"Queer Activist" Arrested for Stabbing a Woman to Death; Local Paper Dutifully Rewrites Article To Employ His "Preferred Pronoun," "They"

Apparently a friend of the alleged murderer contacted the paper to protest that the alleged killer (who was also charged with injuring another person in an attack) did not employ his actual biologically-correct pronoun "he," but preferred the nonsensical plural pronoun "they."

The local paper decided that "misgendering" an accused murderer was just a crime too far and rewrote the story using the pronoun "they" for this dude.

Murder shmurder, but commit an Assault by Pronoun and all of society will rise up to put that evil down.

By the way:

Gomez has worked at the Alliance for Climate Education, a climate alarmist activist group. In 2014, he spoke at a climate event with Governor Jerry Brown, billionaire climate change activist Tom Steyer, and University of California system President Janet Napolitano, former governor of Arizona and Homeland Security secretary under President Obama.

39 OK, OT but for the thread two down (idiot libtard fearing his plumber knows he's Jewish).

Properly sanitized, an even better story.

Friend's mother (Jewish) got out of Nazi Germany late (1937, I think), as a young girl. Of course much of her extended family did not, and was murdered by the Nazi filth or their collaborators.

So following the election in November, this woman's moonbat daughter mentions to her, in re the upcoming hanukah season .... that she might not want to put up a menorah or any other decorations/symbols visible outside the house. Because, you know, um, Trump was elected. And stuff. Or something.

Just savor it. A Jewish woman who knows the Horst Wessel Song because she heard it being sung by brownshirts marching by her house (real brownshirts, the actual Nazi Germany), living comfortably most of her life in a nice suburb of a major US city with a large Jewish population, is "warned" by her daughter about displaying Jewish seasonal symbols because ..... Trump was elected.

He's pretty much wrecked "Dr Who," too, making it unwatchable since 2010 in the name of "progressive" posturing.

For example, the Master was a perfectly good "Dr Who" villain. Moffatt essentially turned him into a transsexual for purposes of virtue signalling. "Missy" is a lame version of the character, no matter how many SJW science fiction bloggers pretend otherwise.

And once the global warming nuts came around and started shutting down all those plants the chaos would be epic.

In fact every single climate action group could do the same. Millions of solar panels would be purchased and given away. They could even focus this charitable effort on the poor - people who couldn't afford to put them up themselves. Climate justice.

In this way they could affect real change, all without having to rely on a top down push with laws and bureaucrats and government policies....

It ain't the type of voltage. It ain't the power.

It's the current.

And the amount of it is very scary small. But current doesn't creep around like a sniper. It's dependant on the amount of voltage that can push it. And also your amount of resistance. Which changes a friggin' ton.

Unless it never touches you - but explodes in a cloud instead. And burns you as well as slinging shrapnel your way. Which it can. And does. Often.

IIRC, as little as 100 ma through the heart can be fatal. Paradoxically, larger currents can be less lethal because they stop the heart, so a swift blow to the chest can restart it if it's basically healthy.

OTOH (again IIRC) smaller amperages tend to jolt the heart into fibrillation.

Nope ... you got it. Currents that small can kill you. Large currents can be survived. Currents in between can detonate limbs and cook skin and make you wish you died if you didn't.

Once current gets into the body ... all bets are off.

Electrocution ... death by electric shock ... is the biggest killer at home. Death by Arc Flash ... the explosion caused by a fault-induced failure of electrical equipment ... is the biggest killer at work.

345 Electrocution depends on the path the current takes. It's chaotic and wildly unpredictable. The trigger for GFCIs, the so-called class A for people protection has a maxium of 6mA, with most common devices being set at about 5mA

10mA through the heart can kill.

That said, you'll see wild variation. Two men around here that I knew somewhat have been killed by high voltage distribution lines, 7200V to ground.

It would be a long story to describe each one, but on didn't have a mark on him, and it took an investigation to confirm electrocution was the cause of death. The second one, well, the coroner was putting the remains in 5 gallon buckets. He fried hard, causing the water in his body to boil and tissue burns and all that. I think he sort of exploded and scattered tissue all over the place.

The only thing Isis might be a classical name for is a dog.

I get a kick out of the gibberish names. They're pretty funny. So totally unoriginal ... they remind me of hippies - all being "unconformist" the same exact way.

It's really pathetic, though, that so many parents use their kids' names as toys for themselves. It used to be that a child's name was a place for respect and honor to be recognized.

DC will kill you dead, too, if you get enough of it. In fact, it may be worse, In some cases, people shocked by DC are paralyzed, and unable to let go of the conductor, whereas AC may cause one to twitch, and spontaneously break the connection.

You are a magnum caliber assault rifle, and thus evil.

573 DC will kill you as dead as anything. However, there are a number of measures that one can say AC (of low frequency, in the typical 50 or 60Hz range we all use it for power) is more dangerous at a given current level.

Contrary to popular belief, the "let-go" threshold is much higher for DC than low frequency AC. How this is all measured has a lot to do with it, and it varies, but DC let-go values are about 4x AC.

The ventricular fibrillation threshold is also a good bit higher for DC.

There is also much complication in how a current disrupts the muscles. Changes in current have some additional effect. And there is more than one effect and there are differences between voluntary and involuntary muscles.

For example, tasers use a current waveform optimized to immobilize someone but be the least dangerous to the heart muscle.

183 Electric chairs were DC.
I believe that some states allow the "dead man walking" his choice - chair, needle, etc - or used to, but that may be out of fashion now.

Mitchell Rupp (Death Row-WaSt) ate his way off the hangmans weight chart and avoided the rope. Which was his choice.
Heaven forbid he be executed by the rope guillotine.

576 "Khmer Rouge Cambodia is not a good look for the USA."

Having been there a couple of years after the Viets kicked out the KR, I would say that you do NOT EVER want to see socialism in its "pure" form in action, especially in your own country.

Unfortunately, the US may well go through such a time in the foreseeable future. It will not be pretty.
