As Anti-Trump Violence Perpetrated By Hillary/Obama/Soros Minions Spreads Across America, Media Blesses It and Encourages It With Their Silence and Even Support

Question:

Is it true that "dark rhetoric" encourages violence?

I think it might be true. I'm not convinced it's true, but I'm sensitive enough to the possibility that it may be true that I'm cautious about writing things that might stir dark hearts to perform dark deeds.

But I know who definitely thinks it's true: the media, which is always on vigilant patrol about "dark rhetoric emanating from rightwing quarters" and said dark rhetoric's ability to spark genuine political violence.

Well, the political left is right now calling for a lot of violence.

Last night, CNN interviewed a protester who explicitly called for violence -- people will have to die for there to be real change, she avowed. And CNN didn't seem particularly fussed by it.

"If we don't fight, who is going to fight for us? People had to die for your freedom where we’re at today. We can’t just do rallies, we have to fight back," said Lily, a Latina woman from Los Angeles.

"There will be casualties on both sides. There will be, because people have to die to make a change in this world," she continued.

This call for violence -- political murder and assassination -- went out over CNN's bandwidth. Seems to me that as they were the conveyor of the call to assassination, they have a moral duty to repudiate it -- but I do not see this story on their front page, nor in politics, nor any mention in Opinion, where I'd expect CNN to sternly warn people from this kind of "dark rhetoric."

If it's there, I don't see it. I did see a headline on "Trump's tax trick, explained," so you can tell, they're really up-to-the-minute on breaking news.

So which is it, media -- is hateful, violent rhetoric something to be sternly vigilant about, or is a little exhortation to murder just fine and dandy if you want to kill the right people for the right reasons?

Think this has no effect? Think again. In another story the media is embargoing, an older man was dragged from his car and beaten by a mob which shouted "He voted for Trump!" as he was subject to a beat down from multiple people attacking him in wolfpack style, one attacks while the other waits for his turn.

Is this just some Dark Rhetoric by Conservatives Making up Racist Stories?

Nope! It's all on dramatic videotape. The perps videotaped themselves doing it.

They seem to steal his car at the end too, but we don't see them drive it away, because the video ends there.

So: which is it, media?

I know #WhiteLivesMatter is a politically incorrect thing to say, but are you really now standing behind the actual declaration that white lives don't matter?

If so, then say so: If it be war, then let it be a declared war, so that both sides know the agreed-upon Rules of Engagement.

Please: Watch language in comments. I know this story is infuriating but never forget their violence is speech but your speech is violence.

And remember, there are bad people and criminals of all races. Race is not the issue here -- except indirectly, in that the Orwellian culture promoted by the media is single-mindedly set to detect and shame conservative misbehavior, while pretending away any bad actions committed by a member of the Obama/Clinton Coalition.

Either the rules bind all or the rules bind none.

The media, more than any institution in America, is undermining and actually now destroying the very fabric of American political stability.

No one is willing to be the last person to take up violence. The last person to take up violence usually winds up dead or at least bleeding on the street.

By not condemning violence on all sides, the media is doing its level best to promote violence by all sides.

It was everywhere for a while, I think word got out. I think it had an impact. So will this stuff.

But people have been pushed and pushed and we're trying really hard to keep it under control and work within the system. We're trying to be constructive and work to fix things.

There is, however, a point at which people will not be pushed any further. That video shows the guy being kicked and punched by like 5 people and he gets up to walk away mostly unharmed. If that's the game they're bringing, its not going to end well for them should people get pushed over the edge.

That's not the way they see it Ace.
They expect that the embargo on truth will continue to keep the deplorables from understanding what is really happening, and that will allow the actual violence to continue in one direction and one direction only.

They'll still be "mostly peaceful", and that should be good enough for us. After all, we're uneducated.

STAFFORD, Texas (FOX 26) - A student at Stafford Elementary is recovering Wednesday after being beaten by several of his classmates.

He says it was during a mock election when the class was asked, “Who voted for Donald Trump?”

“This is America,” said Mary Lemmon, the mother of the student beaten. “Everyone has the right to their own opinion, and they shouldn’t be beat up for it.”

But just a day after Donald Trump was elected President, that’s exactly what happened to her son at Stafford Elementary School.

“These boys decided to ask the classroom, ‘Who voted for Donald Trump?’ And then I said, ‘I did.’ And then they come over here and jerked me out of my seat,” said the student. “Before I could get up they started kicking me and punching me.”

I have no idea how he actually treats them, but I'm sure that they appreciated his shout out during his victory address.

I get the feeling that Trump is the kind of guy who treats everyone around him with some kind of thin level of respect and interest. He also does seem to have a genuine appreciation for the people of the armed forces.

Quick story. When I saw him in South Carolina during the primary, after his hour long address, I got into the line for autographs (got it, btw). A few people down from me was a disabled veteran in a wheelchair. Not many cameras or anything, but when Trump got to the guy, Trump made every effort to give him, not only the autograph he wanted, but also his attention.

It was a really sweet moment.

finally got that CCW license. Maybe it's time for me to break down and
get that legal insurance thing I've heard of. I guess it works like
this: You pay some nominal fee, like $100 a year or something; and if
you're ever involved in a defensive shooting, they'll serve as your
legal counsel.

Maybe I'll talk to the company that insures my
house, and see if I can get personal liability insurance too (or if I
already have it), for such a situation. My one big concern: Assholes
like this drag me out of my car, I kill 5 or 6 of them, and then their
heirs sue me for $100 million and ruin me and my family financially.
That would suck.

Heh.

First, let's question the concept of "outcome" here. Many of these chuckleheads can't see outcomes beyond their own noses.

So... in the immortal words of Elizabeth Kubler Elf, there's a process to grief: Denial, Anger, Depression, Bargaining, and Acceptance.

Not necessarily in that order, and disruptions in the process can keep one from reaching Acceptance. These silly fools are still in the denial/anger stages. We'll see if/when it gets beyond that.

Trump made a point of thanking the Secret Service during his acceptance speech.

As he was walking out, you could see the agents around him and holy hell you talk about people who looked ready to kick all the ass in a heartbeat.

That has to be stressful on a level I can't imagine, protecting the new President as he wades into a crowd of people, now with all of them holding something in their hands and pointing it at him.

Oh oh oh I've been meaning to blather about this. During Trump's victory speech, he made a point to identify and thank by name the people who helped him including wanting to know where they were in the crowd and pointing them out. All I could think is that's good management style. Thank the people who did the work publicly, make sure their peers know and, more importantly, acknowledge that you as the boss know it.

like this drag me out of my car, I kill 5 or 6 of them, and then their
heirs sue me for $100 million and ruin me and my family financially.
That would suck.
...
Or it just means that you after you defend yourself you have to immediately hunt down their heirs to defend the rest of your family.

I was thinking this before the election. The problem is this - it's a stark difference of culture. Lefties are dependent and weak minded. I'd say they have a "Hive-Mind" mentality. Easily led, easily indoctrinated. They take no responsibility for themselves. They're credulous to the point of stupidity and do what they're told. Hence their love of big government.
Folks here on the right tend to be capable self starters, and in many cases fiercely independent. They are much less likely to need or want help from anybody and are less likely to join a group, even a like minded group. Righties tend to be more cautious and responsible and very cautious about joining political "movements."
Thusly, the right doesn't march in lockstep the way the left does. If you put 10 lefty moonbats in a room, you can ask one of them a question and you'll know pretty much how the other 9 will answer. Hell, to be honest, you don't even have to ask.Put 10 conservatives/libertarians/righties whatever you call us (AKA normal people) in a room and ask a question, and you'll get 10 different opinions. And maybe several arguments. People who are smart, independent and think for themselves don't do the "groupthink" thing very well.So in the sense of how the left seems to coordinate and mobilize their mindless troops better than us, well, that's why and I think we need to work on this if possible.

363 Ace-

The Progressive Tea Party moment has arrived. Liberals are tasting again the HORROR, TERROR, LITERAL FEAR FOR THEIR LIVES, that arises and will arise, in perpetuum, when the opposing party wins a fucking election every other 4, 8 or 12 years. The time is ripe for bipartisan consensus around federalism-- dismantling the central Leviathan in Washington DC, despised and feared by all when under the control of the opposition, and reconstituting it at the state and local level. This has to happen under Trump, or it never will.

This dismantling/decentralizing--the inchoate goal of both left and right--will only get off the ground if fueled by Liberal hate and loathing. The real Tea Party needs to harness this. The sober rational arguments of libertaians for federalism fall on deaf ears. This is going to take the emotionalism of the Millennial.

Republican in office? No need to move to Canada. Just stay in Cali or MA or WA, where his views on abortion, gay marriage, transvestite bathrooms, and handicap parking regulations don't affect you. Don't like your high taxes, free health care and chronic unemployment? Come to Texas or ND.

National, bipartisan consensus built on Get the Fuck Out meets I'm Fuckin' Outta Here.

The right needs to join the bitter leftists on the street and agree with everything they say about curtailing Trump's power. Trump is the man to do this. It was the stated goal, I believe, of Rick Perry, and I bet Perry has the blueprint for it. But Trump could actually do it. Bring the country together, by allowing us, in domestic matters, to go our separate ways.

Now or never, man.

There are two types of people at the DOJ, the politically appointed and the career bureaucrats. It's actually quite easy to change the DOJ. Obama did it. You simply make sure that the people you appoint like Rudy and they set the agenda.

Obama's DOJ set the tone with Holder and refusing to prosecute things like the Black Panthers intimidating voters and instead focusing on "racist police departments" and the like.

Good career people knew they had no part in the Obama DOJ and they left or their voices were silenced.

This is actually one of the easiest places to influence because it's a choice of following the law or not.

I keep picturing Hillary in a few years turning into Miss Havisham, languishing in her faded and dishevelled white pantsuit from the DNC convention, raising her granddaughter with delusions that one day SHE will triumph in politics and bring glory to the Clintons again and take revenge on their enemies.

Chelsea is too impotent to do anything. Their plans rest on the next generation of Clinton spawn now.

389 Agree with everything on this post Ace.

Glad to know that the press and Democrats now approve of violence in order to achieve one's political ends; including assassination, assault, murder and arson. Not sure it makes the most sense for the little SJW snowflakes since we are the bitter clingers with guns who have now begun to reach the end of our collective ropes of "turning the other cheek" on these socialist, bolshevik Alinsky tactics. Oh yes indeedy - we have reached the verrry end of our ropes folks. Just letting ya know cupcakes.

That being said - I gotta tell ya - And I know this is from the last thread - but the following passage from that article by the "Director of User Experience" at "Roll Call" is pure comedy gold. GOLD I tell ya!

"We, as a culture, have to stop infantilizing and deifying rural and
white working class Americans. Their experience is not more of a real
American experience than anyone else's, but when we say that it is, we
give people a pass from seeing and understanding more of their country.
More Americans need to see more of the United States. They need to shake
a Muslim's hand, or talk soccer with a middle age lesbian, or attend a
lecture by a female business executive."

Where to start - where to start.

So the coastal folks both "infantilize (sp?)" us and "deify" us? WTF? So they treat us like little babies but also treat us like gods? This guy really ought to have put down the bong for a few minutes before writing.

Next - "Their experience is not more of a real
American experience than anyone else's, but when we say that it is, we
give people a pass" So coastal elites have been saying that "we" are more American than anyone else? Hmm must have missed that right between being called "bitter clingers" by Oh- BAHM-uh and being called "deplorable irredeemable" by Hillary. Mmm hmm - was constantly hearing people saying that on recent trips to Soho and the East Village here in NYC - and during the Gay Pride Parade oh yes.

Next - "More Americans need to see more of the United States."

Think about what this jackoff is saying in context. He is suggesting that the rubes that live in "flyover country" - that being everyone who doesn't live in CA or NY, so, basically the folks that live in all the other 48 states - "needs to get out and see" more of America. So . . . the folks that live in 96% of the US have not had real interaction with "America" because they have not seen the other 4%? Mmm Hmm. OK dickhead, that makes real perfect sense.

But this last bit - "They need to shake
a Muslim's hand, or talk soccer with a middle age lesbian, or attend a
lecture by a female business executive." is an absolute knee slapper.

Heh.

Nope, no Muslims in any state other than CA and NY, nope, no middle aged lesbians, nope, no female executives - nuh uhh - a female executive in Kansas?!?? Dontchya know that's against the laws of God and man? Not to mention Kansas Annotated Statutes Section 4312.B(a) 2. ii.! Elderly lesbians?!?? Well, yeah, OK we got a few of them . . .but no middle aged ones dammit!

This is the "Party of Science and Learning" and this is what we are up against folks. They are either idiots like this schmuck or full bore evil liars like Hillary. There is no in-between. I tell ya - keep buying firearms and ammo folks - cause they are coming for us.

422 People above talk about "cleaning out" DOJ, etc. Thought is understood, obviously well-founded, but the mechanics of doing so are not easy.

No, it won't be easy, but it can be done. Many can be forced out, particularly with ethics concerns, political pressure, leaking being punished, etc. Other can be just straight up fired. Others will leave or retire. Same with all other agencies. Trump talks about just using attrition to shrink them (let people retire and die, and not replace them) but that's too slow and not a good long-term solution. The next president would just re-hire unless you also shrink the budget and staffing.

I don't like the idea of giving the other side the the notion they reset the ground rules, which is why having the parade, but in a different place-say Detroit, or Flint, Michigan- is fun. Trump spent a lot of time talking about those places and if anyone wants to complain, he could say they could use the influx of traffic.

On the other hand, a simple swearing in would be a great reset. And no SOTU with pomp and ceremony, just send a report.

Radicalization has nothing to do with it. If attacked, people will defend themselves. So far, these Leftist agitators howling for blood have only gone after the softest targets imaginable: a guy in a Trump cap splitting off from the main group, an old man alone in his car, a couple out for a walk, an old ladypushing a grocery cartto the parking lot.

If the more violent of them really took it to the suburbs, many of them would certainly die. From what I've seen, not one of them is ready to step up and put it on the line.

The only problem - and it's a huge one - is that, if he actually does try to get something done on the big questions, Trump will face the usual media-black-out-and-opposition anyone proposing intelligent policies does. And the inaugural and the SOTU are two of the only unfiltered (or less filtered) chances to speak directly to the electorate.

But the symbolism of the flashy billionaire promoter going austere on some things would be very nice - and, as SH put it well, more befitting a republic.

On a stupid emotional level, I kinda do want to see the spectacle of Donald Effing Trump gladhanding his way down the aisle of the House chamber to wild applause as he mounts the podium for this first SOTU.

Let's not forget the wonderfully absurd and amusing aspects of this weighty historical chapter, kids.

And the conservatives side has more of the vets. Beyond the ground pounding grunt vets that did one and done, think about the snipers, SpecOps, PsyOps, EOD, etc., vets that bring something extra to the table.

The left probably have most of the EEO vets and vets who are LGBT, so they have that going for them.

560 I thought it might have been a good idea until last week when a friend came to visit from out of town. He said it's a bad idea because the Democrats would have made sure each of the new states would be reliable new democrat states which would mean even more leftist senators.

Posted by: Independent George - the world's #1 AoSHQ Podcast fan at November 10, 2016 03:45 PM (O6aZ4)

There's an analysis here I remember reading when all that happened:

http://www.foxandhoundsdaily.com/2014/08/six-californias-mean-politically/

Basically, there'd be at least two and maybe three of the states that the GOP would have a shot at winning the electoral votes for. This would be balanced out by the additional Senators that would go for the Democrats every single election.

The analysis does make the case that even the GOP-leaning areas have started to trend away from the party in voter registration, but I think that may have something to do with how weak the state GOP is. Now that the top two vote-getters in statewide primaries get on the ballot, regardless of party, there's a low natural ceiling for ambitious and talented republican officeholders.

I love this for a couple reasons. First and foremost is that the office of President has become wayyyyyy to regal and full of itself. Second, Obama took it so far from the realms of what it should be but the media has been making crap out of Trump for years (pull up that Seth Myers/Obama roasting of DT from 2011 I think) stating that he would turn the White House into some gilded garish Taj Majal.

It would be awesome to see him put the clamp on all that crap. No parties. No golf. No vacations. Just actually be President for 4 straight effing years. And make it a point to say that he still isn't working hard enough.

The man has shown he has stamina that no one else has exhibited from that position in years. Hell, I have gone several years without any real breaks several times. And my job isn't that damn important.

Gateway Pundit quotes the WSJ with the following:

The Obamas canceled a photo-op of the current and future first couples outside the south entrance of the White House. In his first visit to the White House after the 2008 election, Mr. Obama and first lady Michelle Obama posed for the cameras alongside President George W. Bush and first lady Laura Bush. The decision not to participate in this tradition illustrates how bitter the campaign was, particularly for Mrs. Obama who delivered some of the most emotional arguments against electing Mr. Trump.

http://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2016/11/classless-
obamas-cancelled-photo-op-white-house-welcome-
president-elect-trump-wife-melania/

But, if you follow his link to WSJ, that last sentence is no longer there. So, my reading the tea leaves says that Michelle refused, the WSJ hinted at the truth, someone complained, and the WSJ stealth-edited to remove the evidence.

608 Stay alert, stay armed, stay safe.

The war ain't over yet. That all said, I'd point you towards Col. Krautman's essay of last week, over at EveryJoe. If they are serious about starting a war, it may be good for them to draw first blood. |

Trump seems serious about being a Law and Order president and AG Guliani won't be letting these assaults slide the way the current and previous disgraces have.

Fingers crossed, right hand free.

609 I said this country is in a cold war with itself. Cold Wars can and do turn into hot wars. The only reason the one between the USA and USSR did not turn into all out war was nuclear weapons. What is the barrier to stopping a hot war within America?

That is why it was very important to elect Trump. Because if does turn hot I want the federal government and supreme court in the hands of the good guys. If it is going ot happen...Let the leftist and globalist play the role of firing on Fort Sumter first.

The NeverTrumpers just did not understand how bad off this country is now.

612 On the off chance anyone returns to this thread, there are random acts of violence but these protests are organized by the Democrat party.

Just like Hillary, Democrats have a public face and a private face. Their private face is organizing violence just like they did during the campaign.

This comes from the top.

Posted by: wodun at November 10, 2016 04:34 PM (MnbWw)

613 Seriously, I can't see these protests as meaning much at all. They're only happening in liberal cities, so who cares? Let them crap their own messkits if they want, and besides, what's the goal? None at all, they have all this outrage and emotion built up, and what's it doing? Nothing, they're just standing in the road, ranting and raving with no point at all. They apparently don't realize that this election is over, and they LOST.

Let them rant as long as they want, they longer they go on, the funnier it gets!

616 The leftists don't want to go down this path, it ends badly for them if they do. The wise decision is to practice tolerance and get along with their neighbors, especially the ones they disagree with. Remember, there are probably close to 500 million firearms in the USA, and most of the owners are *not* leftists.

Dear ace,

You have written at least two genius take-aways that I plan to personally deploy in conversation:

"Either the rules bind all or the rules bind none."
- This commonsense is not just against horrific violence in the streets.
It has to do with the 14th Amendment which declares equal protection under the law for EVERYONE.
No one can intelligently agree with your above quoted statement and also promote racial set-asides and affirmative action.

Next:
"No one is willing to be the _last_ person to take up violence."
- I immediately saw the wisdom in this statement; nonetheless, I thought it had some exceptions because I actually know several 'hardcore' pacifists who claim that human-life-taking violence is wrong in every case.
But then I considered your statement a bit more carefully. My good pacifist friends are theoretically NOT willing to ever take up violence -- not even AT LAST. Theoretically, they believe they should let themselves (and even their defenseless loved ones) be slaughtered by monsters. Well, that would not be to be the last to take up violence. That would be NEVER take up violence - which is their very claim.

So your statement regarding being the last to take up violence (whether original or generously passed on) IS WITHOUT PEER.

Despite our incredible _political_ victory: rough times may be ahead for us. Pray not.

You're right - I have friends in Denver who cannot have rain barrels in their yard to catch roof runoff because that water is court-ordered to the Colorado River, and eventually to Komifornia.

Sounds like a win for Colorful Colorado.

Posted by: Minuteman at November 10, 2016 05:19 PM (7rBhW)

625
UNFORTUNATELY, I have to agree with Pamazon @ comment #622.

It's not that whites are incapable of attacking in mob/pack mentality based on harming non-whites.

And it's not that there are not HUGE numbers of blacks whop never participate in such a ghastly thing.

It is simply that as things currently stand in modern American history: it is not that hard to find significant numbers of blacks living in American sub-cultures willing to engage in racial-mob violence against non-blacks (and usually whites).
And that is not true of whites living in American sub-cultures or American dominant-cultures. (- Though I am EXTREMELY confident this has not always been the case in American history.)

This reality is going to have to be acknowledged and confronted before there is ANY chance of repairing the fundamental damage to racial tensions in American society.

629 I hope Ace reads this. I know it is late in the thread, but I think it has to be said.

After Hillary learned that she lost the election to Trump, she never came out for her concession speech.

Most people think it was because she was too distraught. This is a lie.

Hillary and the Clinton gang are cold and calculating. This is a woman who lied to the mother of a boy in a casket that he died because of a videotape.

I think Hillary and Podesta and company were planning their next move. They were on the phone with Van Jones telling him what to say about "white lash." They were mobilizing the rioters and arranging payments. They were shredding documents at the CGI. They were planning and conspiring to go after Trump.

They agreed with Obama that their public face would be one of conciliation and healing wounds.

Bullshit.

They were creating a façade that would create plausible deniability with the rioters.

They are still scheming with the Obama regime to make their next big strike.

Don't for a minute believe that Hillary has rolled over and died.

Like Mr. Rate said in the movie, The Shooter: "The moment you think you've got it figured, you're wrong."

633 Sorry I am late. I had to work.

As much as they try to steer the results, its not about race. Its not white lash, its work lash. I think if the media do their job and drill into the numbers they will find that those of us of who work, of all races, are sick of paying for the slacker or intransient interloper.

Trump drove home the point to the voters of all races that there is a whole lot of giving of their working dollar to non Americans and that the blue donkey wants to bring even more freeloaders in for votes. Just as bad, the blue donkey plans to continue to pass around money all over the globe so the world will love us. But it is not working out so well and, by the way, we are broke The working man of all races is tapped out. Ocare made it all real.

The folks that get something for nothing will vote for the person willing to keep on giving. If they loose they might even get real mad and get off the couch and march and then, together, they get wound up and break things. I hope our police draw the line at personal injury but I am not holding my breath until the baton is passed.

CNN should be fined by Trumps FCC big time for inciting violence. Its all about money.

636 I really enjoy watching all of the hoopla both before and after this election. What I have come away with is this: most people are incredibly stupid or too lazy to explore the facts of both candidates. My friends and family know nothing of Project Veritas, or the Clinton Cash book and issues that were NEVER refuted by either Clinton or any other source. They vote with their silly hearts and not with their heads. IF they can intelligently state the facts about the email debacle, the uranium yard sale, the Clinton Foundation pay-for play access, and still vote for her, then I have respect that there is a certain amount of corruption they will tolerate in order to advance the Progressive agenda. But what I took away from the Clinton campaign was 'vote for me and break that glass ceiling and make history, and Trump is bad and the people who like him are deplorable'. Not too much hope there.
On the other hand, I cringed whenever Trump opened up his mouth and said things a third grader would have been taken to task for. In the end, I found him much more palatable so there it is. I am afraid for our country not because we have an unknown in the WH, but because we have so many children running around masquerading as adults. So I will go on and live my life in an exemplary way and because I do, I have many successes. All of my own making. Let's just get on with it and see what the guy can do. And if in 4 years we don't like it, we can change it.
