Congressional Intelligence Committees Sources: The Intelligence Community Is Stonewalling Us On Demands for Information About Surveillance and Unmasking
This is dereliction of duty and insubordination (given that Trump is now their boss, and I presume has ordered them to cooperate). If Trump hasn't made it clear yet, he should: Any further stonewalling is a firing offense and will in fact result in a speedy firing for cause.

At some point Trump has to make it clear that he is in fact the President and will act as one -- including summary termination of insubordinate and/or actually criminal employees -- or the Permanent Swamp will make it clear that they are the ones in charge, and Trump isn't really President. Obama still is. And if Trump doesn't do that, then he deserves the fate he'll be getting when he's hounded out of office or leaked into electoral defeat in 2020. I think the Daily Caller is making a mistake to include this in a story about the leaking of classified materials to Washington Post reporters. ( Specifically the Flynn conversations with the Russian Ambassador.) That--I would assume-- is a different, and separate investigation--and the NSA does not refer to that at all in the comment that The Daily Caller references here in the article.

We've got plenty of time. The committees investigating this are permanent, they never go away. Gorsuch gets approved tomorrow, a deal on healthcare will arrive either tomorrow or after the Easter break (and then we go to the Senate and this starts all over again) and then comes tax reform and it's actually being negotiated as we speak behind closed doors.
In reality, all of this is moving pretty damn fast. Trump has been undoing much of Obama's legacy behind the scenes with very little press coverage but it is having a dramatic effect already.

I learned a fascinating fact recently.
At Justice, the focal node of publicly funded rabble-rousing and race-baiting under color of authority is the neutral-sounding "Community Relations Service". Which did such a great job with "community relations" in, say, Ferguson.
It's a relic of the LBJ era. Part of the original 1964 Civil Rights Act.
It was originally stipulated to be part of the Commerce Department, by the act in question, for reasons which baffle me, but Johnson promptly used an executive order to move it over to DOJ. Where that office has been engaging in massive lefty agitprop and ongoing Hatch Act violations ever since.
So if we've got precedent for Presidents moving legislatively created sub-agencies around, from one of Fedzilla's departments to another, on personal whim, that opens up many, many opportunities for monkeywrenching the federal bureaucracy.

If Susan Rice committed illegal acts as an employee of the Federal Government. If Susan Rice, and any other democrat escapes investigation, prosecution, and conviction then this is no longer the United States I was told about in high school civics class, and Obama's scheme to fundamentally transform the US has succeeded.

In the first go round you love crimes that are simple to charge: heroin possession; taking a known classified document off a secure system and putting it on an unsecure system; taking a known classified document and giving it to a reporter.
You don't give minions immunity. You tell them they're going to jail unless they rat on a higher up.
You don't limit your investigation to a narrow subset of what the possible crimes are -- you follow where the evidence leads. You also keep the targets guessing.
The DOJ/FBI investigation of Hillary broke all these rules and more -- on purpose.

Every day proves that the Obama regime was every bit as corrupt as we knew it was but we only know that because Trump is now in charge and information is finally starting to come out. None of that would have come out under Obama.
Our system wasn't built for people like Obama and his corrupt administration. A lot depends on honest people of goodwill. Not to mention a media that is also honest and not playing for the other team. Hillary Clinton's crimes were obvious to the entire country and she came within inches of being elected President. This is what we are up against.
This was never going to be easy. We are fighting an entrenched bureaucracy, a corrupt Democrat Party and an equally corrupt media and that doesn't even include a pretty dumbed down populace.
With someone as balls to the walls as Trump I think we have a shot but it is going to take a while. I'm not expecting overnight miracles.

Since then it's come out that the number of American "advisors" in Iraq is up to ten thousand (!). So it's pretty safe to say that there are U.S. service members doing hands-on "advising" in Mosul right now.
