They dumped civics to create a stupider, more pliant electorate. They changed the rules of public discourse to where private immorality didn't matter, to protect Bill Clinton. In part, the Trump take down video was aimed at undecided voters and weak Trump partisans to drive down their turnout and maybe cause some to switch to Hillary. There is only one thing I'm sure of this election: Who ever turns out will determine the winner. That is, what level of turnout from which groups?
Will the blacks and urban white women turn out like they did for Obama?
Or will the white men, who haven't been voting, turn out for Trump like they did for Reagan?
I don't have the time, but one way to tell is to go back to 2008 and 2012 and look at the evidence other than the polls that showed historic turnouts from key groups for Obama.
Off the top of my head, I'd say: Rallies, yard signs, shirts, bumper stickers, donations, donations and donations.
The problem with most of that is you can only measure it by anecdotes.

It's fairly easy to use, but I admit that "why to use it" is a good question. It's nice to have 300 characters because it permits a far more cogent argument. But a lot of jerks gravitated there early and some posts are clearly exercises in free speech that I don't care to view, but it is very easy to disappear them.

- There has never been a time when historic primary turnout didn't result in a large general turnout for that candidate.
- This is not going to model with traditional elections of the past. There are people who voted in the primary who have not voted in other elections. There are a lot of disaffected people who will be voting.
- There is a lot of ground between now and the election. The information coming out on Hillary will keep dripping and have an impact either in turnout or voters. Remember thes are two of the most unpopular candidates ever.
In the end, this is closer than most people believe. That is why Dems want to try and suppress Republican turnout by floating the lie this is "over". It's not until the people have voted.
Either way the Republican Party is finished with its voters. The GOP knows it and it's why they are sticking with Trump- so they can try to stay neutral while pulling the #nevertrump strings in the background.
By the way, the big lie is that Dems will retake the House and senate. Look at the way the local polls are breaking. It will. Ever happen, especially the House.

I'd say Alex Jones is a lot more sane then Beck at this point. Alex Jones may buy into crazy stuff like chemtrails but unlike Beck he knows what the stakes are. And his trolling of that fat Buffalo Cenk Uygur was glorious.

those that go to rallies are surely registered, but they represent many others that back Trump but have been non-voters ... they need some ads to remind them all to vote this once if never before, and hope there aren't too many that missed the deadlines.
Hillary is exposed as hating Bernie voters as much as the deplorables ... she is Wall Street. Even Bernie wanted closed borders ... they have to flip Trump with all that is coming out on how Hillary lies, knowing they are a "bucket of losers" and will fall for her crap.
Landslide Trump is in the making ... he can move as far left as he wants, at this point. We could actually sacrifice a virgin a day if that was needed to save our country from Hillary. Fortunately only the Clintons have to be feed like that. ha
But the powers that be think they own the system and the stupid people ... we will see.

I'm taking a break from AOS, it's just too depressing and infuriating to hear how the reason we are losing the election is due to people like me who refused consistently from a very early time to vote for a lunatic moronic liberal such as Trump. They despise Hillary and know what is at stake but still consider not voting the top of the ticket. The soft R's find his remarks all the more reason not to vote for him.

Now I must ready myself to go out and walk my precinct -- a living nightmare of people who won't answer the door, a few won't take my literature, and others are "undecided." I am skipping any Democrat primary voters and still can't find support from our side.
It's expensive to print up letters to my precinct, stuffing bags to leave on door knobs, exhausting walking, and now pointless. I do it for my children and grandchildren. My heart aches for what they have lost. I didn't do enough early enough.
I live on the conservative sites to console myself with the comments. Thanks for the uplift and the laughs.

Now, surprisingly to me, in my very middle class neighborhood of East Kendall I have seen very few lawn signs for the presidential election with about 7 Hillary to 2 Trump so far.

Your points are valid and I have considered them. Many have "no soliciting" signs and, as my daughter said, "If I don't know who is at my door, I don't answer." That would be typical conservatives.
The discouraging thing is that the folks I expect to be willing to vote Trump to stop Hillary, are not sure now -- very skittish or saying they won't vote or will vote for Hillary. When I offer, "At least Trump loves the country," they respond, "I'm sure Hillary does too." Yikes!
