El Salvadoran Illegal Immigrant Who Raped and Killed Muslim Girl Is, Get This, Reported a Member of MS-13
Gee, I wonder why this particular Hate Crime dropped off the national media radar in such a hurry.
Incidentally, he is suspected of having sexually assaulted another woman in the previous week:The suspect charged with murdering a 17-year-old Muslim girl during Ramadan was accused of sexually assaulting another woman a week before the teen’s slaying in Virginia and is reportedly an MS-13 gang member. Darwin Martinez Torres, of El Salvador, allegedly sent a woman to hospital after he punched and choked her, according to a Loudoun County Child Protective Services report obtained by the Washington Post. The alleged acts happened in front of a child, and the woman said she didn’t want to press any charges against her attacker who was later identified by authorities as Torres.

On occasion, I'll make a comment like "Well, you know, I'm a white woman" in relation to something-- like if we're discussing music that they don't know. Every time I do that, I get a laugh. For some reason, pointing out that you're white is actually OK-- it's like pointing out you're short or bald. It kind of makes it easier to get along, which might or might not make sense.

Ok, so it's wrong to deport an illegal who has commited a crime if they have kids.
Let's say an American single mother robs a convenience store. The American single mother is convincted of a robbery. Should she not be sent to jail becuase she has children?
Conversely... a hunter is on private property. There are "no trespassing" signs posted. The hunter is caught. Should the hunter be allowed to walk if he has children or if he feels the fine is too harsh?
By their presence in this country, these individuals are committing a crime. If we don't enforce that law, why do we enforce other laws? Can't all laws be seen as harsh?
That's where "we need to be compassionate" falls apart for me. People choose to commit crimes. We even have punshment when people are unaware they are committing a crime (speeding when you don't know the speed limit.)
So.. eff compassion. The law is blind.

Very sweet of you. Truth is I may be one of the few that actually gets along quite well with my ex. In fact, while I was gone last week my ex took care of Elvis and her new 8 month old Golden puppy for the week.

Unusual perhaps but not really weird. We were married for quite some time and never got to the point of hating each other, just decided it was time to go in different directions. We didn't want it to affect our families and friends and make them choose between us so we didn't make them.
What's weird to me would be pretending that we hate each other and making everyone around us uncomfortable. Got some friends like that and not only are they miserable everyone around them is too. How is that better?
