Did Obama Call Hillary to Tell Her to Concede to Trump?

Yes, says an upcoming book.

No, says Clinton spokesliar Robby Mook.

Who to believe, who to believe.

16 2 What's up with Penn.? Why are they still counting?

Local voters who requested precinct recounts in Allegheny County and a couple of other counties are still on-going. Stein filed in Federal Court this morning for a recount of the state after dropping her State court request (probably bc she knew she would lose.) After the debacle in MI, not sure the fix to find a federal judge to support her claim that not providing a state-wide recount is "un-constitional" hasn't been fulfilled.

18 Wouldn't surprise me if he had, given Obama's inflated sense of his own importance, and his belief that he's smarter and better than everybody else.

But even if he did, Hillary had no obligation to do what he said. It was her decision, and she made it.

So who cares?

35 I have zero confidence that the Bill Clinton appointed judge in Philly will do the right thing and throw out Stein's request.

I'd like to think it is doubtful that a judge would declare a statewide election where the Dem SoS has said publicly there is no evidence of fraud, tampering, or electronic intrusion, "unconstitutional" but I've read RBG's SCOTUS opinions.

Note: The Obama appointed judge in Michigan ordering the recount went with "The fundamental right invoked by plaintiffs -- the right to vote, and to have that vote conducted fairly and counted accurately -- is the bedrock of our nation" despite no evidence of fraud being presented.

Lovely.

96 Lawyers in MI should use the court's decision as precedent and file a lawsuit alleging that illegal aliens are voting in MI and disenfranchising legal MI voters.

After all, the judge has now established that no actual evidence of any voting fraud is necessary -- the allegation alone is sufficient to enable a lawsuit to proceed and be used as a fishing expedition.

If mere allegations are good enough for the Dims' purposes, they should be good enough for everybody else's.

RE: Zero & Japanese leader at Pearl

This had been under discussion for some time. Abe suggested that Zero & he visit both Hiroshima & Pearl together.

My thought is that, that ticket isn't evenly balanced. A more equitable symbolic ticket would be Hiroshima & Harbin, China-- the location where Unit 591 did a lot of its atrocities.

Zero never was much of a negotiator. As bad wartime behavior by the Japanese, Pearl would rate a "one" & Harbin a "none."

This is why Trump so badly needed to win this election, if nothing else just for judicial nominations.

We saw what happened with Florida, 4 of the liberal judges were just fine with vote counting until Al Gore won or there was a Civil War.

I'm sure if this goes to the SC, it will probably be deadlocked until Trump appoints a new SC judge.

Real aims: delegitimizing, controversy, mobilizing the base, *maybe* throwing to the House as a long shot. Actually disenfranchising voters in that case, while claiming that they are merely being sure to enfranchise. 2+2 = 5.

Claimed aims: "That filthy Trump stole the election somehow, and I, Jill Stein, independent and pure-hearted (did I mention independent) will save you all! First, you will have to buy these magic beans."

With Democrats there's so much misinformation and FUD SPREAD BY DEMOCRATS it's bloody impossible to know what's actually going on. They tell different versions of events using words that mean whatever they want them to mean at that particular time.

Brewer has no problems getting Michigan to do what the Democratic Party and Hillary Clinton want them to do. If I were the taxpayers in these states I would be pretty pissed off.

I put a short-shift kit in my old Jetta, but even though the throw was a lot shorter, you could tell it needed a little more force because it just moved the pivot point. That shifter on the MR2 though... just short and light.

360 Yep, as I said Kinley, senior war criminals. That wouldn't have included Ishii, who while obviously involved in heinous behavior was not senior, and was exempted for our own purposes. Same thing on the German side - many many many military officers and a few civilians with great culpability in enormous war crimes were either not prosecuted, or given fairly light prison terms (later commuted in many cases).

Get in ace's time machine, go back to 1945, and re-run everything your way - dying to see how much differently you'd do it. We could have spent 3 decades documenting and prosecuting German and Japanese (and some other) war crimes down to the lowest levels. We obviously couldn't do that (and not just because of the Cold War brewing).

Many of the lower-level people were dealt with, piece-meal, as they came to public attention (think former camp guards outed and then deported from the US and Canada), over the years. And within Germany itself quite a few lower-level people were dealt with by their own courts from the 50s onwards.

Not saying it's all completely morally satisfying, but my original comment stands.

But "the list" is not really something I've given much thought to. The Opera House is really only a romantic fantasy that will be forever beyond me. My other wish is to visit Egypt and place my hand on the Sphinx, which, again, will most likely never happen.

There was a lovely cartoon strip called Cul De Sac which ended about a year or two ago because the artist had Parkinson's. One of his characters, mulling over his life and how he always wanted to be somewhere else or sometime else but never where he was said, "I wish I could be happy whenever it's now." If I have a bucket list, then that's it.

Posted by: gracepc at December 05, 2016 12:22 PM (OU4q6

This isn't accurate. Michigan has a Board of Canvassers that certifies elections after all canvassing has been completed post election. That Board was created in 1850 and is comprised of two democrats and two republicans appt. by the governor with the consent of the Senate.. The BOD was deadlocked regarding Steins request for a recount. I'm not sure what happened next, but then Stein started looking for a state judge to order the recount. Our republican AG filed a motion to block a recount in the State Supreme Court, so Stein's lawyer team funded by the Democrats and Soros filed a request with a Federal judge, who singularly ordered the recount. He didn't wait for the State Supreme court to rule, he simply decided he had jurisdiction since it involved a federal election, Stein had standing because she was a federal candidate, Michigan's recount laws, rules and the fact that the Canvassing board had already certified the electors was immaterial and now pending an appeal, the State is forced to recount votes.

Remember, the south and states rights lost the civil war. The Feds have been chipping away at Federalism for over a century, this is another demonstration of that.

Yes a lot of residents of Michigan on both sides of the aisle are pissed about this. But we now have a Federal order, just like we had an entire duly voted on amendment to our constitution thrown out because a Federal judge felt sorry for his lesbian clerk who cried to him that she wasn't allowed to adopt a pet child because she wasn't legally married. So he threw out our amendment which our AG appealed all the way to the SC. And we know how that went.

I'm not sure if the AG has filed a federal appeal. Since time is of the essence, if that appeal isn't heard immediately, then the recount will continue.

This is why Article V conventions have been approved by numerous state legislatures and more legislatures have pending approval.
