Depends on how low the bar is set for "happen". If, as the article suggests, the plan is to get Chelsea elected as the Rep for a safe district in NYC, it could happen. If Maxine Waters, Nancy Pelosi, and Barbara Lee can make it to the House, literally anyone with the support of the Dem machine can do the same given a district that leans strongly to the left.
Whether or not she can leverage that safe seat into something bigger is a different question. That's where some political talent becomes more important. Though, as Hilary getting elected as Senator demonstrates, anything is possible in politics.

If the parents are willing to spend time on polishing the next generation in terms of actual rule, it can be very advantageous. You have the expectancy of rule, the education to back it up, and the smooth transition of power when it comes up.
But that requires dedication and vision from the parents along with resolve and acceptance from the children.
It's also why most family owned businesses don't do particularly well past the first generation on average.

Last night's Oscar bizarreness was not just bizarre but bizarre in a way that is typical of this entirely bizarre time. The rhythm of the yes-they-won-oh-my-God-no-they-didn't event, with "La La Land" replaced by "Moonlight" as Best Picture, was weirdly like that of ... Election Night. First, a more or less expected, if "safe," result was on its way-though Hillary Clinton never got all the way to the stage, so to speak, the result did seem safely in hand at 7 P.M., according to the polling-and the expected and safe people were ready to deliver their touching but obviously polished pieces. Then the sudden confusion and visible near-panic of people running around in the background of the stage, with the same slightly horrified spirit that one felt on Election Night as shocking results began emerging from the exurban counties in Florida. Then, yes-can this be happening?-the revised and unexpected result.
And so both of these bizarre events put one in mind of a simple but arresting thesis: that we are living in the Matrix, and something has gone wrong with the controllers. This idea was, I'm told, put forward first and most forcibly by the N.Y.U. philosopher David Chalmers: what is happening lately, he says, is support for the hypothesis that we are living in a computer simulation and that something has recently gone haywire within it. The people or machines or aliens who are supposed to be running our lives are having some kind of breakdown. There's a glitch, and we are in it.
He goes on to tie the Super Bowl into his, um, thesis.

I could see some compromise or softening or even limited amnesty *after* the Wall is built (or at least vast portions do what they're supposed to), crime goes down, that sort of thing.
Maaaaybe 2018 or '19 at the very very earliest. These things take time, and the idea behind the Wall and other aspects of an actual enforcement regime is to create a new reality, a better reality.
Anyway, yeah, it's way too early for Trump to go wobbly on the biggest issue of the campaign.

Yeah, they'll want to give Chelsea the same treatment as Hillary; namely, take someone who has absolutely zero political history but who has a politically-connected family and give her a veneer of political credibility by cosseting her into a cushy Senate seat for at least one full term. They won't want it to go much longer than that, though, because the Clinton brand will start to fade very quickly now that Cankles has been sent into exile. They won't want to get her into the House, though, b/c the reelection cycle in the House is way too fast to get her any kind of clout. Besides, the Senate is the American equivalent of the House of Lords - it's where The Ruling Class views itself most favorably. You can't have the Daughter of the Clintons mucking around with the hoi polloi in the House when she could be socializing with the Select, Special Few who comprise the Senate.

Once Bill is gone the Clinton name means as much as the Johnson name.
They have to get either Hillary the presidency in 2020 or Chelsea started on the road now in order to retain any sense of relevancy at all.
I guess a House seat would be a way to start, but it'd be about the equivalent of any Senator I think (clout of Clinton name + House seat = No name + Senate seat). They'd be in for the long haul.
At that point, you wonder who it's for? Does Chelsea want it? Is it the organization around the family? Is Hillary really that desperate for some kind of power? (Don't laugh)

It's more about seeing what he put down for nationality, as in NOT identifying as an American and him having to explain that.
But it would be nice to show people that affirmative action is promoting people that don't deserve promoting at the expense of someone that deserves it. So a white kid that had better grades and resume got shafted so white liberals could feel good.

Which gets me to my random conspiracy thought: lots of things are way WAY cheaper online than in stores. I'm sort of feeling it's part of the drive to get rid of cash.

A lot of that is driven by dropship businesses, I think. You can easily put together an ecommerce website which links to dropship wholesalers like Doba or DropshipDirect. You never have to purchase inventory until you've made a sale, and the wholesaler actually ships the product to your customer.
You can do the same dropship business linking to your ebay account as well.
