CNN President Jeff Zucker is actively perusing FOX star Megyn Kelly to anchor 8 or 9 PM on his network, the DRUDGE REPORT has learned. And Kelly might just say, YES! "He is moving the Himalayan mountains to get her," a top insider explains. "But they are tripped up on money. He simply can't pay her the $20 million a year FOX has on the table."1, they can have her. Dead to me. Tired of her wasting Tucker Carlson's timeslot. 2, I note this "insider" isn't identified as being in the CNN camp. That is, the reportage here by Drudge seems deliberately obscure as to who, precisely, is leaking this. I personally suspect it's Megyn Kelly, or her "camp," if she has a camp. Because, 3, MeAgain Kelly is very vain and seems stung that she's not been in more demand than she actually has been. It seems a very MeAgain move to brag on the claim that everyone desperately wants her. Anyway, I hope she goes. I suspect she won't. Comments(Jump to bottom of comments)1

Posted by: Tami at December 01, 2016 08:14 PM (Enq6K) It really is. I think Trump may fundamentally change American politics. Heretofore a prospective Presidential candidate had to be either a career politician (i.e., lawyer) or in a few cases, a successful general. For the first time, a successful businessman has been elected. That alone could change American politics henceforth. Posted by: Deplorable Jay Guevara at December 01, 2016 08:18 PM (SRKgf) 67
During the primaries, I supported Trump because I honestly believed he had the best chance of winning.
At first it was more strategic than anything. I knew he had lots of negatives, and maybe wasn't all that conservative or knowledgeable about the Constitution. But as the campaign went on, I came to truly like him more and more. It is really looking like he is exactly the President we need at this point in time. He laid out his vision tonight, in his Trumpian fashion (Don Rickles + Thurston Howell + yes, Reagan).
Note his criticism of identify politics, the SJWism that sees everything in terms of race, sex -- the oppressed vs oppressor shit. He said no more to that, focus on what unites us, not divides us. He gets it. The coarse and vulgar man gets it. And I loved his mocking of those criticizing his "billionaire" cabinet appointment, like for Treasury. "He knows how to make money! I want a guy that knows how to make a money!" Of course. Note his use of "killer". He wants killers in his cabinet. "Killer" is Trump's highest praise for someone. And he digs killer woman, I was reading. No seriously, he digs women to work for him who are "killers" as he defines it. Why are you talking about the Bush years when we were talking about the Reagan years? There was lots of regulations cut under Bush. There were the Bush tax cuts. Things did get done but the comparison was to the Reagan years. The world is much different than it was under Bush. We've had 8 years of Obama failure and the country by and large hates what he's done. Trump has a great opportunity, a better one than any Republican has had in decades.
The country has more elected Republicans at all levels since the 1920s. I hope he does get a lot of the things he wants to get done save for some of his trade strategies. And he will have a very compliant Congress of his Party. That's the point. The anchors on Fox are "stars" because they are on Fox. If they go to another network, they just become another anchor there.
CNN and MSNBC should have learned that getting anchors from Fox doesn't mean you will get their audience. Back in my radio days, the station I was at was the big dog in the market, and we used to lose DJ's to our competitors all the time. They all said they were going to take us on and take us down, usually they were out of the market or out of radio within 3 years failing to even make a dent. We were well onto our way to Britain's trade unions problem. Ronaldus Magnus, who'd just been elected, fired EVERY FUCKING MEMBER OF THE UNION. His popularity skyrocketed.
