.National polls are worthless at this point. CA, NY and IL skew any poll results into hard democrat territory. This is exactly why the founders set up the Electoral College and did not go with the popular vote.

The only polls that come somewhat close are State polls. And I don't think there is any company out there doing Presidential popularity polling State by State.

If you take CA, NY, IL and the rest of New England out of the mix Trump is most likely polling at about 55-60%.

99 So here's my "after the casting out service" story for those that didn't see it yesterday FenelonSpouse and I went back to the church to leaver the cross which I had borrowed. On our way out of the parking area we took a look at some flowers spouse had just planted in front of our sign-which we did to brighten the place up (He also cleaned the sign) and on top of a sunflower was a goldfincheating some of the seeds. Goldfinches are lovely and it was a beautiful sight. God is masterful artist, Just a little bit of beauty right there. If we ask God to open our eyes to signs of beauty as we go about our day we will see them-even in small ways such as in seeing a tiny goldfinch on top of flowers.

I take your point; nonetheless, there should be mandated camera discipline with consequences for failure to comply.
For example, an on-duty officer must have the body camera on at all times, unless he calls dispatch asking for a timed exception, such as a bathroom break. And the cameras should have an in contact monitor at dispatch, preferably everything is recorded for reverse surveillance, unless a break has been formally called. Of course, the camera servers could always be wiped with a cloth if Hilary was involved.

My poor baby (14 months) is entering his fourth week of frequent vomiting and diarrhea. He had rotavirus and astrovirus (at the same time) for the first couple weeks, then last week he had another random flare-up, and again early this morning. This is following a couple of months of occasional (1-2x/wk) vomiting - and he's had trouble gaining weight pretty much his whole life (he is sensitive to cow's milk protein, so he had to drink a special formula). The GI specialists have been no help (unless you call diagnosing him with failure to thrive helping), and the possible causes of these symptoms range from annoying to life-threatening. I'm really scared. If you are inclined to pray, please do.

If I understood that cocksucker's forked tongue correctly, he wants deadbeats who've never spent a fucking dime on health insurance during their entire adult excuse for a life and suddenly find out they've shockingly gotten a serious problem, to be able to jump on board for ZippyCare and pay no more in premiums than the people who've shelled out all along. Leaving aside that it blows the concept of risk pools completely out of the water, the only way that can be actuarially sound is to present value the deadbeats joining in the future into the current expenses and spread it over current participants who get a major fuck job.

They've started testing, but so far, everything* is negative, which is both good (he doesn't have the things they've checked so far) and bad (...what *does* he have?). We first saw them a few weeks ago before things got really bad, so I'm going to call and tell them we have to get more aggressive.

*well, he did test positive for inflammation like in IBD, but he had two bad stomach bugs at the time, which could also cause inflammation, and his symptoms in general are not remotely consistent with IBD, so I don't really believe that result. I think we will have to repeat that test when (if?) he gets better.

Mrs. Peel, first, don't panic. Secondly, this sounds like my nephew. He was eventually diagnosed with an ecoli infection. My own 14 mo old was hosptalized with rotavirus and didn't eat much until he was 9. Both grew up and were college atheletes and were just fine. The sensitivities will slowly ebb away. Nutrients are absorbed quickly and some vomiting isn't the end of the world. You might have to briefly find a wet nurse. Breast milk is the only protein that is 100% digestible for human children. I had to nurse one of mine way too long because he couldn't tolerate anything, even the "special" formulas. Personally, I'd try baby food meats, the human can ususally digest meats and they'll help with the protein needs.Keep researching yourself, follow your gut. Talk to other mothers. God bless.

The Senate filibuster rule still applies for legislation. So McConnell (and Ryan) cannot do anymore now than they could from Jan 2015 to Jan 2017 in terms of getting a bill passed by both houses of Congress. You never hear McConnell explain that. I think that's because he does not want to ditch the filibuster. Didn't want to for Gorsuch, either, but he was forced to by Trump or his conscience or something.

The only way "Trump Agenda" bills get to PDT's desk to be signed is if McConnell ditches the filibuster for legislation. Or if the GOP has about 65 Senators after the 2018 elections. (60-plus will be needed when McCain, Graham, Collins, and a few other RINO Senators do their usual sell-outs on anything the MFM objects to.)

The pediatrician wasn't much help, just suggesting different formulas and feeding schedules.

We solved the problem with going to solid food - cereal and other baby foods - with only a bottle at night. It worked like a charm. Food stayed down, immediate weight gain, slept all night, everything fine.

Maybe it would work for you.

DC has been doing that with a lot of their Hanna-Barbera characters (both WB-owned). They recently finished a Flintstones series that tried to hit on as many leftist tropes as they could. Not at all funny.

The only DC-HB book I've enjoyed is Future Quest, which took all of HB's 1960s action heroes (Jonny Quest, Space Ghost, etc.) and put them in one straightforward adventure story. It really kicked in the nostalgia for me.

Food prices at grocery stores and especially restaurants are a high-inflation item the MFM never got around to reporting about the last 8 years. Wonder why? And IIRC, those prices are NOT included in the Fed Gov's consumer inflation index. Crazy.

I am amazed how much I have to spend when I go out for lunch. I rarely do it anymore. I'm doubly-amazed that the young engineers I work with go out to lunch at least 9 days out of every 10...and then they bitch about having to wait so long to buy a house and worry if they'll have enough for retirement.

Their breakfast sandwiches are okay. Coffee okay. Restrooms clean.

But the 'good old days' when you approached Burger King and you could see the vent pipe sticking out of the roof and you could smell the flame charred goodness of the burgers from two blocks away are sadly gone. Along with the crowds that used to snake out the entrance door.

As always I suspect someone complained they were polluting the air with delicious smelling charred meat and they decided to pack in the assembly line.

My second son couldn't keep any formula down and I ended up nursing him until he was 2.5. He could, however, keep down food without milk protein. He would vomit ANY formula and I couldn't pump, so I was stuck with him 24/7 for 2 years. He's 6'1", 190lbs, iron man football star and just got a integrated science and technology degree in biophramacology and energy.

I really support the idea of food, especially meat. I'm not nuts about the whole cereal thing. Think meats ie, lamb, turkey and sweet potatoes are a better bet. There is some kind of turkey "meal" that he loved and would eat gallons of, even cold.

The pediatrician told me about a kid who wouldn't or couldn't eat or keep anything down except lobster newburg. My 3rd son was wild over beef tenderloin. 1st son didn't eat anything but eggs and goldfish until he was school age and didn't touch meat until he was 9. He's 5 inches shorter than his brothers,

When my wife was pregnant with first child the morning sickness was wicked. Day after day after day. One night we went out to dinner and she had lobster. The next morning no upchuck.

After that nothing but seafood for dinner the next six months. She was never sick again and dropped a healthy nine pounder who to this day hates seafood.
