Chuck "Weepy McGee" Schumer, 2015: We Might Need a "Pause" in Syrian Refugee Admissions

As someone said on Twitter (maybe Sean Davis), the 2015 Chuck Schumer would make the 2017 Chuck Schumer cry.

Now there's a man who doesn't know the forward from reverse on a cheap Ikea drill, am I right or am I right?

50 What goes around, comes around. Posted here back in November 2016:

Ben Rhodes, Deputy National Security Advisor, was on the TV a lot yesterday, defending Obama's Syrian refugee policy including by making claims about how well the vetting gets done.

This is belied by recent comments made by James Comey, FBI Director, and common sense.

Before joining the White House, Ben Rhodes had no particular relevant experience for his job except for a degree in creative writing and being the brother of David Rhodes, President of CBS News.

Agreed. She's an appointee and serves "at the pleasure". Time to make an example. I don't care if we end up with the Justice Department janitor keeping the seat warm until Sessions gets there. It is absolutely inexcusable for a Presidential appointee to refuse (and further instruct an agency to refuse) to enforce a lawful order.

There isn't a legal argument against. Only a political one. Enough with this bullshit. Fire her. No pension. Once Sessions gets in, bring her up on charges and lock her bitch as up.

The acting Attorney General Sally Yates has told Justice Department lawyers not to make legal arguments defending President Donald Trump's executive order on immigration and refugees, according to sources familiar with the order.

The case is a slam dunk win for the DOJ and she's telling them not to defend it? When Sessions gets confirmed there needs to be a serious blood letting at the DOJ.

Courts do not get to do reviews of US refugee or immigration policy at any given moment.

Apart from the individual cases of actual people actually physically present in the US, I cannot imagine any way any court would have a say. And even then, they should have almost nothing to say.

Hope it's true about the faithless acting AG.

193 I'm beginning to think Tulsi Gabbard went to Syria on the behest of President Trump.

Remember she met with him some time ago when he was talking to people for positions.

Methinks Donald has broken out the 11th dimensional chess board.

Assad is staying not the least of which because the Russians want him there but also because he is the best choice out of a long list of really nasty people.

All those rebel groups are lunatics. All of them. They've all been filled to the brim with jihadis and they move back and forth with impunity.

Totally agree.

e.g. the shit Schumer is pulling will prove a loser. The temporary travel ban is just common sense, and a large majority of Americans agree, despite MSM spin.

e.g., The acting AG's dereliction is mutiny, won't have long-term effect and gives Sessions the rationale for going Medieval on the DOJ's ass. There are still several DOJ high-level people who have exposure over how Hillary was handled.
