Kurt Eichenwald tweeted out a picture of his computer screen to show the anti-semitic messages he was getting. Here's the thing, though: the screenshot included a tab in his browser. Now, I have to include a Content Warning here for the foreground image of the anti-semitic crap Eichenwald tweeted out. (Though he was tweeting this out to show how awful his critics were.) But if you look at his tabs, you'll see a tab calling itself "B-Chiku (English, Uncensored, 212 pictures)" or something. I don't know what that means. Well, I didn't know what that means. Now I'm hip. Apparently B-Chiku is hentai tentacle porn -- you know, that odd, much-discussed thing where giant tentacle monsters rape human women (well, it's not always rape, but these are monsters so it's rape a lot of the time, and Japanese porn generally has a rape vibe to it) -- and you can see that (Content Warning!) in the third picture in this tweet, the dirtiest parts redacted. Since I spent my career in the graphic arts I can say (with just a little bit of exaggeration) that my interest in what the Japanese animators are doing is in my field.
Some of the stuff is approaching downright scary as to being lifelike.

Although a dangerous area to explore, I was thinking along those lines, in a more general way, when reading some of Ben Shapiro's tweets about Trump. He was a nevertrumper who extended the idiot "17 intel agencies" ridiculousness. He's busy saying how egotistical and uncouth (or some such) Trump is while he's sorta a stereotypical cartoon version of, well.... It would be hard to tell him and pajama boy apart without the pajamas.
While his tweets were generally on the "right," he managed to be obnoxious because he had to get digs in as well. Sorta a virtue signaling odor that makes one want to put him in a locker.

Yeah, it's a catch-all term that partially originates from the West. I guess in Japanese it would just be ero manga or H/ecchi manga (though ecchi can just be any sexual content - it need not rise to the level of hardcore pornography).

Hentai is a japanese word meaning "pervereted." Internationaly the word hentai has come to mean adult material of Japanese origin (or, sometimes influenced). I japan hentai is not used generically.
Hentai refers both to animated AND still images. what is referenced in the post is a hentai manga. As opposed to a Hentai Doujinshi or Hentai Anime.
Manga is professionally produced adult comics featuring original characters.
Doujinshi is amateur works featuring either original characters or using characters from another work.
(I love it when a topic comes up that really hits my area of expertise)
