1 Good Morning Morons. Today is Sunday, October 02, 2016. On this day in 1959 the TV series The Twilight Zone premiered on CBS television. This was the "golden age of television" as far as I am concerned and Twilight Zone was one of the best TV shows of all time as well.

2 The NYC far left rag NYT is reporting Trump had a $916M tax loss in 1995 from a "leaked" copy of his tax returns. Which they were obligated to report of course. Seams to be that this is a violation of the Privacy Act but I will not hold my breath waiting for a criminal charge from our corrupt FBI. So what if he legally used our shitty tax code to declare a tax loss. Where is the NYT with all of Scankles' really corrupt abuse of the tax code for her sham charity? Silent of course.

And let us also not forget that this is the traitorous newspaper that printed classified information from the stolen "Pentagon Papers" which resulted in the deaths of several real agents of the US unlike that phony Valerie Plame that the Demoncraps got so hot about. But the black robes issued one of the most insane rulings in history in saying that the government could not block publishing classified information in the newspaper until "after the fact". And contrary to what the liberal idiots say now, they didn't go so far as to say that newspapers and other criminals who release classified information could not be punished by prosecution. But that is extremely rare because it would always result in even more classified information being released because the black robes would allow defense attorneys to call for everything under the sun, classified or not.

3 A 6 year old child has died from that Townsville, SC shooting. Sadly the gun grabbers like Obama will use this tragedy to scream for more gun control. The shooter was 14 years old and evidently had somewhat of a history as a trouble maker. It was already against the law for him to purchase or have a gun under current federal laws. He also illegally drove a pickup truck to the school. Shouldn't we have some pickup truck control laws too? But of course the answer is more gun laws.

6 And meanwhile in one of the most rabid anti-gun States in the union a HS student has been suspended from school for writing an essay against gun control laws. The school has ordered him to be evaluated by a psychiatrist for supporting the Constitution. Sounds like the 1950s Russia, but that is NJ. There is little difference between NJ and 1950s Russia.

9 It looks like that NJ subway train outfit had a history of safety violations from federal audits. To me this simply reflects what I have said for a long time. All these federal regulations are worthless for nothing but make-work for the government. They do nothing but build paper empires for bureaucrats. But like gun control laws, anytime you have something like this it is an excuse to scream for even more "regulations". And as a matter of fact, there is nothing in the Constitution that gives the feds to authority to regulate commuter train safety either.

11 And continuing with his anti-American and pro-muzzie crap, the Choom wants all the ME muzzies reclassified as a new "protected "race" under US civil rights laws even though the laws make no such designation. The big question is, will anybody stop him with his illegal pen and phone BS? I will not hold my breath.

12 Obama has finally got what he wants with respect to the Internet which was the only news source not owned by the Democrats and what he and Nazi Pelousy had been trying to regulate for years. Since he could not get what he wants here, he gave it to the UN and you can be damn sure when they soon come up with censorship laws he will enforce the hell out them despite those being against the Constitution in the US. After all, who is going to stop him?

13 And speaking of anti-gun blue State black robe assholes, an Oregon black robe proves that he should be disbarred and forbidden to be in a courtroom except as a defendant for life. He freely stated in court that all guns should be confiscated and dumped in the ocean. He also ranted about how good the Australian gun confiscation was working, which is also a pack of lies. What we need to is to modify the 1964 civil rights act to put in punishments for people who illegally violate gun rights of people under the second amendment.

If you have convicted of DUI you now have to pay for and install a breathalyzer interlock in your car. 20 Liberal elite school is back in the news again. Fox hits them with this:

Duke University is famous for its science and engineering programs, as well as its dominance in college basketball.

Now, it may also become known as a great place for men to gather and contemplate why they're such horrible people.

What Fox (and every other news program in the US) fails to acknowledge is that Duke is also famous for is it's well known hatred of men. They forget their suspension of the Duke Lacrosse team on really no reliable evidence what-so-ever of rape. Only the dubious testimony of a hooker trying to beat the rap on a police arrest and a corrupt prosecutor who knew she was lying and wound up getting disbarred (unlike other corrupt lawyers we know). To me it is amazing that rich and stupid parents would pay outrageous sums of money to send their male children to this discredited shitty school. But then again, they are probably just as liberal and stupid as this place.

24 well I'm surprised it took the IRS this long to "leak" Trumps returns. As long as he didn't break the law then I'm okay with it, after all, I'm pretty sure every single person who does their taxes tries to pay the least amount they can, that's the whole point. I hope he turns this around on her and points out how corrupt the IRS/Feds are and that clearly this was done to try to benefit Clinton, and the people are tired of Clinton's using the government as a weapon against anyone that has a different opinion of them. The next 4 weeks are gonna be rough, but we knew this, she will not let anyone stop her from being crowned.

back when I was on a rotational assignment to training I got trained on those federal privacy laws because we handled a lot of material that fell under them. Releasing Trump's income tax records is a clear violation of those laws. But O'Choom got into office in IL anyway because someone broke those same laws, not to mention a court order, to release divorce records of a Republican running against O'Choom.

It was clear from the debates that this was coming, she laid it all out, then bam, taxes are leaked and she gets to says see I told you he didn't pay taxes etc... Just like the Alicia Machado thing, it was all orchestrated and ready to be rolled out on a silver platter for her. And she will get to slam him in the next debate unless he turns it around on her. I think Americans don't like the idea of people in the government being able to leak personal information to destroy someone, even if he's rich. It's clear the IRS has been doing this and he should hammer that home at the next debate.

Since we are talking ancient history, let's talk about the 12 year old kid who was so violently raped that she went into a coma, and was then attacked in the courts by Hillary Rodham who was the defense attorney for the rapist.

She suppressed evidence and the rapist got of with two months time served.

Decades later in an interview she bragged about this case, and laughed that he got off so lightly.

92 Trump better start spending lots and lots of money and putting out lots and lots of commercials, etc. This week has been a disaster, not because of the debate--he could have survived that. The MFM and the Clinton machine are operating at full power now. It's all anti-Trump all the time, even FOX. Hell, the only reliably pro-Trump shows are Hannity, Justice w/JJ, and Lou Dobbs on FBN. The polls are slipping and he's got to turn this around immediately. We need hard hitting commercials detailing all of Clinton's legitimate scandals. The MFM will not even bring them up.

God forgive me, but I despise these people. Gonna shut up now, because I'm just pissing myself off more.

The top tax rate was 7% on anything above $400,000 in 1913,

After FDR died in office in 1945 it was 94% for anything above $200,000 inflated dollars not backed by gold.
After the RR tax cuts reduced the rates to two brackets the top rate was 28% but then RINO Pappy Bush made a "deal" with his lips and the Demoncraps.

It is also one of the reasons that they NEVER call inflation as high a it really is. Because somehow the do nothing Party did get the income tax rates indexed to "inflation".

Posted by: Vic We Have No Party at October 02, 2016 07:48 AM (mpXpK)

Just to be clear, it was JFK who did the first major tax reduction on the rich back in the early '60s. Forget what he had the rate reduced to, but at least it was knocked down some from the ridiculous level FDR had it at. Then later Ronaldus Magnus reduced it to the 28% mentioned by Vic.

And truth be told, the only reason the tax laws are as convoluted as they are is so "the rich" can cut the amount of taxes they have to pay, and it has been ever thus. And a question I'd like to see answered is whether or not this "$900 million loss" was against Trump personally, or was it a loss on his corporation. There is a difference.

And yet something else you never hear mentioned by the MFM is that the United States has the highest corporate tax rate of any nation on Earth. Or that people like Trump (i.e., "the rich") are audited on well nigh a yearly basis by the IRS to see how much more money they can squeeze out of them. But the Hilldabeast says "the rich must be made to pay their fair share". Fair share? The top 50% of wage earners pay 94% of the taxes in this country already. That is why I had to laugh back in 2012 when Romney got raked over the coals for his "48%" comment, because it was factual. Nearly half the population pay no taxes and are your basic feeders at the public trough.

What I do not understand is why Trump does not ram these facts right up the FAB's fat ass and ask her "What the hell more do you want of us, bitch? We are already paying through the nose to keep your Free Shit Army in EBT cards and Section 8 housing, etc. What more is there?"

139 alrightalrightalright

the tax rate explanation above was very worthwhile, but i've got one:

what's the biggest difference:

1620-1720

1720-1820

1820-1920

or

1920-2020

i guess it would be the last century, but 1820-1920 saw maybe the greatest change with railroads, telegraph, telephone, automobile and airplanes and steam ships and electrical grid and appliances...
yeah, i think maybe 1820-1920 is the biggest difference, but on the other hand, those advances spread the most to just about everybody from 1920-2020, so there's that... so i guess that's the most different and that's not even counting computers.

155 Riddle me this, Batman:

For the past several years, every state in the south has been under pressure from the "social justice warriors" on the left to remove all traces of their history that reference their slave-owning past. The Confederate flag is banned and deemed an outright symbol of "racism." Colleges and universities that have named buildings after donors who owned slaves, and states that have named buildings or highways after slave owners, are forced to remove those names, lest the taint of an evil slaveholder injure the tender sensibilities of some dark-skinned citizen.

Meanwhile, the Obama administration is importing, by the millions, living adherents of an ideology who literally worship as a god a man, Muhammad, who bought, traded, and owned slaves (including sex slaves) himself.

So if we, as a nation, are required to purge all traces of slavery from our society in the name of "social justice," then why are we simultaneously importing millions of a slave-owner's worshippers, and why are we teaching that slave-owner's ideology to our school children, and why are we installing prayer rooms and foot baths and other accommodations in our public places to make worship of that slave-owner easier, and why are we passing special laws to give protected status to that slave-owner's worshippers?

Slavery is evil and slave-owners deserve to be erased from our collective consciousness . . . unless that slave-owner is named Muhammad, in which case the slave-owner is to be honored and celebrated and his ideology taught in our schools?

157 Good morning roonz and roonettez!

Yesterday was the one year anniversary of when the lovely Mrs Hades and I exchanged vows. We didn't really do anything this weekend because I have to work today, but we did spend the day together so it was a good day.

We are planning on taking a trip to the beach next weekend since I'll be of all weekend. However, it looks as if we may run into some weather next weekend since Hurricane Matthew is currently winding his way though the Caribbean. He should be making his presence felt on the east coast sometime next weekend.

This seems to be a trend. If you recall last year about this time the remnants of Hurricane Joaquin was traveling right up through the Appalachians and Mrs Hades and I were driving the Blue Ridge for our honeymoon.

I guess we'll see what happens.

160 They should have, not sure how many did. I learned a lot, a lot of 12 hour days, but didn't make much. I even called a Nazdaq top around 5000 very early, called it going back to a low around 1440. But shorting is difficult, (see 'short squeeze') so I mostly walked away from trading. Life is now good on my little farm. A lot of "players" made money, some good traders got wiped out in the insanity, average people mostly lost if they tried to play.

Posted by: illiniwek at October 02, 2016 08:30 AM (n6rAX)

I didn't have the money to spare back then to ride the "bubble", but a lot of my coworkers did, especially since we were literally in the big middle of the whole thing, technically speaking. And oh man, they were going to ride that bubble all the way to heaven.

I kept telling them something was going to have to give on this, and that they'd better start thinking about getting out while they could. But no, it was just going to keep on going up and up. Then BOOM, the whole thing collapses. And boy howdy, you should have heard all the wailing and gnashing of teeth when these hotshots saw so much of their money disappear in a puff of smoke.

I see your point, but wouldn't it have been better for the Dems to release their big tax return "bombshell" on Monday to get the most coverage.

I dunno. I'm wondering if the Wikileaks thing could possibly have anything outrageous enough to do her in. Most here would agree that she and her husband (and probably their daughter as well) should be in jail already considering the massive amount of corruption and scandals these despicable human beings are guilty of. Yet with the media in their pocket, everything is effectively mimimized, pooh-poohed, and old-news'd to death. Short of a video of her eating black babies, she will skate away. Again.

Yes I agree, that's what makes the weekend dump seem weird, unless they have something worse planned for tomorrow, who knows they could be planning some type of dump every day until election day.

And you're right the only thing that could possibly do her in, is if she's caught on tape doing something racist. Either that or have a tourettes moment during the debate.

166 In Trump's first bankruptcy, iirc, he had personal liability, and had to sell a big yacht and a small airline, to personally add $500M to payments to those with losses, as it went through the bankruptcy procedure.

(which is not like personal bankruptcy ... a judge sorta manages restructuring, or sale, and who gets paid what ... junk bondholders probably get wiped out unless the company survives ... even then they are low on the totem pole)

GM should have gone through bankruptcy imo, and I recall Obama scolding the greedy bondholders (many were pension funds only getting 25 cents on the dollar) ... but Obama acted as king, and made sure to save the union bosses pensions, with the US Gov throwing in a bunch.

"That's not how this works ... that's not how ANY of this works." lol .. I love that commercial.

Over the years I have gotten letters from Kim Soo Young, Shakira Jackson and Brian Holt just to name a few but when I would call the IRS the lady on the other end said that I couldn't just call these people, they don't have to talk to the public. Then why sign the letters? Utter nonsense.

yeah, hard to feel too sorry for them, but those are the people Cuban got his money from. And some crap got pushed by brokers, just like Goldman Sachs was pushing the housing bonds on their customers, even as they were dumping as fast as they could (see "The Big Short" to learn to really hate these connected fluckers ... they bought off the SP ratings so they could sell/dump their leveraged positions)

I remember one trader every morning would say "the casinos are open" at the bell. ha.
Another comment stands out ... "where does all this money come from" ... as so many were jumping in, including average people via their mutual funds. A lot was probably just fabricated leverage as well, though there were limits on how much average folks could leverage, and they added tighter limits on internet crap.

186 Charlie Gasparino is no real pal of Trump, but a couple months ago he was saying how much he respected Trump for coming back so strong, after basically getting wiped out.

After Trump's first bankruptcy (where he had to sell personal assets of half a billion) he learned to have limited liability, like everyone else does. I haven't check to see if that first one was 1995 ... seems a little late for that. But he may have sold things at a big loss, then he carries them forward.

But Vic's FOX link said he could carry that over and pay that much less in taxes over the years. Not stated right ... he doesn't pay $900M less in taxes, he deducts that much over future years, so pays 35% + state and local (or whatever top rate he pays) in taxes on his incomes, which are reduced by that carryover thingy, but just the tax on it is reduced, not the whole amount. And it is more complicated than that since there are capital gains, income, various categories.
