Of Course: OSU Jihadi Attacker Too "Scared" to Practice Islam Openly

Due to all the non-Muslims attacking him with vehicles and knives, I'm sure.

A commenter linked this earlier -- in a student newspaper (I guess), the crazed attacker described himself as being too frightened to worship openly.

Social Justice Warrioring fear-mongering and racism lead directly to murder -- not that the media or other institutions that mediate our national dialogue will ever notice that.

What's a few cops' lives or a few students' lives compared to the illusory fear SJWs have been taught to feel for all the Inferior Others surrounding them?

18 How redonkulus.

There are better than 30,000 Somalis in Columbus.

And he feels threatened? How and by whom?

I see Muslims walking around all the time in their festive garb (well, the women), and nobody is harassing them.

What a freak. And this will be the meme. We are making them scared.

These same people (Somalis) threatened (jokingly, I guess) my neighbor (students in school) who is a public school English teacher, that she was a white Christian and was going to Hell because she wasn't a Muslim.

Whatever.

"Over these past few days, we have heard deeply disturbing reports of verbal assaults on students and others at a wide range of institutions, from middle schools to universities across the country, including our own campus," Drake wrote in a letter also signed by nine other OSU leaders.

97 If Aztec worshippers would refrain from hacking heads off and human sacrifice, they could live in America and conduct their worship just fine. There are religious sects in southwestern USA that use peyote in their ceremonies: allowed by the US government.

Its what you do and how that makes the difference, not just the religion. If Muslims could restrain themselves from raping children, killing people, beating their wives, marrying several women, and so on, they're more than welcome.

If they insist that is an inseparable part of their religion, then they are not. There are hellish places around the world they can live instead.

101 Just recalling here how the left frantically grabbed for "PTSD" as a rationale for Nidal Hasan's lethal jihadi terror rampage at Fort Hood.

'Cause, like, doesn't everyone who's been in combat have that, amirite?

And the left do dearly love to medicalize bad behavior to allow them to then discreetly excuse it away. Why, if only proper treatments had been offered on a timely basis! Society is to blame!

It was then pointed out that Hasan (a) was not in combat arms, and (b) hadn't ever deployed. Where'd he have picked up PTSD in a cushy low-stress medical officer's billet Stateside?

Ah, said the left, but he was *around* soldiers who had been shot at in the sandbox and who must perforce have had PTSD. So he got it from them! QED.

Really, the left never got the Nobel Prize for Medicine that this insight demanded. A psychiatric condition being transmitted by, one must imagine, door handles and toilet seats. That's surely a first.

120 In Andalusia - the supposed tolerant flower of Islam - publicly claiming belief in the Trinity or the divinity of Christ was a capital offense.

From an Islam perspective, not being able to oppress those that don't follow your religion is oppression in and of itself - you can see this throughout Islam writings, including the Koran and the hadiths.

So on the one hand this Jihadi is actually correct, on the other hand this is why Islam is such a threat everywhere it appears.

Yeah that... that bothers me. Tribal people in Africa, I know you're basically living in an area with plenty of food and water and rarely inclement weather but... seriously? They lack event the most primitive survival skills beyond what they need for an average day in a nice area.

"How do you get water from the ground?"

"*points to the stream*"

"What if it dries up?"

An Ohio State University student posted a rant shortly before he plowed a car into a campus crowd and stabbed people with a butcher knife in an ambush that ended when a police officer shot him dead, a law enforcement official said.

Abdul Razak Ali Artan, 18, wrote on what appears to be his Facebook page that he had reached a "boiling point," made a reference to "lone wolf attacks" and cited radical cleric Anwar al-Awlaki.

"America! Stop interfering with other countries, especially Muslim Ummah [community]. We are not weak. We are not weak, remember that," the post said.

Officials cautioned that they have not determined a motive for the ambush. A senior law enforcement official told NBC News that investigators are trying to determine whether Artan had personal problems or something else that might have pushed him over the edge.

190 Prior to Islam, Arabs were know for trade, since they were on some important trade routes, and brigandage, since they likes to raid said trade routes.

To their north where the world's premier civilized powers - Christian Byzantium and Zoroastrian Persia. Both were centers of art, math, and science.

United by Muhammed, the brigands of Arabia came out of the desert killing and looting as they had before, but on a greater scale.

But this time Byzantium and Persia were exhausted from a long brutal war with each other.

The now Muslims found themselves with an empire full of scholars, wealth, and art...and mostly turned it into a brutal war mongering state constantly seeking slaves and booty.

They didn't however burn all the books, nor did they kill all of the scholars.

And this is how they "discovered" science.

Sikhs are regularly mistaken for Muslims and sometimes ill treated for that. They are odd looking (turban and fantastic whiskers) and usually of Indian origin, so they stand out which means they are stared at and commented on.

Never, ever do you hear a story of some Sikh that went nuts which is a damn good thing because they are the Warriors of God who kick much ass in a fight, trained for it from youth. They are always armed everywhere they go.

Beard is groomed and fuckin' awesome: Sikh
Beard is dirty and sprouting like crabgrass on his chin: mohammedan

Turban is clean, neat and fuckin' awesome: Sikh
Turban looks like dirty laundry piled on his head: mohammedan

Knife is on his belt, in a sheath that's fuckin' awesome: Sikh
Knife is in his hand, rusty and cheap as he's screaming about snack bars: mohammedan

And now it's made part of the city really weird.

Some have assimilated, a lot have really not. My next door neighbors are Chinese, and they are nice, quiet friendly people. They don't cause trouble. Why?
In my old neighborhood, there were Indians, West Africans, my boss (who was from Iraq), the Russians that lived behind me, the Chinese family across the street, and on and on. There was never any trouble. Everyone felt safe.

These people invite it because of their arrogant attitude. They enjoy flouting their differences. Some are very nice and civil, some are shitheads.

I didn't read the article and not going to, so what is meant by "openly?"

I had many Muslim friends in Dearborn for a number of years and the only "open" examples of their religion was women in hijabs and maybe the call to prayer.

IIRC you typically don't just whip out your prayer blanket wherever you're at when it's time to pray. You go find a quiet spot where you can commune with God.

So just more bullshit regardless of what the article says.

255 124 Sikhs are regularly mistaken for Muslims and sometimes ill treated for that.

Funny, that.

I lived in a relatively cheap apartment complex in Columbus, Ohio - all races, many India Indians.

Oh - to react to a comment on Sunday's gun thread (I think), the South Korean M1s (Garands and carbines) are, I think mostly owned by the ROK. Not items that would be "returned" to the US.

CMP gets its firearms from the DOD, when they take possession of guns sent overseas a long time ago, as part of govt-govt assistance. Don't think the ROK ones fall in that category.

Still doesn't mean they can't be *sold* to importers and enter our market (I assume this will happen with the entrumpennation).

This is why we must protect them from themselves, and immediately cease all Muslim immigration. For if we allow Muslims to come here, it will tempt terrorists to infiltrate their ranks and then they risk ending up dead, like this dear, sweet lad.

340 Weasel I had a puzzling experience, one particular test load of 30-06 for the M1 (150g projectile, 47.5g of TAC) produced the tightest "group" I can recall ever having with any ammo/firearm (@ 100yds).

So I loaded up 24 more to confirm, yet had "meh" results. Perfectly adequate for me - I just load blasting ammo and seek only normal service rifle accuracy. Yet puzzling.

Sure you'll do fine finding a recipe that works. I enjoy reloading, but am too lazy to do that much experimentation, as my standard is "good enough" when it comes to accuracy.

For the new religion, I'd think the factories that manufacture guns and ammo would have to be the most holy sites....

Then the booze distilleries....

After those, we could probably start designating the best liquor stores, strip clubs, dog tracks, etc as the most holiest sites.

We'd probably also want some extra special holy sites, like the fishing hole where our first rabbit martyr, (may booze and broads bless him in the afterlife), tried to take out Jimmy Carter.

The Day newspaper reports that a submarine from the Naval Submarine Base in Groton will transport the cremated remains of Navy Capt. Paul Bud Rogers to the area where the USS Thresher sank in 1963. Navy officials declined to release the burial date.

Rogers, from Wernersville, Pennsylvania, died last year at the age of 86. He was supposed to be on the Thresher on the day it sank, but was replaced at the last minute by someone with more experience.

All 129 men aboard the sub died. Navy officials have blamed a leak in the subs engine room.

Me? Never happen.

Because of my life, I've known several dozen (literally, counting the ones who've died off), and all of them are perfectly OK (including the one I told to go fuck himself, who in the event turned out to be quite a fan of mine nevertheless, or my career would have died a-borning, but that's another story). For example, I know personally two of this year's three Nobel Laureates in chemistry. One tried to recruit me to his university back when. I've been out drinking with the other one. The third one I don't know from Adam.

Laymen worship Nobel Laureates as gods. Scientists don't accord them any more status than MLB players would the guy who was selected as MVP that year. Respect? Sure. Adulation? No. We all know there were a dozen or more guys who could have been chosen. Smith is this year's MVP, Jones could be next year's, Blogg could be MVP for the year after that.

And because of that, Nobel Laureates (in serious subjects) don't lord it over others, because they'll be laughed at, and they know it. Even if they're into mirror-kissing, they best hide it, or risk ridicule.

And there are bonfires in the State Departmen parking lot:

They stayed at the Catholic Charities of Dallas, where C.E.O. Dave Woodyard says the Somali immigrants arrived from Pakistan at D/FW International Airport.

"He came in as a refugee sponsored by the state department and vetted by them. The family stayed here 23 days before migrating to Ohio," says Woodyard.

He says the organization closed their file on June 28, 2014 when the family left.

480 Jane that's awful about your youth minister/gift.

I've toyed with giving "donation has been made in your name" things to certain pathetically LIV morally narcissistic NPR-besotted family members - with the donation being to the Second Amendment Foundation or NRA. These people routinely give stupid things like this at Christmas, the only time for fun small gifts to be in the mix.

But per the usual pattern we all know, I just smile and continue to come up with unique or perfect small gifts, and fake a smile when I open the card thanking me for my donation to Cow International or whatever TF it is.

I recommend CMP member Garand owners who don't reload (or who do, or plan to) buy the HXP from CMP, or the Prvi new production. BTW, SGAmmo has the best price on that, when they have it (yesterday SportsmansGuide had it for about $12 more than SGAmmo, per 500 round can, FYI).

Well, you don't Because they're all No Good. There's always something about them.

There is no good reason for a youth minister to even exist.
Posted by: Soothsayer at November 28, 2016 09:40 PM (kjbSf)

I was raised in the Methodist church... sand in the choir... altar boy... whole smear...

Suddenly, when I was about 12... My Dad stopped going to church... and us boys didn't have to go anymore either (although Mom still went)...

I found out many years later when I was an adult, that the 'Youth Pastor' who had run the youth program... was making a play for the young boys in it...

The Church transferred him out of the country, before charges could be filed...

It was 25 years before my Father started to go to church again...

558 We had a great youth minister several years ago. Came out of the Army, happily married, great sense of humor. The youth loved him, the parents loved him, the geezers in the church leadership weren't fans. So he left. And so did the youth and most of the families.

He and our son still stay in touch and are friends.

584 Youth ministers come in both genders. Their gift may not be in working with kids-teens, but they often get sloted into that because that's what the church needs-the want to reach out to young people, when the student may prefer teaching Bible study to adults or preaching. However, the thought is "They're young and enthusiastic"-let's hire them. And of course wanting to be with teens does not mean you're a chid molester. It may mean that you like the energy of kids or enjoy taking them on mission trips or do Christian drama with kids. It doesn't not mean that you're a child molester because you want to work with kids.

585 The problem is Islam. Not "extremism", not "radical Islam"--its Islam. Any fake-ass "religion" that tells its followers that they have a divine right to rule the earthly realm is a mantra that deserves public scorn, and accountability for those who defend it. Fuck them. Fuck them all. 9/11 wasn't the first attack of this country by their rabid adherents, but it should have been the LAST attack perpetrated without our betters waking the hell up, and urging the American people to wake the hell up as well.

The defenders of Islam have a LOT to answer for. I hope they are eventually held accountable for their naivette....if it truly was that. If it wasn't naivete...then it amounts to conspiracy...and I hope they pay the full price for that.
