Repeat until True: Islam isn't the Problem.

I'm not prone to conspiracy theories.

But it is becoming harder and harder to pretend that the current powers running the EU member states not only wouldn't mind if the ideological threats to their power structure are removed by any means possible, but are perhaps even supporting all means possible.

Geert Wilders has had to suspend his campaign movements because one of the Dutch Secret Service agents that had been assigned to his security detail was found passing his movement information to Moroccan (Islamist) criminal gangs.

In a sane world, this agent, whose name hasn't been released but whose superiors admit to having a "Moroccan background", would never have been put in such a sensitive position.

But in the world we live, law abiding people are forced into dangerous scenarios demanded by political correctness.

Wilders has been under police protection since the brutal killing of Theo van Gogh by a Muslim in 2004.

In security tests in 2010, his security detail permitted 2 out of 4 attempts at smuggling a firearm into secure areas.

And now the powers-that-be came close to participating in what for all intents looks like an assassination plot through either a bad vetting process, or outright indifference to the very life of an ideological enemy.

The only good news is that Mr. Wilders is likely going to be the next PM of the Netherlands, assuming he stays alive that long.

32 New tribalism is coming. Instead of a melting pot, aboard and here, we're going to get a multi-polar set of interest groups. And it will end in bloodshed as all tribal conflicts do.

Tribes work.

They aren't advanced, they are societaly backward, but they work. People are wired for a tribal identity. The nation state only worked so long as ethnic conflicts were absent or suppressed.

Blue pigeons peck the albinos to death. That's just the way life is. Add in Islam's clear instruction to convert or destroy and you're going to get messy.

33 Ace, think about it carefully. Saying that this happened because of "political correctness" is the nice, happy way out of this where everyone just says "oh yeah, our bad" and walks away.

In fact, this was a deliberate attempt to enable an assassination of Geert Wilders by highly sourced people in the Dutch Security services, people who want him dead because of the threat he represents to them. The only good that comes out of this story is that there are also some people in the Security Services who are on to the plotters, because they identified the plot before it could be carried out - undoubtedly the two factions inside Dutch Security know who each other are, and know exactly what was really going on here.

Just like in this country, this situation could quite easily break out into open civil violence, with armed supporters on both sides. That day keeps getting closer.

That would actually be a fantastic situation for Wilders to find himself in. He will have a huge amount of public political support, meaning he could not be ignored completely, but he can sit back and blisteringly criticize everything that happens without having to take any responsibility for anything since he isn't in charge of anything. This is the playbook that Pelosi and Co. ran against GWB and the Republicans in 2006 - 2008.

Also, even if he isn't in the government, in a parliamentary system he'll almost certainly have the ability to collapse any coalition govm't anytime one of the junior partners gets unhappy with doing whatever they're being told to do at the time. Which happens every hour on the hour in a coalition government.

Guaranteed to work, unless you think that the next couple of years in the Netherlands are going to be fun and peaceful, with no challenges to meet at all.

108 Islam is the problem... not just a "few lone wolves", not "an extreme minority of adherents". The whole "quasi religious but really just a front for will to power militarism" cult is the problem.

Its religious texts justify murder, rape, lying, theft and any other bad behavior so long as that bad behavior is practiced against non-muslims. Its highest leaders preach those same justifications.

Until we are willing to admit that to ourselves, we will never win the "war on terror" because we will have not identified the problem that needs fixed in that win.

136 I like the serial killer discussion that was going at the end of the last thread more than another "Islamo-crazy" thread.

So...

If you are going to be a serial killer, a few pointers:

1. Don't transport your victim in a vehicle registered to you. Alive or dead. Just don't.

2. Put your DNA away. As best you can. Don't leave it in warm places that will preserve it.

3. Don't be interesting. Don't select victims that people will miss, like children or housewives. Teenagers might be ok, but be careful with them. Some of them ARE missed by families, as strange as that may seem.

4. Don't send no damned manifesto to the paper or the police. Granted, they might be too dumb to decipher it, but really, if you are taunting them, that's just rude. Don't be rude.

5. Don't stay in any one place for too long, because as damned incompetent as law enforcement can be, eventually you will leave behind something that can be tied to you. Sometimes simply moving from one county to another within a metro area is all you need to keep them from figuring out that you exist.

The panel lady (wish I knew her name) destroyed her. Her points were dead on. The muslim gave some fake state about how only 10% of muslims were radical, 90% peaceful.

Panel lady first informed her the stat was a total fake, that most are in whole agreement with radicals even if they don't actively participate.

But then reminded everybody, even if the stat was real: Probably 95% of average German citizens were peaceful under Hitler. But they stood by while the Nazis slaughtered 8 million people.

Probably 90% of russians were peaceful, while the communists who ruled them under Stalin murdered 15 million people.

90% of every day chinese were peacefully standing by while Mao and his friends murdered untold millions of people.

The Religion of Peace TM shill had nothing to say afterwards.

254 Well, I do believe that is how it's intended to play out. Set the Deep State drones a task that is legal, and eminently defensible, but which is entirely alien to their nature. Allow them to fail, or to simply do nothing, and they are now guilty of insubordination or malfeasance, and become fire-able.

I've met one, and even at the time (a few months before he was arrested, he's still on Death Row) I knew instantly there was something really scary/creepy about this guy. We had a very polite conversation, it was about some work I was doing, but I was very wary the entire time, and can still remember the conversation like it was yesterday, even though for all intents and purposes it was no more than any other casual conversation.

I should clarify, when I say serial killer, this guy was a local gang leader who killed several people, including a child. He appears to have killed mainly for money and to cement his authority in his gang, but he wouldn't have done it so much if he didn't enjoy the heck out of it. I think it's even creepier to know that this guy had followers at the time who thought that what he was doing was awesome.

Dominion: Prequel to the Exorcist.

The studio hated it, spent tens of millions of dollars to get Renny Harlin to essentially remake it, and they released that one. It did not do particularly well, and they gave Schrader a few more millions to finish his version which then got a VERY limited theatrical release and a release on DVD.

I bought it blind when it first came out, and it's one of those blind buys I'm very happy with. (Best of those was Downfall, the German movie about Hitler's last days)

Imagine you're the quiet loner living in the rec room in the basement. You're lonely and off your meds. You're imagining adoring crowds and the big-time celebrity movie stars inviting you to parties. You'd be the hero of your own movie, the guy who killed Hitler.

General consensus on serial killer status: 5 victims.

And sure, you can have multiple victims all at once, which BTK did, but it's the number of total victims, spread over more than one incident, separated by time/place/episode.

So there are spree killers, like the VA Tech dude, who went from one building to another. Same incident though, so not a serial killer.

Posted by: BurtTC at February 24, 2017 02:13 PM (TOk1P)

311 2 is technically enough to make you a serial killer as long as you space them out.

It's hard to ever really know a serial killer's death toll, especially since they have multiple reasons for inflating their totals upward - it increases their infamy and gives them a potential bargaining chip to avoid the death penalty ('I killed lots more, but if you fry me you'll never find out.'). And it's pretty easy for them to lie since, well, lying and psychopathy go together quite well.

IIRC, the distinction is that mass murderers kill a group of people at one time. There may be a few events, but it's many people, all at once.

Serial killers kill a single person to a few people on multiple occasions.

There was a guy up in PA who was busted for being a major drug dealer and the cops ended up finding some (six maybe) bodies buried in his backyard. It got to the point it wasn't clear if he was a drug dealer who killed his rivals or a serial killer who dealt drugs to find victims and make some money.

I thought the other day that now would be a great time to be a serial killer in Chicago. Target gang bangers and how will anyone know you're not just part of Chicago's normal weekend.

I was gonna say, Ed is way overrated because he was so weird. Most of the bodies he had, he dug them up.

Weird and creepy, but not technically a serial killer.

Yes. But I believe he inspired more literature/movies than any other murderer. So his contribution to humanity was on balance positive.

330 "Zero Marines applied for White House detail while Obola was President."

I remember when Reagan began of his own accord to crisply return the salutes of his Marine detail, looking them squarely in the eyes, and the visible pride with which the Marines responded, to be thus acknowledged and respected by the President.

Compare this to Prince Chooming, who would vaguely and dismissively wave a hand holding a paper cup of double decaf vanilla soy latte in the general direction of the Marines, while avoiding eye contact.

Ah, the "Pee Wee" Gaskins Gambit.

333 "I liked Hardcore but I liked 8mm better"

I like the original 8mm, not that cheesy Nicholas Cage romp.

334 The BTK guy was a fascinating case. I think the authorities blew that one but hindsight is 20/20.

That is plagiarized from a Sam Kinnison joke.

336 Heck, there was that German senior EU official whose own daughter, a med
student who volunteered at a refugee center, was raped and murdered by a
refugee --- and then her parents (the mom being the EU official) raised
money for refugees at her funeral.

I'm sure they were angry with the police for figuring out who did it. "Couldn't we have had a big mystery instead?"

I nearly cry during it as we watch children kill themselves as the defenses of Berlin fall.

I've heard vets of the European part of WWII say that the youngins' put into the lines at the end of the war were lousy soldiers, but vicious little nazis. I have no shits to give for them.

338 That reminds me of a great Ray Romano line: "I'd rather be in Las Vegas 104 degrees than New York 90 degrees, you know why? Legalized prostitution. In any weather that takes the edge off."

Posted by: The Hole in the Ground

There is a problem with police corruption, but it has nothing to do with race. Why is prostitution prohibited? So police departments can fleece people for the crime of having consensual sex. The same kind of bullshit where Eric Garner was killed for the crime of selling cigarettes. There's definitely a problem, but it's a distraction to call it "racial".

Here's the weird conspiracy...did they admit all these Islamists on purpose?

Or did Barry O'Fuckhead ask them to do so?

Neither would surprise me.

342 The only good news is that Mr. Wilders is likely going to be the next PM of the Netherlands, assuming he stays alive that long.

The problem is that the Netherlands has proportional representation, and while Wilders' party has a plurality, it is far short of a majority, even with possible coalition partners.

Italy, on the other hand, has three anti-EU parties with a combined majority in polling.

Posted by: The Political Hat at February 24, 2017 03:03 PM (rUIbB)

343 Secret Service chief Erik Akerboom ... told Business News Radio that "as far as we know" Wilders' safety had not been jeopardized.

Yeah, they won't know for sure until Wilders is lying on the floor in a pool of blood.

Somebody needs to lose their job over this. But probably nobody will.
