Bangaladesh Prime Minister: Hillary Clinton Personally Pressured Me to Help Out a Clinton Foundation Donor

Sara Carter reports for Circa:

While secretary of state, Hillary Clinton made a personal call to pressure Bangladesh's prime minister to aid a donor to her husband's charitable foundation despite federal ethics laws that require government officials to recuse themselves from matters that could impact their spouse’s business.

The Office of Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina confirmed to Circa that Mrs. Clinton called her office in March 2011 to demand that Dr. Muhammed Yunus, a 2006 Nobel Peace prize winner, be restored to his role as chairman of the country’s most famous microcredit bank, Grameen Bank. The bank's nonprofit Grameen America, which Yunus chairs, has given between $100,000 and $250,000 to the Clinton Global Initiative. Grameen Research, which is chaired by Yunus, has donated between $25,000 and $50,000, according to the Clinton Foundation website.

"Former US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton telephoned Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in March 2011 insisting her not to remove Dr. Muhammad Yunus from the post of Managing Director of Grameen Bank," Deputy Press Secretary Md Nazrul Islam told Circa in an email.

Sure seems like #EvidenceOfCollusion to me.

"Reported" based on anonymous sources. The Echo Chamber at work folks.

There's a 1,000 or more years of common law generally prohibiting the use of hearsay as evidence, for good reason. Village gossip.

Journalists too used to have similar standards. Senior Editor Ben Bradlee at WaPo wouldn't publish solely on an anonymous source who called himself Deep Throat.

FBI #2 Mark Felt -- who was Deep Throat -- also wanted Woodward and Bernstein to independently source the story (at his direction -- "follow the money") in order to cover his own ass as the original source.

As I understand it from reading in between the lines -- they wanted outside (read: US) support since the bangladeshi govt didn't support what they were doing for whatever reasons.

So they paid the fee to get a threatening call made from Hillarys office.

I'm sure it was a tiered fee schedule. Maybe if they paid $2 million, Hillary would have threatened to withhold US dollars so something from the govt. Who knows?

Comey was trying to be J Edgar Hoover.

Have something in his back pocket against who ever got elected - with Hillary it was the emails, with Trump Russia. He figured he be bullet proof. In his defense, look no one has axed Koskinen yet and all he has is everybody's tax returns.

206 because some gay 'couple' abused the hell out of a Russian child.

was shopping for Mother's Day cards today and noticed a category: "wife to wife". I wondered what that meant, so I pulled out the card. It was a photo of two females kissing on the lips while holding coffee cups, and then the text inside was something about being a great woman, blah blah blah. I guess they had to make the front of the card as literal as possible so there would be not doubt who the target consumer was.

There was only one card of that category on the rack. My area isn't really GZ for that sort of activity.

This has nothing to do with abuse, just the New Normal of homosexual couples having children.

We are going to get wiped out in 2018. Then, in 2020, the Restoration will occur--the deplorable rabble will be lashed out of DC, the Clinton Continuum will regain its rightful tenure at the trough, Trump will retire in disarray, and the smirking will resume.

This analysis is based on past mid-term patterns which may not apply here. Usual pattern is a President comes in high and then people get tired of him, somewhat. Other side is more energized and gets better turnout.

It can (and I bet will) play differently in 2018.

The Rs also have a huge structural advantage in the Senate because 2/3rds of the seats that are up are Ds, 10 of which are in states that Rs won.

As for 2018? Cmon, that's still forever away in the world of politics. I don't think it'll be any better or worse then other midterms, but who knows what will happen between now and then.

Recall: according to the media, Trump had somewhere between a 3% and a 25% chance of winning. They're full of shit, I wouldn't worry about what they say about anything. Clearly the majority of the American people (or close to it) already ignore the media completely, or Trump would have received 0 votes.

Sample dialogue:

Think Home Improvement, except in this series Tim Allen has a wife and 3 cute daughters instead of sons.

There's not even any kind of allegation about anything illegal here, either.

In arguendo, if the Russians DID help play a dirty campaign trick on Hillary and phish the DNC and Podesta and, in concert with Trump, leak those emails to Wikileaks in an attempt to hurt Hillary -- TRUMP has still violated no laws that I know of.

The phishers probably violated some kind of fraud laws, but they're outside US jurisdiction.

Wikileaks violated no laws. Trump violated no laws. So... what the fuck is the argument here?

That it makes Trump look bad?

I mean, I guess... I don't think his supporters care.

So why is this even a story?

And that's assuming all of the allegations are true, which I don't assume at all. I think they were pulled directly out of a Hillary! staffers ass, tbh.

McAuliffe, his state party and Hillary bundlers, even those on Hillary's staff was a staggering $1, 600,000.00 while her husband "investigated" Hillary.

What if Trump had given Mrs. Comey a million six?

It's just like Benghazi. There was a rapidly developing story, and they went out there IMMEDIATELY with a narrative, and it didn't matter at all how accurate the narrative was. It didn't matter at all, that after the fact there were going to be Congressional investigations, with testimony from Sue Rice and others about just what they knew, and when they knew it.

What mattered was: Creating a narrative. Create the narrative, and let the facts gently fall after the fact.

So... that video guy did it!

And now it's... Trump fired him because he was THIS close to finding the truth.

The narrative. It is and always is, the point.

The Dems, especially the Left, are energized and organized... and organized outside of the usual Dem channels due to Bernie.

Republicans, OTOH, are far more despondent. Also, Trump won't be on the ballot to get the true-believers to come out.

House is at risk. GOP is also very vulnerable in the Gov races... which are important because of redistricting after 2020 census.

Not very vulnerable in the Senate... but the GOP must gain a crudload of seats because they are very overexposed in 2020 and 2022, and failure to pick up seats in 2018 would likely give the Dems a majority at least throughout 2024.

Relax. Nobody has said the words "paternity test."

352 This has nothing to do with abuse, just the New Normal of homosexual couples having children.

"Having" in the legal sense, not in the biological sense, of course.

353 Many Senators honestly disagree.

Trying to convince them or hashing out a deal could work.

Telling them they are scum and that you will primary them anyway does the opposite.

The Democrats don't have this problem--the betrayal of their base problem, I mean. Why? Because most national-level Democratic politicians actually believe their own bullshit. They have an overarching (albeit incredibly fucked up) ideology. Democratic pols follow the party line. Narrative is Gospel.

And what do we have? Cynical operators who view their own supporters as suckers and rubes.

And you think they'll do what we want with a little gentle persuasion?

354 Bitch better not dodge this bullet. This is Trump vs the Demomediacrats throw-down time!

Ryno, Miss Lindsey and Mr Magoo can watch from the sidelines and cover their eyes. Let a man in there. A man who will put his ass on the line for his country.

But don't worry: Modern Family and that stinking pile known as The Middle is coming back.

LMS was the only sitcom I actually bothered to put on my weekly schedule. Last year I got my parents interested in watching it. Vanessa was a great character.

It was ten times better than Home Improvement. I used to watch reruns, but I stopped after the episode in which the middle son stole from a family friend's hardware store. I expected the brat to gain an understanding of why his dad was ashamed of him and apologize to his dad. Jill turned it into a time for Tim to apologize for yelling at the little thief.
