I think 6 states will decide this, 3 big ones, and 3 little ones. The polls for these 6 are too close to call.
The big ones are FL, PA, and NC, of course. If Trump gets all three, he wins. If he loses one, he needs the little states. If he loses two, he's probably out of luck, unless the talk about MI and other places turns out to be real.
If Trump loses FL, he needs ALL 3 little states: CO, NV, NH
If Trump loses PA, he can still win with any 2 out of 3 of the little states.
If Trump loses NC, a win in either CO or NV will do it.
Two of the winning scenarios, BTW, result in a TIE. Which would send us into interesting territory - it goes to the House of Representatives (which is Republican).
The polls tend to be biased against Trump, plus they don't count the "unlikely voters" who may prove to be a big deal for Trump (but that remains to be seen!!) So I tend to think in terms of "If the polls say it's about even, Trump has a pretty good chance of winning."
I'm assuming AZ, GA, an IA go to Trump, while MI, MN, VA, and WI go to Hillary (although I hear that the inside scoop is that MI is a toss-up).

That's what tends to happen in Ohio. The rural counties take their time and let the cities report first.
In MI, you always see Detroit reporting last with just enough votes to offset the rest of the state.

I just checked my SF-San Jose CA polling location (5:30PM shared with another precinct) for attendance. No lines, plenty of parking, although there are around 30 cars in the parking lot. I don't see a large turnout.
I checked the AoSHQDD map: it looks like The Turd Gary Johnson pulled enough votes away from Trump to give New Jersey to Hillary, and he's making Ohio, NC, Florida and VA unnecessarily close.
Is there any way we can ban Gary Johnson from the planet and have a do-over?

I almost always vote against bond issues. For levies, I'll consider renewals and new ones are almost automatic No'es. Local school district has extreme budgeting issues. Voters started rejecting everything they put up as a result. Suddenly things started to improve on the planning side.

special referendum. Then I read them. Then if I don't understand them, I
vote no. If I understand them and don't like them, I vote no. But no is
my default position.

Never NEVER vote Donk.
Don't vote for the incumbent.
All ballot issues, vote no.
If I know and understand the issue or candidate and realize that one of the previous rules is wrong, I can then go against it.
All except rule one. That one is absolutely sacred.
It's not a perfect system, but it gets me most of the way there.

In the 90s the LP made a big play for people whose #1 issue was legalizing drugs.
Obviously ending the drug war is a libertarian idea, though not a particularly important one.
They "succeeded" and got many new voters...but lost their party. The LP is now less libertarian then the Constitutional Party....

I checked out the libertarian candidates to see if it was worthwhile supporting them.
Every one of them were lefty loons. They think it's libertarian for the government to force anti-traditional values on everyone so long as we legalize drugs.
Assuming you're referring to religious liberty, you obviously didn't look very closely. Austin Petersen, Steve Kerbel, and Darryl Perry were all firmly opposed to discrimination against business owners who refused service on religious grounds.

I'm pretty sure Gary Johnson pulls at least some of his voters from Clinton, so it's impossible to be sure whether he did or did not make the difference in a close race.
The good news is that he doesn't like like he's pulling the 5% he needs to qualify the LP for inclusion in debates. (Or something like that: there's some material advantage to a party that wins more than 5% in the previous election. Maybe matching funds? Too lazy to look it up.) Of the 7-8 states I've checked, he's over 2% and under 4% in all of them, under 3% in at least half - so looks like he'll be lucky to hit 3%, unless the late-reporting western states give him much bigger numbers.

It's his most natural usually-blue state to take: Michiganders want to go back to work. They want manufacturing jobs back. They've been shit on and abused by Democrats, local, state, and federal, for decades.
And they use paper ballots -- harder to cheat. And the Democrat cheating apparatus is atrophied up there, because they haven't needed it in decades.

It also means rolling back a populace in love with using the power of the state to crush anything they disagree with. Unfortunately, voters supporting Trump seem to love the authoritarian statist aspect of his personality, so I'm not sure what kind of brakes we're putting on here. Liberty died decades ago and it isn't coming back, IMO.
