Two More Arrests Made of J20 Disruptors, Bringing Total to Three

They were caught on Project Veritas' sting videos conspiring to take illegal actions to disrupt the Inauguration, and now three of them have been arrested.

Two more anarchists exposed by Project Veritas in a series of sting videos have been arrested, James O'Keefe announced on Twitter Wednesday. That brings the total number of arrests thus far to three. Paul "Luke" Kuhn and Colin Dunn were recently arrested in addition to Scott Ryan Charney, who was arrested on January 19.

...

Luke Kuhn, of the D.C. Anti-Fascist Coalition, was heard on the video actually threatening the city government of Washington, D.C., and the police if they tried to stop them:

"The message has to be, we do not recognize the city government either," Kuhn says. "If you try to close us down we will look for your house, we will burn it. We will physically fight the police if they try to steal one of our places. We will go to war and you will lose."

Sounds like someone had his Internet Muscles on, and then found out they weren't real muscles at all.

Presidents Day Off. I don't take any vacations (I hope to, eventually) so I gotta take my federal holidays off.

Yeah I know, some of you are working today. Sad! I am with you in spirit -- but only in spirit.

I'll post here and there but it'll be skimpy and thin. Mostly open threads.

If any cobs want to post, I'll definitely check the site before stompenating you!

Trump made up a story about a terrorist attack in Sweden last Thursday night in one of his speeches over the weekend.

As reported by the fake news media, as part of the democrats campaign to convince the public he's insane and has to be removed under the 25th amendment.

What actually happened is he saw, Thursday night, a bit of a documentary on the mohammadan generated rape epidemic taking place across europe, with a particular focus on Sweden, and made reference to it when talking to a crowd, who being ox News viewers would have also seen it, and was a little careless in his wording.

Of course now he and his surrogates have an excuse to talk about the documentary while rolling out his new (in my opinion largely inasequate, but a good start) muslim ban, which will be overturned by the courts regardless of how he words it, because they stand with islam.

And yet there were a bunch of fucking retarded lefties (BIRM) on facebook yesterday with the vapors over a picture of about 5 guys (supposedly Trump supporters) with AR style rifles hanging out in the middle of town before the Trump rally.

I pointed out that these guys probably wouldn't be there with their rifles, if the black block idiots weren't attacking Trump supporters in the streets.

One idiot called me racist for that...not sure why? I think she was so stupid that she thought the term Black Block had something to do with race, because of the word black...lol.

Organizing for Action, a group founded by former President Barack Obama
and featured prominently on his new post-presidency website, is
distributing a training manual to anti-Trump activists that advises them
to bully GOP lawmakers into backing off support for repealing
ObamaCare, curbing immigration from high-risk Islamic nations and
building a border wall.

There's a difference between adversarial and monolithically partisan.

You know what could be funny? Trump's administration leaks details of a project under his watch that feeds guns to Mexico to make Mexico look more violent. There's no tracking of the guns, and it's leading to the deaths of innocents and Border Patrol agents.

Note how he refers to "our" places. That implies ownership of property. The only way you can have secure ownership of property is to have a legitimate government to back up that claim, and to issue and transfer titles. No government? No-one loves complicated bureaucracies more than an Anarchist who is in power, and no one is less competent to carry out bureaucratization other than perhaps the Italian State Fascist party.

There's a level of processing required of the issue, beginning with what I believe is a core conservative principle that a child can not consent to have consensual sex, that is required. Milo kind of steps in it, then because Brit laws about age of consent are lower than ours, that complicates the issue.

I'm sort of on the fence, not sure if it's worth an hour of my life to figure it out. I doubt CPAC is any more generous with their time then I am.

We are in an a cultural war that the prog left has nearly won through
the courts and the media, not the ballot box. That is why the progs are
trying to consolidate their victories now by intimidation and
saturation. Against such means, neither the staid speeches of
conservative politicians nor the cerebral writings of conservative
pundits can be heard or seen over the din. Thus does it take a Milo or a
Crowder to effectively communicate using humor and flamboyance. They
have to know all the facts of the pundits, have the shamelessness of a
Clinton, and a natural humorous flair to not only get their message out,
but then to defend it...

252 Infogalactic News is up.

It's a little easier on the eyes than Drudge.

https://news.infogalactic.com/

VD's blurb:

Team Infogalactic is very pleased to announce INFOGALACTIC NEWS, a Drudge-style news aggregation site for the center-right reader. Infogalactic News features 11 news headlines and 36 featured columnists and news sites for fast, one-stop news updates. The site is curated by 14 IG News editors who will provide twice-daily regular updates, plus fast-response special updates for breaking news. We hope you will be find it to be worthy of bookmarking and visiting regularly.

One important feature, from the Alt-Tech perspective, is that all news links to mainstream news articles will automatically redirect to archive sites, thereby ensuring that the news stories are not retroactively altered, as so often happens. This feature has not been fully implemented yet, but will be in place by the end of the week. Other incipient features include tickers for the Dow Jones Industrial Average, the EUR/USD exchange rate, and the price of gold. We also plan to allow people to select the font they prefer, and to provide links to Infogalactic pages related to the headline subjects.

253 Trump foolishly chose to keep some of the Obama defense wonks on board at DoD, notably Bob Work. This is the rancid fruit of that poisonous tree.
Posted by: torquewrench at February 20, 2017 01:51 PM (noWW6)

Its amazing how badly the DOD deteriorated under Obama.

Air Force, we have less flyable aircraft today because we doubled down on JUST buying the F-35, even before it was in production.

Army, changing the major emphasis from Large Battle, where we ruled Supreme, to COIN... and downsizing even while doing Combat Ops.

Navy, LCS instead of ships who can actually fight... why the hell we need a shallow water vessel at all, when a Destroyer can reach those waters with existing weapon systems??? What mission can an LCS do, that a Destroyer cannot do better?

A series of dumb choices, which lessens our combat power, instead of enhancing it...

From what I quickly perused (because yuck), it was 15 -- which could be age of consent where Milo came from.

If, as Milo himself claims, he was sexually abused at an age under consent, the left would give him a free pass for his future misdeeds.

285 Jen - Milo's rise to conservative fame was born from Gamergate. He was nearly the sole member of the press who actually listened to the Gamergaters and didn't just swallow the line that they were all just vicious sexists and neckbeards. He was more or less their first media ally. Milo recognized that video games were the latest front lines for the SJWs and saw how they were being stopped in their tracks. He has taken those lessons to heart.

Pissing off the intolerant left is how he came to be. He has refined that over the years to where he is now. He's pretty good at it, but that's all he is pretty good at. Don't expect deep conservative thinking or philosophy from him and you won't be disappointed.

they conflate two things

Milo was molested by a priest when he was 14. in his usual shocker fashion he jokes about hiw " at leadt Father Michael taught me to give good head"

(At the same time he denounces pedophilia and has exposed 3 pedophiles, including that gamergate guy)

The second thing they conflate this with his Milo talking about gay culture where a "boy" by which he means a teen over the age of consent which I think in England is 16 or 17, will get in a relationship with an older out of the closet gay man because the "boy" feels safer exploring gayness there than with someone his own age.

Regardless of whether I disapprove or not (and for the record I actually disapprove) he's talking about what goes on.
And that as someone who has been the "boy" he understands why it happens.

299 Here's Milo's FB statement, delinkified:

A note for idiots (UPDATED):

I do not support pedophilia. Period. It is a vile and disgusting crime, perhaps the very worst. There are selectively edited videos doing the rounds, as part of a co-ordinated effort to discredit me from establishment Republicans, that suggest I am soft on the subject.

If it somehow comes across (through my own sloppy phrasing or through deceptive editing) that I meant any of the ugly things alleged, let me set the record straight: I am completely disgusted by the abuse of children.

Some facts to consider:

1. I have outed THREE pedophiles in my career as a journalist. That's three more than any of my critics and a peculiar strategy for a supposed pedophile apologist.
(a) Luke Bozier, former business partner of Louise Mensch
(b) Nicholas Nyberg, anti-GamerGate activist who self-described as a pedophile and white nationalist
(c) Chris Leydon, a London photographer who has a rape trial starting March 13 thanks to my reporting.

2. I have repeatedly expressed disgust at pedophiles in my journalism.

3. I have never defended and would never defend child abusers, as my reporting history shows. The world is messy and complicated, and I recognize it as such, as this furore demonstrates. But that is a red line for any decent person.

4. The videos do not show what people say they show. I *did* joke about giving better head as a result of clerical sexual abuse committed against me when I was a teen. If I choose to deal in an edgy way on an internet livestream with a crime I was the victim of that's my prerogative. It's no different to gallows humor from AIDS sufferers.

5. National Review, whose journalists are tweeting about this, published an article defending Salon for giving a pedophile a platform.

6. I did say that there are relationships between younger men and older men that can help a young gay man escape from a lack of support or understanding at home. That's perfectly true and every gay man knows it. But I was not talking about anything illegal and I was not referring to pre-pubescent boys.

7. I said in the same "Drunken Peasants" podcast from which the footage is taken that I agree with the current age of consent.

8. I shouldn't have used the word "boy" when I talked about those relationships between older men and younger gay men. (I was talking about my own relationship when I was 17 with a man who was 29. The age of consent in the UK is 16.) That was a mistake. Gay men often use the word "boy" when they refer to consenting adults. I understand that heterosexual people might not know that, so it was a sloppy choice of words that I regret.

9. This rush to judgment from establishment conservatives who hate Trump as much as they hate me, before I have had any chance to provide context or a response, is one of the big reasons gays vote Democrat.

10. In case there is any lingering doubt, here's me, in the same interview the other footage is taken from, affirming that the current legal age of consent is about right: "And I think the law is probably about right. It's probably roughly the right age. I think it's probably about ok. But there are certainly people who are capable of giving consent at a younger age. I certainly consider myself to be one of them, people who were sexually active younger. I think it particularly happens in the gay world, by the way."

Posted by: Geronimo Stilton at February 20, 2017 02:21 PM (PXbkt)

300 AOP, here's his latest:

I am a gay man, and a child abuse victim.

I would like to restate my utter disgust at adults who sexually abuse minors. I am horrified by pedophilia and I have devoted large portions of my career as a journalist to exposing child abusers. I've outed three of them, in fact -- three more than most of my critics. And I've repeatedly expressed disgust at pedophilia in my feature and opinion writing. My professional record is very clear.

But I do understand that these videos, even though some of them are edited deceptively, paint a different picture.

I'm partly to blame. My own experiences as a victim led me to believe I could say anything I wanted to on this subject, no matter how outrageous. But I understand that my usual blend of British sarcasm, provocation and gallows humor might have come across as flippancy, a lack of care for other victims or, worse, "advocacy." I deeply regret that. People deal with things from their past in different ways.

As to some of the specific claims being made, sometimes things tumble out of your mouth on these long, late-night live-streams, when everyone is spit-balling, that are incompletely expressed or not what you intended. Nonetheless, I've reviewed the tapes that appeared last night in their proper full context and I don't believe they say what is being reported.

I do not advocate for illegal behavior. I explicitly say on the tapes that I think the current age of consent is "about right."

I do not believe sex with 13-year-olds is okay. When I mentioned the number 13, I was talking about the age I lost my own virginity.

I shouldn't have used the word "boy" -- which gay men often do to describe young men of consenting age -- instead of "young man." That was an error.

I am certainly guilty of imprecise language, which I regret.

Anyone who suggests I turn a blind eye to illegal activity or to the abuse of minors is unequivocally wrong. I am implacably opposed to the normalization of pedophilia and I will continue to report and speak accordingly.

302 It's been a few years since I kept fish, but just putting them in a shiny new tank full of fresh clean water is actually not recommended. There's a whole water cycling thing you're supposed to do to build up bacterial colonies in the tank that process the waste. There are test strips and kits to monitor nitrates and ammonia or whatever to keep tabs on when the water is properly conditioned. The good news is all you have to do is basically tap some fish food into a tank of water every few days and the bacteria sort themselves out, then you can put the fish in.

324 When I was 11 or 12, I bred betas for a while.

Very interesting.

If you just put the male and female together, the male would kill the female.

So-

I used an oil lantern glass chimney to keep the female separated from the male.

Initially, the male would try to attack the female. But, at some point the essential femaleness of the other fish would dawn on the male and at that point he would start to blow a bubble nest.

Once, he finished and his behavior changed from aggressive to more "display-like", I would pull the glass chimney from the fish bowl and allow the male and female to come together.

After some fishy flirting, the male would wrap his body around the female and squeeze.

She would release eggs and the male would release sperm. Then the male would release the female-

and she would swoon beta style and drift unconscious(?), engaged in fishy ecstasy(?) to the bottom of the bowl.

In the meantime, the male would gather up the eggs and blow them into the bubble nest.

Then, at some point the female would wake and swim up to the male, and coquettishly swim around and tap him on the tail until he squeezed her again and the whole process started all over again.

After 4-5 cycles, the male's behavior would change and he would chase the female away(apparently the females will eat the eggs if this isn't done).

So, I'd remove the female and wait for the baby betas to hatch.

Lots of fun, as I was Science Boy in those days,

and awesomely interesting as a genetics experiment too wth the different colors and fin shapes that showed up.

Why yes, I'm a nerd.

Why do you ask?

Over at PJMedia, a post - 'Enough with this Spy Game' by Michael Walsh starts out with :

If you are following twitter ...
------------------------------------------

Lost me right there pal. First words in the first sentence, if you are following twitter.

Listen, if you are writing about something on twitter, if you are following something on twitter, you are fake news, rumor, smear, and innuendo.

At the beginning of the internet age, we were told by all the professionals that they were needed to filter out the misinformation. To separate truth from fiction, to detect the falsehoods, rumor, and smear. That was what the professional journalists said about internet bloggers who didn't or wouldn't or couldn't fact check their stories and would just print anything.

In the here and now it is the professionals who don't fact check anything; who print whatever is whispered in their ear, comes to them in anonymous email, or they read on twitter.

Some anonymous somebody said that Trump 'will die in jail', and that is enough for a professional to write (and get paid to write) an internet story.

I have asked for a long time, when will the media realize that their 'product' discredits themselves personally, discredits their employer, and discredits their profession. I'm thinking that it is just like that other question I ask all the time - 'what point is too far'; how far can this crap go before people won't put up with it any longer.

Haven't yet found that point.

CPAC wouldn't allow GOProud to have a booth or whatever for a long time. Which is the only reason we ever heard about CPAC in posts here as Gabe whined about it. They finally caved one year and let them have their spot. And then once all Don't Ask Don't Tell and DOMA were defeated GOProud essentially disappeared and I don't even think they were around by the next CPAC after the one they were let in. Because they were only really about pushing the gay on Republicans.

I do think Milo has been the opposite of GOProud. His speeches have definitely been more about saying how gays should come to the GOP over the Dems and other groups as well should align with conservatives over progressives. GOProud message was "you need to change!" while Milo has been "These are the beliefs you hold that can resonate with others so talk about them."

Wish he could spend some time and fix this.

HR McMaster at NSA.

379 @364: "Name names"

Most likely Bryan Singer.

Blockbuster director who went out of his way to label himself bisexual and have a kid with a female "partner" in 2014 after stories of his notorious house parties became public knowledge.

I've got a lot of problems what he said on that video but I guess that's my SoCon side showing. His distinction between boys and young men and age of consent and the context where he believes it beneficial turns my stomach.

382 BBC did a segment "Is Infidelity ever justified?"

A feminist, Milo, a reverend, and a rabbi walk into a bar discuss. Feminist is for, of course. Milo against, on the grounds that any betrayal is psychologically traumatic IIRC.

The takeaway here is that the religious figures were so damn inclusive and milquetoast that they couldn't give good advice even when it's the product of an obvious question.

Milo is a catholic first on the topics of marriage and gay marriage.

383 The Florida massacre caused the gays to join gun clubs now this Milo is causing the gays to pay attention to politics.
We must do something to protect our rent seeking, feather bedding asses.

That is the guy who wrote the LBJ book 'Dereliction of Duty', and is the guy who wrote the new book on counter insurgency tactics.

I would guess the progressives are going to have a fit.

385 The front that Milo is fighting on is the only one that really matters-- the free speech front.

Because if you're pro-gay or not, if you lose the free speech front it doesn't matter what you believe because you aren't going to be allowed to believe it for very long.

Milo wades into the middle of the mob looking to end free speech and replace it with PC and opposes them on their own terms.

181 I suspect disinviting Milo was always the original plan.

Wonder if there is an opportunity to hold a Milo event next door. Be fun to see him outdraw whomever they would schedule at the same time. Especially if it sucked every person under 30. A warning shot about the future.

Sorry, but if you are not willing, or able, to fight for your ideas and philosophies, then they won't win.

All that is necessary for evil to succeed is that good men do nothing....

Edmund Burke...

But it needs to be updated to today...

All that is necessary for evil to succeed, is that good Men are NOT ALLOWED to do anything.

388 You might be giving Milo too much credit for "winning"--Hillary was self combusting--almost worse than Dukakis.

393 They find someone willing to fight, and decide they are icky... and so must be cast out.
Milo... Trump... Sarah Palin....

They don't want to fight or win. The people paying their way don't want them to fight or win. They want socialist globalization. Unfortunately, while the Dems can run on big government and support we are the world international socialism, the Repub establishment has to back stab and failure theater it's big government ambitions while blowing smoke up the ass of conservative voters.
