AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHH!

Their conclusion:

The Democratic Party is the largest crime syndicate in history.

Dinesh D'Souza agrees.

GorillaPundit weighs in:

talking ape.jpg
"I get so tired of these virtue-signaling celebrity halfwits bleating about global warming, or overpopulation, or whatever Michael Bay-level environmental disaster is
au courant. I mean, as far as extinction events go, me and my homies are in the on-deck circle, so homo sapiens can go pee up a rope. But no matter how long crybabies like Leonardo DiCaprio blubber and weep about the Earf, I never see any of them volunteer to get the hell off of it early so they'd stop sucking up resources they claim we're fast running out of. I mean, seriously, dude, if you think there are too many people on the earth, set an example and kill yourself. Consider it thinking globally and acting locally."

Establishing its own field of slush fund gravy, keeping activists employed in science forever. Instead of having to retool every decade or so.

All Mz. Gaia had to do was continue to follow what everybody thought was a long-term warming trend, and correlation would rule the day.

60 Actually, Instapundit's line about believing it when the idiots and rent-seekers act like that take it seriously is, um, stupid.

If some raving lunatic detached from reality is screaming that everyone must leave their houses and live outside, inside cardboard boxes, because that is the only way to defeat the secret alien takeover of Earf, and this lunatic himself is living in a cardboard box, would you take his concerns seriously?

Of course not. The climate nonsense is nonsense because of logic, common sense, and actual data and scientific method - and thus is dismissed by any serious scientifically literate person. The behavior of the nitwits (from "credentialed" "scientists" to hucksters like Gore to airhead celebrities) is irrelevant.

Fear has always been a means of Political control...

Whether fear of the Unknown (witches), fear of God (religion), fear of someone else's God, fear of the foreign (most Wars pre modern times)... even Fear of foreign Leaders (Bonaparte is the Debil)...

Now, they just use fear of things modern...

If our Government betters REALLY wanted to take care of Islamic Terrorism... it would be solved by now... (the actions would not have been pretty, but it could have been done).... instead after 9/11 they calmed us down, but used the Threat to assert MORE control.. on us...

Note, we are now in the Longest running 'War' in American History, and have no plans to win it... it will be perpetual War.

Same with Global Warming crap.... its the perfect Fear induced control mechanism... because they convinced most it exists, and can NEVER be solved... thus... accruing more and more power to solve an insolvable problem...

The prof told us flat out that a cooling period is worse than a warming period: food shortages, depletion of firewood and peat moss, lower melting of snow because of higher reflectivity, etc.

115 Suitable for any gathering of politicians:
It is high time for me to put an end to your sitting in this place,
which you have dishonored by your contempt of all virtue, and defiled by your practice of every vice.

Ye are a factious crew, and enemies to all good government.

Ye are a pack of mercenary wretches, and would like Esau sell your country for a mess of pottage, and like Judas betray your God for a few pieces of money.

Is there a single virtue now remaining amongst you? Is there one vice you do not possess?

Ye have no more religion than my horse. Gold is your God. Which of you have not bartered your conscience for bribes? Is there a man amongst you that has the least care for the good of the Commonwealth?

Ye sordid prostitutes have you not defiled this sacred place, and turned the Lord's temple into a den of thieves, by your immoral principles and wicked practices?

Ye are grown intolerably odious to the whole nation. You were deputed here by the people to get grievances redressed, are yourselves become the greatest grievance.

Your country therefore calls upon me to cleanse this Augean stable, by putting a final period to your iniquitous proceedings in this House; and which by God's help, and the strength he has given me, I am now come to do.

I command ye therefore, upon the peril of your lives, to depart immediately out of this place.

Go, get you out! Make haste! Ye venal slaves be gone! So! Take away that shining bauble there, and lock up the doors.

In the name of God, go!

165 The Finns actually did a study. The plastic grocery bags have a far far far smaller "carbon footprint" than the "resusable" waxed cotton grocery bags. Between the cotton farming, manufacturing, dying, transport, manufacture etc etc etc etc than the thin grocery bags. You'd have to use a reusable waxed cotton bag over 1000x to make it even close to ONE plastic bag for better carbon footprint. They are also disgustingly dirty.

Once had an effeminate clerk try to get me to use the reusable bag. I refused nicely twice, the third time I ripped him with stats. Then reminded him that he asked.

389 @324 I was here for a long time under a name I use everywhere else.
We used to have a regular named Miss Marple. We wuz pals. She crossed the streams with the boss one day, over whether it was OK to put up silly posts during troubled times, and poof she was gone. There was a brief, enraged and then hilarious, campaign to bring back Miss Marple.

In the ouevre, old bat Miss Marple had a boyfriend, Stringer Davis.
Kind of a Watson to her strident Holmes. And so I assumed it.

IRL the actors who portrayed those two were as ghey as you can get, each to his own gender, still had a touching personal relationship, and yet their adopted child was an early operative trans and involved in the deathly scandal that ended up in "Midnight In The Garden." I tried not to assume that part.

406 Yup, the Montreal Protocol....I remember having to shell out a fortune at the time to replace the air conditioner in my car. And, if you look at the records, you will see that after such a drastic step was taken, the ozone hole actually increased in size. Recently (the last 5 years) the Global Warming crew (who were, also, the Ozone Hole crew back then) have resorted to saying that making the ozone hole smaller resorts in an increase to the speed in which Global Warming is occurring. But, then again, it really never is about the substance of the claims, it's about how that issue can be used to gain control and exercise a modicum of power. That's why it will never end. Technically, the "science" is now suggesting that we are approaching a period of Global Cooling, which will be latched on with fervor in the very same way that these other two "eventualities" have been exploited.

Dunkirk is a great true story of the English people pulling together in the face of disaster, so you'd think the critics would hate it

But it's a story of military disaster so lots of panicked and dying soldiers which plugs into the whole dying for nothing view of the Left. So that may account for some reviews

But Nolan is a great and very ambitious director so it may just be a damn good movie.

Aided by politicians, lobbyists and the media, the money and attention focused on AIDS in the United States since mid-1983 have ensured the development of an AIDS industry, involving researchers, doctors, therapists, social workers, and administrators, who have taken control of the definition and management of the disease.

pg 322.

Now replace the word AIDS with Global Warming.

417 370 Anybody see Dunkirk? Spouse and son are going. I'm wondering if' it's good )I know the reviews were good) and no I don't care if there are no women and people of color in it.

Yeah, has anyone seen it? I'm going to see it this weekend.
Reviews have been good, but it makes me leary when critics love it.

Mrs IMG and I saw it last night. Overall, meh. She did not like the soundtrack. 75% "impending doom mood music". Editing in the beginning of the film was a bit confusing.

The film doesn't give you a good picture of the context leading up to the operation. You don't have a sense of the scale of it (800+ ships used, couple hundred sunk, over 100 aircraft on each side shot down). If you already know the history, that's not so big a deal. But I think most in the theater with me did not.

To be fair, this film is seen through the experiences of a few characters/groups of characters and is not a overview of the entire operation.

Not the best war movie ever.

Apparently my husband think I'm funny too. He is just less moody than i am. I have male friend who is married and he says that his wife keeps him focused on prorities butis not intense-which is a good thing, because he is!. Also, people can groan and roll their eye now ;^) but we have become even closer since we pray together every morning. That's because. I think a part of the prayer is where i say the things I respect and love about him and am grateful to God for.

420 But Nolan is a great and very ambitious director so it may just be a damn good movie.

Preventive measure: bring earplugs. It is Loud! The music, I mean, overwhelms the artillary. Forget trying to hear the dialog, its all in mumbled dialect. Needs captions.

422 Well we knew the soundtrack was going to be subpar. When Zimmer's 'Supermarine' was played on the ONT I gave up halfway through because it sounded more like it belonged in the movie Das Boot.

I wash the bags and the reusable bottle (top is dishwasher safe, so how hard is that anyway?) same with the coffee cup at work. I rinse it out and weekly I use dish soap,

It's like people have no common sense. Or maybe they're related to the guy who didn't wash his gym clothes until he got BOILS.

427 I think the ozone hole "crisis" was the model for AGW. It varies naturally in ways we can't predict very well. An elite convinced the public that it varies with a manmade substance, CFC's. Legislation was then enacted to control CFC's. The ozone hole continues to vary in ways we can't predict very well, but no one can prove the elite wrong.

431 Globalist Corporation, Dupont, lost their patent rights for Freon products, so they 'discovered' the ozone hole and said chloro-flouro carbons were the cause. They just happened to have hydro-chloro-flouro carbon products ready to go, patented, and available for a substantial mark-up.

432 Air Quality Alerts at online weather sites post that ozone levels are high in the area. They call it pollution. Go figure.

When outside, if you find it a bit disturbing to breath, it's not the heat, it's not the humidity, it's the ozone.

433 Fascinating. Do a goggle on Ozone Al Gore 1992 and you get a link to a 1992 Gore editorial in the Washington Post called... wait for it... THE OZONE CATASTROPHE: WARNING FROM THE SKIES. Yep All CAPS.

Then check NASA annual ozone hole stats since 1979

434 Nobody talks about the ozone hole anymore because the chemical responsible for it was banned worldwide and it started reversing as a result, not because it was a made-up issue. Ignorance like some of what I see in the comments here is why I'm still on the fence on global warming. Lots of cultists on the left, lots of conspiracy theorists on the right. Neither know the first thing about climate but will talk your head off if the subject comes up.
