All we want is for them to do their jobs impartially, and maybe have a little more right representation than 5% of the newsroom.

But they've got to put up their brave-boy banners for all the other conformist non-conformist goth kids to cream their Hot Topic pants over.

They deserve all the mockery they're getting, and more. I believe the market is going to push them out, if the Internet can get a handle on the convergence.

132 rats

fake news, of sorts: I happened to see this con the Clown News Netwrok while flipping through the channels: Ana Navarro:

"we all remember people at his rallies shouting 'Jew SA! Jew SA!' and looking at the media, and I think one thing has to do with the other. I think there is a correlation between his attacks on the media and a lot of this anti-Semitic feeling."

so I look it up on Google and... I'm sure she remembers it exactly as she wants to remember it, because... it was one guy at one rally (Phoenix at the end of October.)

but it fits Navarro's world view because some of the worst 'alt-right' types happened to support Trump. No point in mentioning what the Communists' CPUSA had to say: "The only way to defeat him is Hillary Clinton, the first woman in
history with a chance of being elected. The difference is abysmal.
Barack Obama did not exaggerate when he said she was more prepared to be
President than he - Obama - or her husband, Bill Clinton."

You know, I was thinking about this with respect to electoral votes. I read somewhere that every state starts with 2 (based on senatorial representation) then allocated by population, hence 1 more. DC has no senators and should only have 1 electoral vote.

They literally consider anything outside their bubble to not be legitimately America, that the Dems are the definition of legitimate government, etc. etc.

Every threat to their dominance in any sphere is an existential threat and an outrage as a result. They just can't comprehend that someone might want a world they didn't dictate the details of.

Man, I really, really hope that Keith Ellison becomes the new DNC chair. Because we all know how much Keith Ellison loves democracy.

The WP is a SJW masthead, a leading media bulldozer for the Regulated State. A Regulated State selects the winners and the losers. The winners, of course, are the State and its loyal corporate supporters - like Jeff Bezos.

The losers are entrepreneurs, iconoclasts, and innovators who threaten the State's loyal corporate supporters - like Jeff Bezos. Free and fair markets? Not DC, baby!

Hear my words that I might teach you

To the neon god they made
And the sign flashed out its warning
In the words that t was forming
And the sign said The words of the prophets
Are written on the subway walls

And whispered in the sounds of silence

It was just a stupid website that made fun of celebrities (the only way to treat celebrities, in my humble opinion). It was a way to waste about 3 minutes of my day every day.

It had never touched politics.

And then it celebrated the death of a man with a wife and small children who happened to disagree with them about policy preferences.

Hell, I'm uncomfortable celebrating the deaths of actually evil people like Osama bin Laden (I just don't see death as something to celebrate). I guess it was my first exposure to the petty kind of evil that can permeate a culture.

Mass psychosis. It's actually a thing, and we're witnessing it big time.

All the spittle-flecked screaming about "Nazis" today is coming from people who have absolutely no understanding of things like the Nuremburg Rally. (Egged on by people who are all too familiar with things like the Nuremburg Rally, more's the pity.)

669 Rush showing his shallow strategic thinking.

No need to deal with "dreamers" if all the other obvious basic immigration stuff gets done.

No, Rush, it's not a "trade-off" (obviously, there is no political or process trade-off).

And one small teeny-weeny problem with "enforce existing law!" with a noble, politically calculating (false), pragmatic (not) acceptance of "dreamer" illegality.

It's illegal. So it should be sued out of existence, unless formally enacted as a law (an amnesty, let's use the correct term) by Congress.

"Trade-off" and "compromise" are both entirely inapplicable concepts here, but they're useful reminders of how we got where we are in the first place.
