NBC Embargoing Full Juanita Broaderick Interview Just Like They Did Before, To Protect Clinton -- Just as They Did Before

If you're too young to know this, NBC quashed a Lisa Myers interview with Juanita Broaderick in around 1998. They further forbade her from speaking about it to anyone, on pain of firing.

But word had trickled out about the interview NBC was embargoing -- so much so that Brit Hume and others on his show (he used to host Fox's Special Report) took to wearing "FREE LISA MYERS" buttons on-air, if I remember right.

At some point an edited version of the interview was released -- conveniently, I think, after it could no longer harm the Clintons' various elections.

Or so they thought.

Michael Isikoff, who was a leading reporter during the Monica Lewinsky scandal, said in a Thursday discussion that NBC should release a 17-year-old tape of an interview that it conducted with Broaddrick. Broaddrick has long claimed that the interview that NBC aired edited out her claim that Hillary Clinton was involved in quashing Broaddrick's rape claims.
"NBC has the full tape of the original Lisa Myers interview," Isikoff said during an online discussion on Sidewire.com. "NBC ought to check its archive and run the full interview. (AS long as they’re now culling their archives!)"

"Folks have made much of the fact that her claim about the conversation she had with Hillary wasn’t in the interview that run," Isikoff said. "Broaddrick said it got cut out; Lisa Myers has since agreed Broaddrick said this then--and NBC chose to cut it out."

BTW, Genifer Flowers says Clinton pressured her to have an abortion of their baby and gave her $200 to have it done.

And this isn't a new allegation, timed for the election. She's spoken of her abortion before. I'm not sure she's spoken of it being Clinton's, or of him having paid to make sure there were no more Danny's running around.

I used to volunteer to accompany female college classmates as they walked to their cars late at night. Under no possible circumstances would I repeat those actions today.

Similarly, I once would stop to render aid at roadside accidents before the first responders showed up. I don't do that any longer, either. Not after Good Samaritans started to get sued, and the courts started upholding the basis of those suits. I'm going to dial 9-1-1 to report the crash and that's it.

Every new one is like a crappy sitcom episode recycling old plots from a bunch of garbage you've already seen, it just stopped being interesting long ago. I don't even think the media would have to try to help her, they could just put everything out there and people would say "meh" and change the channel.
