I don't think there's any other way to get the Democrat-Media Complex to cover the Clinton Foundation unless he brings it up the way he pinned the birther thing on Hillary. First, they denied Hillary had anything to do with it. But in the course of spinning for her, they pretty much had to come out and say, "Yeah, it pretty much came out of Hillary's campaign." I think all this "taking a knee stuff" is stupid- done by people who have no knowledge of history or tradition. For centuries getting down on one knee has been a token or respect and obeisance. Think of people kneeling to a King or Queen. So the people who do this have decided in their collective wisdom that this now means they don't respect the flag or anthem which supposedly both stand for intolerance. If you really wanted to show that you didn't respect the flag or anthem then I suppose you could keep your rump in your seat instead of standing up because kneeling on one knee is just ignorant in more ways than one.

Dave Chappelle also had a funny bit on how black men know more about the various crimes' penalties than a paralegal. Starts with Chappelle in the car w/a white friend driving who gets pulled over. Policeman informs him he's violated some traffic law and friend responds, "Oh, I did not know that!". Gets off with a warning. Hate to say it but the typical #blm person is not a likely voter. Especially now that obama is not on the ticket. But that doesn't prevent them from running the polls and modifying them for a repeat of 2008 and 2012. And hillary is not going to get anywhere near those numbers. Reminds me of the Senate election here in Kentucky in 2012. All of the polls had Grimes up by a few points or trailing McConnell within the MOE the week before the election. The Dems thought they had it in the bag election day. McConnell beat her by 14 points in a landslide. Some of the polls were off by 19+ points because they kept polling based on the results of the 2008 election and confined their polling to Louisville and Lexington. After it was all said and done the pollsters refused to admit they were wrong and said that people must have been lying to them during the entire election cycle. That Daily Caller article on the massive fraud known as the Clinton Foundation, a/k/a Clinton Health Initiative, is almost funny (in a sad, pathetic sort of way).
People just couldn't understand why the Clinton Foundation would continue to do business with (and laud) a company that was under so many investigations, and had insider whistle-blowers saying that it was watering down AIDS drugs. Hmmmmmmm . . . what could it be that was motivating the Clintons to continue doing millions and millions of dollars of business with an obviously shady drug company? Gee, it's a real mystery. Now that you all have saved grammie from sure electrocution (thank goodness), I have a question for you iPhone types.
I have an iPhone 6, which I have had for a year and a half. Yesterday, for some reason, my home screens lost two rows of icons. There is just two rows worth of blank space at the top of each home screen, and the bottom two rows of apps of each screen are missing. It's like when you can do that thing where you pull the screen down temporarily so you can work it with one hand, except that it's permanent. I've tried moving the apps up the screen, but as soon as I let go they pop back down. I can't find anything online or in my iPhone handbook that comes with the phone that addresses this. The closest I can find is to do a home screen reset, but I am hesitant to do that because if it doesn't restore the apps I can no longer see, I don't want to lose the ones I already can see if they switch positions with the factory settings. I apologize for the length of this missive, but I hope you can help me, horde, because you're my only hope. Posted by: bluebell at September 21, 2016 08:08 AM (xpSCc) 155

Just throwing this out there:
I did see a great interview somewhere on Youtube with a former Secret Service team leader who said that the SS detail would be trained to remain impassive and unruffled during any unexpected occurrence. This guy was no Hillary fan, but just looked at the video in great detail from a technical insider's prospective and he says there's nothing to be read into her team acting "routine." At many points he froze the video to praise individual members of the detail for doing their jobs exactly right, saying things like "the female agent remains stone-faced and impassive exactly as she was trained to do-good for her. Good job" In the end he said he would have been proud to have led that team. This may be the real purpose of her 6 days off- in between 12 hour stents in the hyperbaric oxygen chamber and shots of amphetamines and LSD, to meet with world leaders and firm up all the commitments she's made to them privately. Perhaps to let them know the elections in the bag( via voter fraud?). Has he heard about the Clinton Foundation's drug program?
________________________ It's not just their drug program that was dispensing watered-down AIDS drugs to sick Africans (while the Clintons pocketed kickbacks). It's also the massive fraud that was going on in places like Haiti, where the Clintons used their government connections to make their cronies rich (and the cronies paid for their favors with huge "donations" to the Clinton "charity"). In Haiti, a Clinton-crony company was awarded the right to be the only phone service provider on the island. But what good is it to have the monopoly on phone service if everybody doesn't have a phone? So the Clintons got their crony-company a bunch of U.S. taxpayer money to pay for a lot of "free" phones for Haitians -- so that the Clinton-crony company could charge for the (monopoly) phone service used on the Haitians' "free" phones. The Clintons also got the U.S. taxpayer to foot the multi-million-dollar bill for building a big luxury hotel on Haiti. This Hotel isn't used by Haitians but by . . . . the executives of the Clinton-crony phone company. The amount of fraud and graft is absolutely staggering, but what's even more enraging is that one of the chief architects of this massive criminal enterprise may be elected president. It's because no one leaves DC after they leave office. So being able to market yourself to this or that lobby or law firm is key, so you care about those folks not the poor chumps who elected yu.

The Leftist defines you by your identity group and then defines what you're allowed to think, do, etc. And, of course since it's used by the Left, it only is allowed to work in the cause of Leftism. Posted by: Mr. Peebles at September 21, 2016 08:34 AM (iLoHX) 253
BAGPIPES
As a bagpiper, I play many gigs. Recently I was asked by a funeral director to play at a graveside service for a homeless man. He had no family or friends, so the service was to be at a pauper's cemetery in the Nova Scotia back country. As I was not familiar with the backwoods, I got lost and, being a typical man, I didn't stop for directions. I finally arrived an hour late and saw the funeral guy had evidently gone and the hearse was nowhere in sight. There were only the diggers and crew left and they were eating lunch. I felt badly and apologized to the men for being late. I went to the side of the grave and looked down and the vault lid was already in place. I didn't know what else to do, so I started to play. The workers put down their lunches and began to gather around. I played out my heart and soul for this man with no family and friends. I played like I've never played before for this homeless man. And as I played "Amazing Grace", the workers began to weep. They wept, I wept, we all wept together. When I finished, I packed up my bagpipes and started for my car. Though my head was hung low, my heart was full. As I opened the door to my car, I heard one of the workers say, "I never seen anything like that before, and I've been putting in septic tanks for twenty years." Donald Trump Jr.'s Skittles Comparison Used to Be a Feminist Meme About Men and Rapists.
Seems some think the analogy is a throwback to the Nazis ... However they disguise themselves, or however friendly they try to be, affirming a thousand times their good intentions to us, one must not believe them. Jews they are and Jews they remain. For our Volk they are poison.""Like the poisonous mushroom!" says Franz. "Yes, my child! Just as a single poisonous mushrooms can kill a whole family, so a solitary Jew can destroy a whole village, a whole city, even an entire Volk [nation]." ... who knew the Femi-Nazi meme was self selected? But a similar analogy goes back even further... "A bad apple spoils the bin," one journalist wrote in 1898 of the Dreyfus Affair; if one officer is capable of forgery then why wouldn't others be as well? ... and that analogy goes back thru Ben Franklin to Shakespearen times. Think some of it is also that for a lot of them (particularly actors) they hit it big in part by pure luck - right time, right place, happened to have the right look for a role. Not that some of them don't work hard or have talent, but it seems like this luck part of their career gives them the impression that *all* success is luck (so the 1% need to give back what they didn't necessarily earn) and guilt for making so damn much money for what they deep down know is playing pretend. Not so much. Most of the Government buildings that dominate the DC landscape were erected when Brutalism was the dominant architectural style. If you like lots of concrete boxes and above-ground bunkers, then I guess DC is "lovely." And the commercial areas are just cheek-to-jowl two-and-three story boxes that haven't been updated since the 1970's. All of it cut through with streets and tunnels choked with cars. The original thrust of the tea party was against the huge bailouts for too big to fail, too big to jail banks/ hedge fund stuff. On that Trump leans "tea party" imo border control and America First are also tea party issues, on the practical level. And making DC responsive to the little and middle guy that didn't have a voice, also big tea party issue. Trump is tea party on most points. Some "conservatives" and some evangelicals added their issues to the huge grassroots movement, which in some cases only hurt it as they lost focus and sometimes caused divisions. To me Trump is exactly what the tea party was looking for ... or as close as we could get. Posted by: illiniwek at September 21, 2016 08:44 AM (niOEf) 282

agree Dagny, and Jonah gets put on FOX, just yesterday iirc ... and they put other neverTrumpers on. They seem dedicated to equal bashing of Trump and Hillary, even as Hillary makes bad points.
For example (I think this was on RedEye) Liz was saying Trump's and Clinton's bashing each other was useless, they need specific remedy. But Trump saying Hillary founded ISIS (yes a little rhetorical flare) points to her actual record, but Hillary blaming Trump's rhetoric for recruiting terrorists is crazy. The be nicer to terrorists plan has not worked, and they thrive on weakness. Vetting is a real thing. They also argued about the skittles, one saying some of those Skittles would cure cancer, so it would be worth it to bring in the poison ones. (I'm thinking if they could cure cancer they could fight for their country, or be needed in some capacity over there ... and ... well, no, they can't cure cancer, they'll just move here and build safe harbor neighborhoods where jihadists will hide) Posted by: illiniwek at September 21, 2016 08:56 AM (niOEf) 313

Hillary Clinton Vows to Speak 'Directly to White People' to Stop Racial Police Shootings

Hmm...I guess i'll have to "Al Sharpton" myself as the "leader of white people"- thus I shall speak in perfect Oxfordian English when I'm not speaking to you lessers in my authentic Appalachian Holler Voice (TM). I shall dress in a morning coat and spats, except at night when I will wear an evening coat or tuxedo. Oh! and carry a dueling pistol at all times. There that ought to do it. People who rant against the fantasy "religious right" have usually discovered either very young girls, boys, or multi-partner enjoyments. The quick connect systems and flexible pipe are really a game changer, anyone can do it. Change the layout of your house a bit, and you could put a shower in every room about as easy as putting in a base-board heater. Easier if you pre-design the house to have that flexibility. 281 To me Trump is exactly what the tea party was looking for ... or as close as we could get.
One Tea Party issue where Trump is way out in left field is the deficit. That's the main reason I didn't support him in our primary. yeah I hadn't thought of that, but that well pump handle might be a good lightening rod. Did it fry your pump? But I'm still thinking ... that is what the lightning rods are all about, direct the current to ground ... for most city folks they wouldn't have a steel pump sticking up like that for a direct route. ... But no reason to test it in the shower. Posted by: illiniwek
The lightning voltage went down to the pump, then travelled back up that wiring, fried the control panel for the well pump, then stopped there. Fortunately. Wife and I had just gotten home, knew weather was bad, and delayed taking showers. I think it's a good idea. I heard the most hilarious segment on Morning Joe today, I wish I could find the clip but their website is unnavigable. Hillary spokesman Robbie something was on talk about her foreign policy. He kept evading simple questions, saying "I'd have to refer you to her on that". Eventually Willie Geist said, "then why are you here?". It escalated from there. More talking points, more refer to her statements. At least three of the hosts asked a version of "what are you doing here?'. Joe said he was entering Gary Johnson territory. Dear Debate Moderators,
Please excuse Hillary's absence from the debate this week. She is a little under the weather. Well, actually that's not entirely true. She has a session with her speech and language coach to work on her "White People" accent so that she can tell them authentically to stop having the police randomly kill black men. And stuff. Those sessions are pretty darned spendy and they don't give you a refund if you miss your scheduled session, so she won't be at the debates. And just a heads-up. She will probably not be at next week's debate either. Signed: Hillary's mom Posted by: Hillary's mom at September 21, 2016 09:28 AM (wPiJc) 398

One more time.
In a fiat monetary system the deficit represents the extra money that has to be circulated to account for the growth of the economy. Because the central government prints the money - which it destroys after taxation - there is not a problem caused by a deficit in the Federal government. It does not cause inflation - not is it part of the National Debt. Debt taken on by the central government IS a problem. There is absolutely zero reason for the Federal government to borrow money. If you could print money would you ever have to borrow any? Of course not. The debt comes from the left wanting to destroy the US and tricking conservatives into going along with borrowing to cover the deficit. Yes, it is a lovely city in and of itself. Posted by: J.J. Sefton at September 21, 2016 08:39 AM (9P3OG) ===== My suggestion is that headquarters of all the cabinet offices are spread throughout the country. Each hosts full meetings for the others and keeping DC as a museum campus. Posted by: mustbequantum at September 21, 2016 10:01 AM (MIKMs) 462
"A fiscal hawk would accomplish great conservative/ libertarian things by
default. The irresponsible spending is the head of the snake. Chop it off." cooldawg yeah Obama called Bush unpatriotic and irresponsible for going from $5T to $9T, then Barry went from $10T to $20T. Plus he added a lot of promises he/we can't keep ... unfunded liabilities and more government and welfare people than ever that are on the dole for life. Fiscal Hawks are shown pushing grandma over the cliff, even more effectively after 8 years of Obama. So "saving social security" is probably a necessary campaign promise. We passed the Rubicon long ago and went down the rabbit hole, so Trump's new plans don't bother me as much, since reality will set in soon enough. Only then can "hard choices" really be made, as I see it ... so why run on that? The whole idea of "shovel ready" was perhaps workable, but Barry couldn't make the shovel ready jobs and Trump (maybe) could. Obama just subsidized his union friends, and God only knows how much is really missing. My "crazy" idea is to combine what they call "cold fusion" (paying off the debt with QE money, over time, if I understand it correctly), but tie that to a National balanced budget amendment, so the currency maybe stays strong. With unfunded entitlement obligations at $125T (or whatever) we have limited choices. The "unprecedented" QE and ZIRP for 8 years can't continue, unless we just turn the fed reserve loose to prop up stock and bond markets with funny money, as Yellen suggested (or other asset classes, whatever that means) Slow train out, as Bob Dylan might sing. ![]() Posted by: illiniwek at September 21, 2016 10:07 AM (niOEf) 463
Why don't they just play the National Anthem before the teams take the field? Or skip it all together. Personally, if it wasn't there on game day I would not miss it. The way those singers take a hatchet to it, I put it on mute most of the time. They make it all about them. The crowds in the stands start hooting and hollering when the hit the last couple of lines. It's seems like a formality and not a sign of respect.
Maybe do it at the Superbowl, or the college national championship. Otherwise, leave it at the local high school level where parents can still knock some sense into their kids' heads. Posted by: grammie winger's deplorable basket at September 21, 2016 10:15 AM (dFi94) 464
Shower+Thunderstorm
True story: As I was getting out of shower in 'rents NoVa townhouse (second from end unit): lightning hits brink chimney of end unit; travels through wires to light switch of bathroom; sends shock that arcs from switch to my hand; pain! Two seconds earlier, might have been more than a mild shock. Posted by: Gouverneur Morris, deplorable AND irredemmable since the Colonies at September 21, 2016 10:33 AM (dQJCS) 465

Police Shooting + Protest = Wal-Mart Looting Every. Single. Time. Posted by: Circa (Insert Year Here) at September 21, 2016 08:24 AM (B+qrE) At the very first sign of police shooting/protest Walmart should drop steel doors and window coverings and send every employee home. If they are worried about losing customers -- they are not paying customers anyway. If the building is damaged, or retaliation sets in. Close up shop and relocate. Cheaper in the long run. Let them shop in their local establishments, at least the ones that are still standing. This is BS.
