The beautiful thing, that may not have set in yet for these folks, is that Obama (stupidly) injected his legacy into this election and got backhanded. Trump ran on tearing up all the "progress" made for either years and then some.
Congress critters, who know Trump helped them win, will follow his lead on much of this. When this reality sets in, the SJW's and the media will fight the roll back hard, and fail to prevent it. Posted by: Nick in South Bend at November 09, 2016 03:25 PM (H43MS) 13

That is some serious psychopathology. This is exactly the reason the founding fathers placed restrictions on suffrage. The only skin in the game most people have anymore is that they are attached to the government teat and never learned to forage for themselves. It is clearly terrifying to consider the prospect that the milk will dry up when you have no idea where else to find food. I know we joke about the day the ebt card doesn't work, but this is what that will look like.

She's far from the only one. They are in complete meltdown. I had to turn off Tweetdeck on my gaming account.
Three layers of anonymity in that one, for good reasons. I remember being a kid in the 80s, and the job the media did to scare me about Reagan and nukes. Everything was going to end in nuclear flame. I imagined missiles crashing through my house. I panicked every time they mentioned Reagan's SDI or "dense pack". "The Day After" might as well have been "The Amityville Horror." This is precisely what the media has done with Trump, except after 30 years, kids aren't growing up anymore because no one makes them. So, essentially, we have an entire population of kids who were taught to be afraid, paranoid, and panicked, and they were never taught how to reason their way out of it. My dad sat me down one day, as he was a Minuteman missileer, and explained the concept of Mutually Assured Destruction to me, and my fear was GONE. Trump has an opportunity, here, because he can get past the media more effectively now than he ever could before. He can put cracks in that fear every time he does something that runs counter to the monster he's been painted as. This is how, in my adult life, I'm a conservative, even as I shook off the dust having voted for Clinton twice as a young man. "The media lies to you and here's why" should be his only message as he goes about getting his work done. It will get through. Posted by: grognard at November 09, 2016 03:28 PM (/29Nl) 37

OMG Trump doesn't believe in global warming. Obama has stopped the rise of the oceans, and now we will get tidal waves ... sheesh ... No, "this is the day that the tidal wave of illegals started to recede, back to Mexico and Honduras ... and our land began to heal." or "we are just 8 weeks away from fundamentally untransforming this nation from Obama's banana republic, to a decentralized republic our founders envisioned, returning power to the states, to the people" or "we need an internal security force, just as powerful as our military, made up of individual citizens with the right to carry, so that our federal government never again thinks they can subject the citizenry to illegal UN supervision, or foreign entities" Besides undoing O's EOs, we could undo all his insane rhetoric that was used to divide us. Slate saying white women betrayed the sisterhood by voting for Trump? Since when does my vajayjay mean I can only vote for a woman when they are a candidate? I did not want a corrupt, systemic, lifelong politician who showed disdain for the electorate (her own supporters included). And if a sister enables her husband to rape, then she's not my idea of a sister.
So eff you left! I am not conservative but I voted Trump because I was raised in a middle class family and see what these policies are doing to their lives. Re the VA, Mitt to run it, fine - but as part of a devolution/transformation where most functions are transitioned to merely handing out $$$ for vets to seek care on the real medical market.
Specialized care related to combat injuries excepted - and for which high-quality infrastructure and unique capabilities have been developed. Those of course continue. But VA benefits should be realized via the regular civilian medical system, for the most part. Part of the bigger transformation of returning as much medical and related care as possible to a real, private, market-driven or -influenced situation. The crimes committed by Her Heinous, her coterie, collaborating govt. employees, and Foundation people CANNOT simply be let go. The pressure to "move on" is probably already titanic. While I agree, we have to think forward: what does having a sitting president prosecute their opponent give Democrats in the future when they win the office again? Do we really want that to be part of our nation's system? i think the dangers and damage of that are far worse than putting a permanent GUILTY stamp on her forehead. Hillary isn't likely to live much longer anyway, with her awful health and all the drugs they've been dumping into her to keep her going. I suspect she's one big tumor at this point. A court case and any presumed jail time wouldn't amount to much if anything. But just declaring her obviously guilty but pardoned -- you don't pardon the innocent -- is the best way through the maze. I would really like to recommend a conciliatory tone and attempt to work with the opposition but frankly it would be a waste of time. The only positive is to be able to check the box ' well we tried ' because that's all we would get out of it. They would continue to call us dumb, racist, facist, anti-women and mean. Though would not recommend trying to make friends or compromise , I would recommend we keep it all about business and not make it personal even they will continue to do so.

One thing I hope that Trump's advisers note.
Bush focused on just one thing at a time and lost on everything else. The recent Republican congress focused on...nothing and got nothing. The 94 congress attacked on every front and one a fair amount of them. Be like the 94 congress and strike while the iron is hot. Trump should have policies to clean the swamp, reform the budget, and end the immigration invasion ready for Congress within a week of being sworn in. ... Amen. We can't look back in 2-4 years and have libs saying "if you wanted all this why didn't you do it when you controlled both branches" like we did to them. Get. To. Work. Of course, that sentiment is based on the idea that the jackholes on capitol hill don't obstruct him at every turn. Posted by: ajmojo at November 09, 2016 04:31 PM (1H9ox) 592

I agree, this would probably be best for the country, even though she deserves justice. It is an ugly precedent for the winner to prosecute the loser in a democracy, no matter how awful they were. Posted by: Christopher R Taylor No, Trump will never get anything from this by taking the high road, the Left won't stop doing what they do until they get a taste of their own medicine. This is not a political scandal, this amount of wrongdoing would put someone away for hundreds of years. The reason why the Clintons kept doing what they did is nobody would hold them accountable. Ever. Answer: 1. There is no expectation Trump would get anything. It removes the argument that he is personally vindictive toward her. Not much, true. 2. The left WILL get a taste of the medicine by prosecuting the underlings. They will get a big dose of why one rule for the bigwigs and one for her rubes sucks. The point of this is future deterrence of the next "Clinton" zombie army. Salting the field. 3. Why should we pay any more for her care. She should walk the earth friendless and alone and powerless. Insert Princess Bride Speech. 4. Agreed. She should be prosecuted. She has damaged the country. But I would go after all of them on unpardoned Clinton Foundation crap. Obama should pardon Hillary. It will be a gift to Trump. Because then Trump won't have to be the guy who goes after his political opponent. And the country needs to get over the Clintons as we did Nixon. Posted by: blaster at November 09, 2016 04:08 PM (tewYv) ++++ No, no no. A deal was made with Nixon to get him out of office. Hillary is not in office, no need to offer her a deal. Trump said (before he won) that he would instruct his AG to appoint a special prosecutor to deal with Hillary. Assuming that Obama doesn't pardon her, I hope he follows through. Posted by: Anon Y. Mous at November 09, 2016 04:32 PM (R+30W) 602
No. The investigation should continue and if
indicted, all concerned should stand trial. It's time DC learned to be accountable for their illegal actions. And I say that for both the dems and the repubs. Posted by: Soona at November 09, 2016 04:25 PM (Fmupd) The investigation should be carried out vigorously for the sake of rooting out her criminal toadies and bringing them to justice and breaking up her racketeering outfit. As for the haggard queen herself, she is done politically and most probably physically as well. Her health is visibly failing fast. Going after her now is just pointless and will look vindictive. She will be judged by a higher power anyway, likely soon I fear. (As will we all eventually.) Posted by: Agent Cooper at November 09, 2016 04:33 PM (1zARK) 603
Posted by: Christopher R Taylor at November 09, 2016 04:28 PM (39g3+) THIS. You risk bogging down your entire first term going after a political nobody while setting out the idea that it's ok to prosecute losing opponents. It seems fun until you think about how liberal every damn federal prosecutor is. Look at all it took to get BS charges started against Perry. In Texas of all places. Want to tell me DC is going to be more fair? Hillary is an awful crook and should pay for her crimes. It's infuriating that she's gotten away with them for all these years. But that's all we can do. And think about it this way-her standing there today, a loser, almost crying, having wasted the last 8-16 years of her life on something she thought was hers for the taking, all of it being denied in part because of her shady deeds. That's more punishment for Hillary than we could ever serve her with a 3 year trial that she'll die before the end of. Posted by: Alex #11 at November 09, 2016 04:33 PM (EUMt/) 604

The pardon route (either Bambi or T-Rump granting) it would be OK, ..... IF
There is extensive legal action against the Foundation, $$$-related aspects of pay-for-play, AND There is a presidential commission, or a joint congressional commission, to document and pass non-judicial judgment on the serious violations of two key laws. Folks, the Public Records Act stuff is a poison that has spread far and wide the last eight years, and it has never been adequately addressed. Started with EPA Admin. pseudonyms. A thorough independent investigation with public report would also likely draw Obama into the net via his email pseudonyms and multiple lies regarding the whole matter. You can't take a chainsaw to the rule of law to avoid a few months of idiotic hyper-ventilating. Watergate was a one-and-done thing essentially unrelated to public policy. The violations in question here were not just vastly greater and long-running and systematic, but at the very heart of integrity for accountable govt. Exactly. Justice is for God at this point for Hillary, and even though we may want it it sets a bad precedent. He can cut the body off the snake, however, and crush the underlings. First order of business - voter fraud and protecting the vote.
Really go after voter fraud with the DOJ - the real kind. Per walk people who are found voting several times - or busing people to multiple locations etc. Pass laws that make certain funds to states are available only to states where the vote is protected and/or rights of citizens are not being diluted by illegal votes, whatever the source. You don't have ID laws - you get no $$$ At state and local levels where the Repubs have state governments ensure that state and local laws are passed and that the DOJ "looks into:" groups that are trying to stop such laws as attempts to disenfranchise the actual votes of legal citizens Second - secure the border - start commencing the wall building protection program - ( hey can you say lots o' construction jobs?!?) and enforce exquisite laws against illegal immigration: Sanctuary cities? Gone. Over. Any state, city or municipally that refuses to enforce immigration laws or allows illegal aliens to take the rights and $$ that should go to citizens? No federal$$ for you. None. Zero . Zilch. Birthright citizenship for illegal aliens? Done, gone. It is crazy. no other really civilized country does this. You already have it ? OK you are grandfathered in . Everyone else going forward - GFY. Path to citizenship? Sure - it involves leaving our country, going back to yours and waiting in line like everyone else - also paying any back taxes and/or fines. Period. No line jumping - this is a nation of laws and fair and even handed enforcement of the same. You don't like it - ? OK then stay in your banana republic country and wait for the next corrupt government official to come and take your $$ and stuff and be allowed to do it because he is in the right party and has friends in government and you don't - so the laws don't apply to him . You obey the law, immigrate here legally with skills and/or $$ and education and won't be a public charge? We welcome you with open arms, black white, Asian Latino whatever - you are the salt of our country Third - take back the media and the universities: For the media - ensure that the DOJ prosecutes everyone in the Hillary campaign for election fraud, most particularly Brazile and Podesta and anyone else who colluded with the media to accept what amounts to contributions in kind without disclosing the same ("sure Hillary Campaign let me publish your talking point as a real news story" - or passing debate questions to the Hilz campaign etc.) If any reporters intentionally participated in this they get hauled into court too. But the campaign people get very publicly and purposefully perp-walked. Also reining in the HB1 visa program very publicly forjust about all job functions here in the US should be done - with the very public exception of broadcast and printed media journalism jobs - there the rules for HB1 visas should be relaxed. As we clearly have a dirth of conservative media folks here in the US - the program should be administered such that conservative journos from say the UK, Germany, France, Spain etc. should be given jobs - oh does that mean you might lose your job or get paid less Mr Jorge Ramos? Mr. Harwood? Well GFY - you were all for open borders so illegal aliens could take everyone else's jobs - now you have a problem with these LEGAL visitors with rights to work taking yours? Hmm my heart bleeds for you - you, too, can GFY. Same thing with the DNC - Debbie Watshername Schlitz and those scum who actually colluded with Hilz in the primary to swing her the election instead of Bernie. Very showy, very public arrests and perp walks - big showy trials - jail time Federal PYITA prison. (Bernie Bros/Bras? - this is for you - I didn't agree with your guy's politics - but what the corruptos did to him in the primaries ? frankly they should be swinging foro lamp-posts) For the Universities - downsize the DOE to just a "sets minimum standards for states to meet" entity, not just for elementary/high schools but also empower it to be the national accreditor of universities to meet certain requirements for actual course structure and for spending of money - if over a certain percentage of your courses are not "core curriculum" (Math, Sciences, History, basic English, etc. or research in sciences engineering etc.), and this would be a low percentage like say 5% - and/or if you spend more than 5% your tuition and/or federal money (including Fed aid to students) on things other than core curriculum then you lose your accreditation and ability to get paid any Federal Money. This will end all of the SJW crap at universities which is essentially paid for by the ever expanding network of professors with dubious degrees (such as that disgusting Prof Melissa Click) and veer universities back to being institutions of learning. Call it the Higher Education Improvement and Reform Act. How can you be against that - it will lower he costs of universities and of course it is "for the children" it is for "improvement!!" Lastly Public Unions - outlaw them - make a deal with private unions - say - "you we will protect and will work with - but not if you oppose us with public unions. Then there will be hell to pay." Anyway there are my thoughts right now - and am working on thoughts about the election and takeaways for tomorrow Posted by: Publius Redux at November 09, 2016 04:59 PM (Fb9aZ) 627
