Ignore Vox Writers At Your Peril: They're Better Than The Onion

DylanMatthews.jpg

A progressive wet dream. No, not Dylan, even most leftists have better taste than that. But the collectivist drivel about single payer (disguised as "universal coverage") is the lodestone for most of them, because from that all-encompassing control comes pretty much everything else.

Please Dylan, keep hammering away with that idea. Americans are absolutely ready for confiscatory taxes on alcohol, and they are so weary of owning their own cars. It is time! Charge into the fray!

Not only will abandoning our cars lower the levels of evil co2 going into the atmosphere, our shorter lifespans will reduce it even more. If that's not enough, rationed healthcare, totally not using information about group affiliations, should handle the rest.

60 Sorry, but when I look at that fucking weirdo, the word "healthy" does not cross my mind.

I've made all kinds of bad choices in my life, and as I approach 50 I am regularly told by both older and younger women that I am very good looking. Why? Because I have an active lifestyle.

And no, I am not a natural athlete. I was the gywho got picked last in elementary school. I had to come up the hard way.

This schmuck probably has more "natural" health and good looks than I do, simply based on the fact that, even though he obviously has never lifted more than 20 pounds in his life, he does not seem to be fat. But instead of acquiring a wiry strength, he has focused all his energy on bringing the "beautiful people" down to his repulsive level. So he literally looks like someone with a mental handicap, instead of just the lazy coward he is.

Dope shops opening up right and left there, which by itself is probably not a big deal, but the fact that they have to operate in all cash (can't use banks, they are federal), means that a certain well-armed and idiotic group thinks they are great places to knock over. And really, who can blame them. I've seen ads for work for "bouncer" types, who apparently guard the place while open, but after hours? No thanks.

They wish to rule us because it is their revenge against those who made/make fun of them for the way they look/act.

I learned that accepting myself was way more important than others accepting me.

People like Dylan here decided that instead, they preferred to punish those who were unlike them. Therefore, they wish to have power and rule over as many as possible...for revenge.

376 364 That was intended as hyperbole.

Posted by: Weasel at April 26, 2017 08:23 PM (Sfs6o)

I'm sure it was.

But for all of the obvious reasons, it's not a good idea.

Hyperbole tends to get noticed by humorless scolds with axes to grind.

You go! Get it into the Democrat platform.

In fact, make it the top plank.

Please make it the top plank.

398 It's the name. Dylan. Do you know anybody named Dylan who is not a flaming progressive asshole?

Posted by: gobagoo at April 27, 2017 05:41 AM (A/saJ)

399 Half a century ago, when I was in college, the profs ran a cool game. We were "an island of civilization in a sea of barbarism/ignorance." And they'd smile.
Some of us got to thinking we knew stuff. More than the great unwashed who hadn't gone to college. A sophomore was convinced he knew more than anybody who hadn't gone to college, nomatter the guy's life experience.
In fact, we knew more than any graduates, except those who weren't profs.
And what we knew was what the profs told us.
Some of us didn't buy to start with and most of us got over it.
Some didn't. Some thought they know everything , know better than anybody else, no matter the life experience.
If you had to imagine one of the latter, after a bad batch of weed, he'd look like this guy.
