Free Beacon Supercut: 90 Seconds of Democrats Vowing "The System is Rigged"

The Democrat-Media Complex has been in fulsome outrage over Trump's suggestion that the system may be rigged. How destabilizing and dangerous, they cry again and again.

But they seem to be bothered not that anyone is "destabilizing" the system, but that someone else is cribbing their applause lines.

Related: Even fusty old George Will concedes that Trump has a point that elections are in fact rigged -- by all the illegal voting Democrats spend so much time securing.

Will wishes only that Trump would make the case more articulately.

Preaching to the choir on that one.

It is hard to think of an innocent reason why Democrats spend so much time, energy and money, scarce resources all, resisting attempts to purge the voter rolls, that is to remove people who are dead or otherwise have left the jurisdiction. It's hard to think of an innocent reason why they fight so tremendously against Voter I.D. laws....

We know -- we don't surmise -- we know that the 2010, '12 and '14 elections were rigged by the most intrusive and potentially punitive institution of the federal government, the IRS....

===

I didn't think fusty was a word. But I looked it up and it checks out:

smelling stale, damp, or stuffy:
"the fusty odor of decay"
synonyms: stale · musty · dusty · stuffy · airless · unventilated · [more]

old-fashioned in attitude or style:
"grammar in the classroom became a fusty notion"

How much above 100% the voter turnout happens to be in Philadelphia. How many Black Panthers come out to glower at voters in how many precincts.

31 If a Democratic scandal falls in the forest, and MSM doesn't hear it .....

You can't find a single thing on websites for NYT, NBC, CNN about James O'Keefe videos showing D operatives bragging about hiring people to disrupt Trump events, and about 50 years of promoting illegal voting. (the ones I just checked). It's an embargo.

To his credit, Anderson Cooper ran with it a bit last night. Some other cable channels also did this morning but always including that O'Keefe is discredited for doctoring other videos and convicted of foul play with a Congresswoman's phone line.

This is a big part of the frigging in the ringing.

34 We are sitting on a powder keg with this election. Democrats are going to go above and beyond to ensure Hillary gets "elected." For someone that most all polls show has a commanding lead, Democratic operatives sure are nervous. And inciting violence.

They know. Their internal polling must show Hillary isn't as strong as the public polls show.

If Trump wins, they will melt down. In gun-free zones, naturally, but it will happen nonetheless. Violence. Riots.

39 This video is devastating -- but of course few LIVs will ever see it, because the left controls the National Microphone.

If they were to ever rebut Ace's video, the left's rebuttal would be:

Most of these Democracts are saying the ECONOMIC system is rigged, whereas Trump is saying the ELECTORAL system is rigged. There's a big difference!

But that attempted rebuttal itself can be easily crushed by noting that the last time a Republican won the presidency (Bush), leftists in general spend HSI ENTIRE TERM (including up until today) sayign that Bush "Stole" the 2000 election and then "stole" the 2004 electoral (through "swiftboating").

42 I went to vote this morning and thought I would stop by the democrat area in front of the polls. I went in as an independent who was still undecided. I asked for some tangible reason to vote for Hellarey. The first women I spoke with didn't want to talk about her, just the downcard races, when I pressed her she could only come up with she's not Trump. She called over three other people and none of them could give me an actual accomplishment that she has done. They kept giving me the women, not Trump, line and one man suggested that I go to her website. I told them I didn't want political promises, just one thing that she has done that I could take into the voting booth with me and say she's actually done something. They couldn't give me one thing. And these were her supporters! They are really hypnotized by her, I think something is wrong with their wiring. Voting for someone by feelings and not who is best for the job. America is lost if that is how everyone is voting.

The polling place was packed. The line was almost out the door. This is in BLUE Columbus Ohio. Bluest and most corrupt city in Ohio.

Where is the polling on build the wall today? South of where it was when he first opened his mouth about it.
Where is the polling on deporting illegal aliens today? Again, south of when he first opened his mouth about it.
Rigged elections? Instead of actually sticking to real rigging, such as voter fraud, he is screaming that rigging elections is what persuasion is. Who wants to guess on what the polling will argue about rigged elections will be 6 months from now? My guess, much lower than it is today.

46 The Left has always believed that the system is rigged by The Man, right up to the moment they became The Man.
At which point they figure, "Hey, I'm in charge of this, but there's still a Man out there somewhere, and I have to rig it to survive!". Thus continuing to believe the system is rigged by The Man, while being The Man and rigging the system.

47 Those with more than a passing interest in true, down-home, no-BS vote-rigging can get a big dose of it in Robert Caro's multivolume biography of Lyndon Johnson ("Means of Ascent," which is Vol.2).

LBJ's defeat of former TX governor Coke Stevenson in the 1948 Senate election as retold in Caro's book was something else, facilitated by a local hardman/fixer George Parr, aka "The Duke of Duval." Fascinating stuff. Johnson "won" by 84 votes...

We are now seeing the advent of totally spurious websites, like "The Boston Tribune". Sounds like the online version of a famous newspaper, right? Except there is no such newspaper. The purpose of this (and several others) is not humor, like The Onion, but to spread FUD, and to try to cause members of the rightosphere to beclown themselves by repeating totally false "news".

The example that immediately comes to mind is the story about a bunch of shopkeepers in a Florida strip mall engaging in a gun battle, post-Matthew, with a mob of looters, ending with 31 people dead. Except it never happened. Last night, in the ONT, somebody posted a story from them about Barky's mother-in-law being granted a pension of $160 grand per year. From the same source.

Could I ask you for a post on this topic, mainly to serve as a warning to the 'rons and 'ettes to be very suspicious of "news" from sources that have not been vetted, but also as an examination of the deliberate disinformation being spread by the Progressives (and this is calculated, make no doubt about it).

Also, as these fake news sites are outed, could they be placed in the sidebar, and pinned there, as "confirmed enemy propaganda"?

114 Millions of votes are changing because of 3AM Tweets? Huh? Really? Fascinating.

Like much of what Trump says in his campaign, he simultaneously, and maddeningly, taps into both legitimate and screamingly important issues - and fairly bogus ones. Which creates frustration and tension for pointy-headed types like many here (legitimately).

There are several legit, long-standing, ways in which things are "rigged". Some of them (like the most important one, media distortion, which has reached its theoretical near-maximum this cycle) cannot be fixed by anything other than the civic culture forcing it.

To borrow from the Ovoid Crap-sicle (or whatever it is ace calls Cilizza), for the billionth time, Trump 's entire candidacy is a reflection of the failure of the GOP to address issues that in some cases draw near 80% of the electorate in opposition to the status quo. The sense of "rigged", comes, in large measure, from the fact that massive wave elections for the GOP (congressional level) result in just about nothing visible.

118 real rigging, such as voter fraud, he is screaming that rigging elections is what persuasion is. Who wants to guess on what the polling will argue about rigged elections
You suggest that unethical, nay, illegal collaboration between media, pollsters, and others, a real problem, does not count as rigging the election in any way, *you* scream that Trump is going to discredit actual fraud - which his focus is not on - by sheer similarity of the phrase "rigged election" to describe both, and then go on to say "the polls".

Astounding.

Trump can't say "rigged" to describe mass manipulation, because mass manipulation will rig or pretend to have rigged opinion against him on another issue, and the problem is that the other issue is being discredited? By his focus on those conducting said discrediting? Somehow, these people he seeks to hold to account will be honest about any measures to treat fraud, and not as flagrantly dishonest as in all other respects?

Mass manipulation enables massive fraud, so focus on massive fraud alone is fighting a headwind. You could complain that he's the wrong man (as you have, to the point of tedium), but you're probably wrong he's picked the wrong target, and claiming that *that* is the problem is just... stupid.

The RNC have the ability to fight actual massive fraud on some level, though that's within the limits of the idiotic consent decree. Why in the hell aren't *they*?

You're saying that Trump discredits whatever cause he picks up, but in this case is discrediting the cause by not picking it up, and using the terms for another real problem? You would prefer he do nothing... which tends to mean nobody does anything?

I'm pretty sure NeverTrump has its own brand of Goodtimes Baby Snack Paste at this point.

As I've noted many times before, our own financial/technical assistance to such election processes, and our political/diplomatic imprimatur/approval of them ("free and fair" election, recognize the govt. that is produced thereby), WOULD BE DENIED to many jurisdictions in the US based on the lack of integrity in our process.

The question of whether the economic system is rigged is separate (I think it's rigged in favor of people who get useful educations and work hard, but YMMV).

Democrats do say that elections are rigged, 2000 and 2004 especially. Usually it's the actual dem voters and the media saying it, but John Kerry told an afghan politician as recently as last year that he knew the 2004 election was rigged but moved on for the good of the country.

210 Where I CAN offer value is in how to help their operations run more smoothly so they can enhance their leaders' income or whatever they want to do with the "excess value" they have "exploited from their workers" and donators.

If you know so much about making a business run smoothly and profitably, why don't you start a business, run it smoothly, and make profits?

Well let's see. Capital requirements, 14 hours/day seven days/week, don't want to boss, prefer to be manager not owner blah, blah, blah.

180 We can force people to buy health insurance but it is unreasonable to ask them to have an ID card for voting

Bearing Arms is a Right.... voting, is a Right...

Yet, we can make you not only show ID, but have a full background check done on you to Bear Arms...

Yet not only do we NOT make you show ID, we don't even check your citizenship to vote.

Some Rights, are more... Righty? ... than others...

************We force all of our citizens to have passports to travel out of the USA but we refuse to force all of the foreigners that come here to have a passport or any ID whatsoever.

212 In an ideal world, it should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. But if courts have de facto legalized it by making it impossible to stop, shouldn't conservatives also take part in it? The only way Dems would be against it is if it would *hurt* them because they are scummy, dishonest sh*tweasels. So even if you want reform, we should partake.

Yes, and then you would see people taking the integrity of the ballot box seriously again.

As long as the current fraud benefits Democrats, nothing will happen and now they got the courts to play defense for them.

213 Its weird to imagine the economy could be "rigged" if the political system isn't "rigged" as well.

214 Personally, I don't think I'd have a moral problem with voting fraudulently in today's America, I just don't know how to do it.
