the hounds out and they would race around the yard (and house) time and time again like on the track. It was a beautiful sight. We used to have Whippets ~ they too loved to play catch ~ and frisbee catch the most. There is a reason that the event is called the Ashley Whippet invitational. Lovely dogs. At night they would curl up like cats and go to sleep.

supporting the Bush Library at SMU - she wanted to take every one in her family to show off this great museum and
library. Now she wouldn't be caught dead in that place- she supports Trump now -too bad the Republicans aren't supporting Trump.

258 There is no reasoning with a dog. There is no justification for a dog biting a child. I don't care if the child pulled his ears and put stickers on his head. A child is going to act like a child. The child cannot be put in jeopardy no matter if the dog misunderstood the circumstances, or bit from aggression.

A bite is a bite. A dog does not take precedence over the safety of the child, NO MATTER WHAT the child did or did not do.

I've seen too many situations like this. Do not push your luck. It is not worth it.

As for "rescue" organizations .... don't get me started. There is a very great chance they will adopt any dog out even if it has a bite history.

I'm sorry for your situation. It is not easy. Blessings.

When I called him out on this, he got so mad, he started to physically tremble.

That squishy sack of shit went on MSNBC to talk about his "evolution" on homo marriage after talking with his mincemeat son, which was a flagrantly piss poor reason for an ostensibly mature adult to have a change of heart on an issue. What about the rest of the citizens of the state whom he asked to vote for him before he was evolved? When do we get as sympathetic of an audience as his son got? Fuck him; I voted for him in November but I felt as bad doing it as when I voted for McRINO in 2008 and R$ in 2012

264 Lamar Alexander, R-Tenn is a member of the (nominally secret) world government. Alexander was turned when he was Governor of TN. Moved to Australia for training. Came back and was made TN Senator sorta like Al Gore, Jim Sasser and others. TN is not the Davy-Crockett all-can-do state as often portrayed by the media. A more representative picture is Newport cockfighting+prostitution and Elvis's Memphis mafia procuring a virgin a day. Think Darlings from Andy Griffith show. (Andy Griffith could have set his show in east TN with no change; Could have set it in Memphis with Aunt B as a retired Madam and the Sheriff taking a few open bribes).

265 "gay people could live without being harassed"

They can but don't. The harassed shoot off their mouths and annoy people. And play the victim card.

Everyone should carry a 22-caliber-five-shot-revolver and be hung-by-the-neck-til- dead if they misuse it as determined by a jury-of-their-peers.

Taking-up-the-22 should be a passage into adulthood.
