No Biggie, But Terry MacAuliffe's PAC and Some Other Friends of Hillary Donated $625,000 to the Election Efforts of the Wife of One the Key FBI Officials Overseeing the Hillary Email Investigation

Old and Busted: Not a smidgen of corruption

New Hotness: Well maybe just a smidge

he political action committee of Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe, a Democrat and longtime ally of the Clinton family, donated nearly $500,000 to the state Senate campaign of the wife of an FBI official who helped oversee the investigation into Hillary Clinton’s private email server.

McAuliffe's political organization gave $467,500 to Dr. Jill McCabe's 2015 state Senate campaign in Virginia, the Wall Street Journal reported. McCabe’s husband, Andrew McCabe, works for the FBI and was one of the top figures responsible for overseeing the probe into Clinton’s email practices while she served as secretary of state.

McAuliffe, a longtime friend and adviser to the Clintons, encouraged McCabe to run for the state Senate seat and helped direct funds to her campaign totaling $675,000, according to the Journal.

Andrew McCabe was promoted in 2016 to be Comey's number two.

Maybe a little more than just a smidge, too.

A former State Department IT aide invoked his Fifth Amendment rights and refused to answer more than 90 questions Monday during the final deposition in a lawsuit over Hillary Clinton's private emails.

John Bentel, former Director of Information Resource Management of the executive secretariat, would not answer questions about whether the Clintons had paid his legal fees or offered him financial incentives, according to Judicial Watch, the conservative-leaning group that brought the suit.

A federal judge in August ordered Bentel to testify under oath because "the record in this case appears to contradict his sworn testimony before the Benghazi Committee."

He had told the Benghazi committee in 2015 that he had "no knowledge" of Clinton's server.

You'll have to click on the link to find out if that's true or not.

Spoiler alert: Not.

18 Not that I have ANY doubt as to the depth and stench of the corruption cesspool that is DNC/Hillary and the rank and file hard left of the Democrat operative class, but... I would be curious how the 625K stacks up with other, historical contributions of the MacAuliffe PAC, and PACs like it.
That is, does a candidate PAC in one state routinely donate such a large portion if its funds to another candidate in the same State?
What is the history of MacAuliffe's PAC in making such donations? Ever to another VA candidate? If so how much?
I think that would be very telling.

Respectfully I disagree. The compliant media is itself a symptom of a larger problem. 60% of the electorate has been dumbed down and indoctrinated by a Marxist education system that teaches only hatred of America, its history and the concept of limited government.
The majority of our fellow citizens doesn't care about "breaking the law"
The law exists as a bludgeon for the noble purpose of forcing backwards Jesus unpeople to bake ghey cakes and to give more jobs to oppressed minorities (or those "identifying" as oppressed minorities).
Its all results, and only Progressive (TM) results that matter.
The rest is just an obstacle from our patriarchal, slave-owning past to hold us up.

91 I went to the Post Office today and spoke to the manager. Post Office jobs are civil service, right? So anyway we get to chatting and she says to me, lowering her voice, "I think we need to go back to the way things used to be. They say we're making progress. I think we're just making things worse." I liked the fact that she felt she could share that with me. I was sorry she felt the need to say it under her breath.

96 Not that I have ANY doubt as to the depth and stench of the corruption cesspool that is DNC/Hillary and the rank and file hard left of the Democrat operative class, but...
I think that would be very telling.
...
I don't know those numbers but the dude on the radio this morning told me her total campaign fund was $1.8 mil. So, regardless of what was donated to others....when almost 40% of your campaigns dollars come from one source you tend to feel a debt of gratitude.

112 The story of its ruin is simple and obvious; and, instead of inquiring why the Roman empire was destroyed, we should rather be surprised that it had subsisted so long. The victorious legions, who, in distant wars, acquired the vices of strangers and mercenaries, first oppressed the freedom of the republic, and afterwards violated the majesty of the purple. The emperors, anxious for their personal safety and the public peace, were reduced to the base expedient of corrupting the discipline which rendered them alike formidable to their sovereign and to the enemy; the vigour of the military government was relaxed, and finally dissolved, by the partial institutions of Constantine; and the Roman world was overwhelmed by a deluge of Barbarians.

166 I'm prepared to live with a Trump loss, if it comes to that. 2012 was a big smack on the head for me. I realized in a fresh way - This world is not my home. America is not my God. While I'm here I'll do everything I can to be a good citizen, and to stand for Constitutional rights. But I am a stranger and alien in this land. I am a child of the one true King.

168 "I understand why Vermont and NH have become liberal - all those Masshole and NY refugees, but who moves to Maine? You'd think they'd vote like Idaho."

The coast of Maine is very different than inland. Some liberal retirees on the coast. Coast is mostly driven by tourism. Portland is an enclave of its own. 30 miles in, it's like Appalachia, sometimes with a French accent. It's been a relatively high tax state for a long time.

But Trump getting any electoral votes out of ME is a good sign of change.

It really would have been nice to have Cuchinelli win that governor's race in VA instead of Clinton's cash bag man Terry McAwful. There would be fewer felons voting legally in VA this year and he wouldn't have been able to swing state Dem money to this FBI agent's wife.

Having Democrats win even one seat anywhere is always risky. We may not be able to stop that in deep blue areas, but they should still be voted against up and down the ballots everywhere.

209 So much psyop and disinformation flowing in every direction. Trump team claimed by Hillary has surrendered FL, OH and IA. Hillary team claiming they have the election locked up.
Polls all over the map. What matters is real data and Rs appear to be doing well enough to win in early and absentee balloting.

Plus if you need polls validation, check this out:

http://axiomstrategies.com/abc/

Now, the data is a month old now, but if those trends hold, Trump would appear strong in OH, NC, NV and PA, and competent in FL. If Hillary is really below 45 in Loudon Co, Va and Trump w/in a point or 2 then he has a shot at the Old Dominon.

But, if he holds FL and wins all the states that polling co is showing him strong in (OH, NV, NC and PA) and assuming he wins IA, he would not need VA, NH or ME and could even lose UT and AZ if something freakish happened.

Interesting times.

The best I can come up with for a few recent state senate campaigns in VA is an average expenditure of about $300,000. Given that the district is in NoVA, you might jack it up to $500,000. (I dunno. Just a guess.)

Each one of us also signed up at least one new voter who will be voting for Trump. I ain't about to give up. Two can play the registration game.

Strict adherence to the law makes no sense if the law makes no sense. And if it isn't backed by morality - it makes no sense. It isn't a law. It is an edict.

313 Grammie, I guess the difference between our time and Nero's is that we grew up really believing in The American Way and democracy and, although people have always been skeptical of pols, most thought our leaders, however misguided, loved this nation and wanted the best for it. We also grew up believing that most Americans were basically decent, God-fearing, law-abiding people who believed in the Constitution and wanted fair play and equality of opportunity for everyone under the law, not just free shit from the government.

In short, we had, not a decadent and cruel Roman Empire but the best land on earth. And other people, people born here, with our accents and cultural backgrounds, but not our love of the country, destroyed it, while the mass of the people didn't care. That's what's heartbreaking.

I don't want that. Asking them to resign is completely counterproductive. That'd just amount to a self-purge of good agents, who'd immediately have their replacements chosen by the bad ones who still work there. And we might never even know it happened.

I want them to stay where they are and work against the bad guys. Leak information, sabotage attempted coverups, and exert formal and informal influence to minimize the power of corrupt people within the agency.

They're in a far better position to do this than anyone else, so I don't think it's too much to ask. The GOP obviously won't protect whistleblowers, so unless there's a Snowden in the FBI that Putin is willing to burn, we're looking at the long game.

I had this weird feeling all last week that the bubble was about to pop, and not in the Thing's favor. The FBI agents leaking this info is just the beginning of the show.

It's all going to go down before November 8. Plenty of time for people to change their minds/decide.
