The Anatomy Lesson
Freddy Fabris

For something a little bit lighter, here is a professional photographer recreating some of the great renaissance art, as re-imagined in a Midwest garage. Follow the link in the image to an article with a few more examples.

As usual, Neidermeyer's Dead Horse gets the hat tip....

Soros knows how to keep people bought.
Posted by: rickb223 at October 27, 2016 09:44 AM (dhqL5)

Brother, ain't that the truth.

Soros has gotten very good value for his money with TFG along with the Dims and Reps he's funding.

America's economy would be a big pile of poo (yes, it could be worse!) under normal circumstances,

however without us to prop up the rest of the world, their economies are sinking into a pile of poo much faster than ours.

Right now, America in comparison looks like a good place to park their money. Cuz everyone knows China is a slow-motion fraud.

But, the reckoning is coming, if we don't get things straightened out now.

Since Soros business model appears to be wrecking economies/currencies, then cleaning up in currency trading a broken, cracked, inflationary US is all what's he's about (IMHO).

And, of course, those politicians who work with him should again (IMHO) be considered traitors.

But, they do stay bought. And so do the political organizations he contributes to.

Where are the patriots in our system one wonders?

128 Yeah - on that Amish thing - that is an obvious typo - there are approximately 270,000 Amish in the US. Wish that part of the story were true - but - alas.

Hilz pulling out of Ohio - that I can believe. I assume their private internals ( i.e. polls with a more accurate split of the electorate - not these Dem +13 or Dem +29 ones) must be abysmal. Hence Hilz is spending time in, I believe, Wisconsin this week? If She-beast has given up on Ohio and is trying to rescue Wisconsin - then this thing is over. If DJT were really that behind and the map for Dims was being expanded, She-Beast would be in Texas which ( I know I said this before) we have heard, ad nauseum, is "in play" for Dims. Is it??- Then why isn't Hilz going after it? Hmmm?

Anyway - Do not take anything for granted - vote Trump!! That being said - I have the perception of something moving, unseen through the land. Let us hope that thing unseen is the elusive "shy Trump" voter.

He talked about how things once were, the sky alight and humming with the making of steel. Big, steamy magic that rose along the shoals and, like a net, spread in all directions, giving a boy a sense of fear and wonder.

"A good part of Youngstown is a welfare state now," he said. He bought a house a while back but he's noticed that other owners are renting their homes to people who see the world differently. "I've got houses full of idiots around me," he said. "No one goes to work. But they never run out of money for dope or malt liquor. That kind of irks me."

And all the big guns appearances ( Bill, Joe Biden, Chelsea, Kaine - OK the last two are not really big guns - but you know what I mean. For that campaign they are)) are in Nevada, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Florida, Michigan and Ohio. With Florida and Ohio being done for the Hilde-beast campaign tomorrow pretty much. With most of the remaining big gun appearances being in Michigan - Michigan?!? Think about that for a second - her campaign is spending significant time in the final days in Michigan and Wisconsin. This is not a sign that she is running away with this at all. This smacks of panic - they are trying to conceal it - but that is panic. Pure and simple.

I liked it too, but the characterizations were...idealized, for lack of a better word. For example, one of the Amish guys I worked with had one of those big ghetto blaster radios stowed away in his buggy, and he would take rides out on the obscure county roads outside Milroy, Indiana. He was convinced no one knew. Everybody knew. You could hear the thumpa thumpa of the bass off in the distance for miles around.

My point is the Amish in that movie weren't portrayed as real people. It was like watching Liz Taylor late in her career when they would make the camera filter so gauzy you could barely make out her face.

253 225 There's a place in Amish country called "Pennsylvania Dutch Gift Haus".

As soon as you spell it "Haus" my mind switches to German. "Gift" means "poison" in German.

My PA Dutch mother-in-law, God rest her soul, was married to a doctor who was in the US Army stationed in Germany after the war. She says she tried to use her Pennsylvania Dutch to talk to the Germans once. But only once.

You know how many times people say "I'lll climb over broken glass to vote for him."? Not because they like everything about his character or that we think we're electing a Pope but because he fights and because he says things that no other R candidate has said and that need to be said.

The Democrats have been hammering Kelly Ayotte in NH because they desperately want her Senate seat. Yesterday I saw a pro-Ayotte ad.

It shows Ayotte, dressed in a softball uniform, standing at bat while a pitcher with various hats reading "LIES" and "SPECIAL INTERESTS" and so on pitches to her, each pitch then being knocked out of the park by Ayotte, who at the end turns to the camera with a big smile.

It's got to be one of the cheesiest ads I've ever seen.

1) She is far enough ahead; running up the margins

I mean, polls show she is ahead in CO. But, she's not spending money or time there.
Polls also show her behind in OH, and she's pulled out of there as well.

He wants to be able to subcontract out most of the work to his existing entity, of which he is the 100% owner, rather than hiring new employees for the new entity, and duplicating his costs, and he wants to have at least equal management control of the new entity. Is this going to be possible?"

I can 100% guarantee you that is not true.

When you vote in TX, the next day the city/county secretary will release a list of everyone who voted the day before.

You will get:
Name
Address
Time of vote
Voting location
Their precinct

Because the voter rolls are public information; all of that is available for EVERY election you have ever voted in.

Which means, they know every primary these voters have voted in.

And if their primary history is RRRRRR, there is no way in hell they're voting for Hillary.

Like I said in the previous, my county is a 70%+ R county and we are seeing record turnout. There is no way in hell that is for Hillary.

330 The best national poll for trump is the LA Times tracker, where he's tied.

That had a gigantic Trump-heavy initial sample but always foretold trends.

He would need to get back to a 4 pt lead there to be tied in reality, IMO. Trump + 4 was pretty much the baseline for that tracker.

I'm not following. The 5th Cirucit is much more conservative than the 9th. So if there is a circuit split between the two that cannot be resolved by the Supreme Court, then we may have states living under two sets of rules or interpretations. May not be ideal, but also may not be terrible. Worse is 9th Circuit being imposed on the 5th via the Court.

And not every case will be a 4-4 tie. Most cases are not 5-4, only the really contentious ones. And so if a more clear majority cannot vote on it, then perhaps it should be developed at the circuit level further.

So separate but not equal?

That lawsuit to force it would be coming forthwith. Bet on it. Because the separate but unequal "two countries" laws.

And there is nothing forcing circuit courts to be conservative here, liberal over there. Especially if/when Hillary get to pack them. We were just bemoaning the point Monday about how Barky has packed the judiciary. A non conservative SCOTUS or a 4-4 tie where the stupid shit stands, ends us.

Or, you have people moving to the conservative circuit courts jurisdiction.

Then, you might as well have the national divorce.
