1 Good Morning Morons. Today is Saturday, February 25, 2017. On this day in 1866 miners in Calaveras County, California, discovered what is now called the Calaveras Skull, human remains that supposedly indicated that man, mastodons, and elephants had co-existed. The "science was settled"; until they found out the entire thing was a hoax.

Mmmm. Sounds good.
The problem with HFCS and CS isn't so much that it's bad for you, or makes you gain weight easier. It's that it became the sweetener and "filler" of choice by manufacturers. HFCS because it's cheaper then sugar, and CS because it would replace fat in many of the manufacturers recipes.
So, the low fat craze really drove a lot of the recipe substitutions and people were embracing even more of those calories thinking they wouldn't make them fat. The HFCS was a lot cheaper then sugar, so they were able to produce and sell soda type products by the gallon instead of an 8 oz bottle.

Now mayors get to call the sweetened beverage market the debil and throw a tax on it.

69 Well, day three of rehabbing our 60 year old front door.

Got the center panels freed up so they can expand and contract.

Ran a bead of caulk around the perimeter of the recesses to keep water out.

Primer on both sides, and the first coat of semi-gloss on the interior so far.

One coat left on that side, and both coats to go on the exterior.

Ane I actually found a supply house that sells the J-hook, or J-strip interlocking zinc weatherstripping for under the bottom of the door.

And it's supposed to rain today, so no more working outside.

Progress, but slow progress.

But what is serious is how the food in this country is so laced with sugar and syrup and sawdust and crap it is no wonder people are sick. Hell even the flesh you buy at the grocery looks sickly.
I buy chicken from a nearby Amish community, who grow them the old fashioned way. recently I compared two breasts, one from the Amish and one from the chain grocery. The Amish chicken was firm, pink and smelled like chicken.
The chain meat was by comparison almost green. smaller, and kind of mealy.
It didn't smell much of anything.

87 ADJUST DOSING INTERVAL: Concurrent ingestion of dairy products (milk, yogurt) or calcium-fortified foods (i.e., cereal, orange juice) may decrease the activity of certain oral fluoroquinolone antibiotics. The mechanism is chelation of calcium and the quinolone, resulting in decreased bioavailability. In the case of orange juice, inhibition of intestinal transport mechanisms (P-glycoprotein or organic anion-transporting polypeptides) by flavones may also be involved. One study reported an average 41% decrease in maximum plasma concentrations and a 38% decrease in AUC when ciprofloxacin was given with calcium-fortified orange juice instead of water.

Well, this, of course, is the basic problem with a middle and working class revolution.

We all work. We all for the most part have meaningful lives outside of politics.

But, yes.

If there was a true middle/working class Trump rally in Washington DC-

it could easily field millions. (not fake Democrat "million-whatever" numbers)

And would scare the pants off the the Republican'ts and Dims-

and yes, the reality of that, would break their obstructionism and Trump agenda would go through fairly easily.
