Netanyahu States The Obvious, And The U.S. State Department Doesn't Like It [CBD]

Where Ethnic Cleansing Is Permissible

In a video released by his office last week, the prime minister claimed that what the Palestinians were really after in their quest to force the removal of Israeli settlements in the West Bank was the "ethnic cleansing" of Jews.

The constant attacks on Israeli construction of new homes for its citizens are part of a concerted effort to demonize the Jewish state. That much is clear. Imagine if the United Nations passed a resolution condemning the construction of new homes on land that is American according to history and conquest? We would laugh.

The goal of course is to use international pressure to force Israel to vacate land that the Arabs want as their next step in the destruction of the state of Israel. That it is couched in terms like 'Two State Solution" is mere semantics.

Unfortunately our state department, which has always been conspicuously neutral or pro-Arab, has other ideas.

But the problem with the State Department's view of the issue -- which was criticized by the Donald Trump campaign -- is that it's clear that a two-state solution means a Palestinian state that would be only for Arabs alongside an Israel in which an Arab minority enjoys full legal rights, as they do today.

"Judenrein" was a charming term that the Nazis used to describe their particular brand of ethnic cleansing, and the Palestinian Authority is clearly carrying that torch.

In their plan, large swaths of Israel would be off limits to Jews, but Arabs would have free and unfettered access to all of Israel.

That seems.....insane.

106 The UN, the US, and the EU have all long been in favor of ethnic cleansing of areas. It's only a question of which ethnicities can be cleansed.

Israel made a big mistake in offering citizenship to all the arabs. That was foolish. There were some arabs that were allies in the War of Independence, but outside of them the rest should have been kicked out. But, that deal is long done.

Further, the whole ethnic cleansing of the West Bank of Jews should be a non-issue for Israel, since Israel cannot afford to allow any independent arab states to have that territory. Judah and Shomron cannot go to the arabs - any arabs - and that is the reality fo the situation. Israel's security situation demands that it retain control and it should just annex the lands and kick those arabs the fvck out.

There's a part of me the really doesn't care if teh Joos have been living in Israel for thousands of years. The fact is, they're the only people within a thousand miles that have actually built and maintained CIVILIZATION. Which is reason enough to fully support Israel. They build state-of-the-art technology, world-class art and scholarship. They have taken an arid wasteland and created a paradise, based on nothing more than Man's gift of Reason, and backbreaking hard work.

And they've got hawt IDF babes carrying assault rifles while wearing bikinis on the beach.

On the other hand, the fucking mohammedans are content to live in squalor, wiping their assholes with their bare, left hand instead of using toilet paper like civilized human beings. They are utterly incapable of developing any technology more modern than the Kalashnikov (which was largely cribbed from other inventors' designs in the first place). They leave blood and animal carcasses all over the street to rot in the desert sun during one of their holiest of celebrations. They are so primitive that they trample each other to death in their holiest place, and scoop up the dead bodies with front-end loaders because they have such contempt for life. They slaughter their own kind by the hundreds of thousands, simply because of insignificant differences of opinion on interpretation of their own religion. In fact, the greatest danger to mohammedans isn't the Jews or the Christian Crusaders: it's other mohammedans.

125 I don't understand why any of the various loser ethnicities - fill in the blanks here - always want to run things, when they are manifestly incapable of organizing a two car funeral. To what country would they point as an example of their success? Even countries that USED to run perfectly well turn into train wrecks when they take over.

In their shoes I'd think, "Gee, whatever my other skills, governance is not among them, and I will be better off if someone else runs the damn place." But apparently that line of reasoning is alien to them, all empirical observations notwithstanding.

I believe the invasion was code named Operation Olympic. They were building huge hospitals in Saipan and Tinian to care for wounded. The conservative estimates were that there would be one million US casualties, with about a quarter million dead GI's. Japanese losses were projected to be three to four times that.
Purple Hearts that they were handing out in Vietnam were made for the invasion of the Japanese home islands.

186 F*uck Israel, what about the ethnic cleansing in America (and Canada, Europe, Aus & NZ)?

Wake the fuck up, America! White people are being diluted and dispossessed by third-world savages. When are you going to fight for your ethnic survival? Have you been so conditioned by the Marxist social engineers to hate Americans that you're willing to see them become a minority in the United States?

Every other ethnic group in the world operates ethno-nationalistically except for white people. Do you think your self-loathing is normal?

White people are a global minority (only about 13%) and this is going DOWN! The only people who give a shit are white people. It is time for us to think ethnically in everything we do. Or, to borrow a green slogan--think globally, but act locally!!!

Again. Wake up! If it looks insane for Israel to flood their nation with non-Jews, that's because it is. AND IT'S EQUALLY INSANE FOR US TO DO IT!

This is true. Even though their navy and air force had been all but destroyed, they were still hell bent to continue the war. Their idea was to bleed us so badly we would come to terms. Then the emperor told them to bear the unbearable. He said that if they didn't not only would the Japanese people be destroyed but all of humanity. As I read the history, Hirohito wasn't all that keen on the war, but the real power lay with the Army.

Yep. Both cities were legit military targets with military infrastructure, they were STILL RESISTING.

On the other hand, in Nanking, the Kuomintang had just abandoned the city, and the Japs swarmed in like a pack of the worst serial killers you could imagine. You ever see Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer? A pussycat in comparison to what the average Japanese soldier did in Nanking. Close to 400,000 civilians slaughtered, raped, mutilated in 6 weeks. AFTER the city surrendered. And it was done as official Japanese Government Policy.

In Manila in '45, the Japs slaughtered 100,000 Filipino civilians simply because the Japs were butt-hurt that they were getting their asses kicked.

I have no pity for Hiroshima and Nagasaki. None. Nada. Nyet.

Beautiful.

That having been said, I do have sympathy for Japanese visitors to the Arizona memorial who grin incessantly. (I used to live across the street, in the Navy's Makalapa housing.)

It turns out that Japanese tend to grin not so much when they're amused, but rather when they're embarrassed. It's a totally different cultural signal that I didn't fully appreciate until I lived for a while in Japan.

So I give them the benefit of the doubt, and conclude that they don't grin out of amusement, but rather out of embarrassment.

Posted by: TexasJew at September 15, 2016 08:22 PM (WlLky)

I assume you were responding to my comment - which is why people should take the time to copy the name, at least, and the time of comments they are responding to rather than numbers, which change spontaneously.

I am well aware of the arab allies of Israel and who serves in the IDF, etc. I made that distinction in my comment when I said that citizenship should have only been offered to those who were allies int he War of Independence.

However, there is also a larger issue at play with Israel. Even if all the arabs were great friends of Israel and did their best for the nation, etc, etc. the fact remains that Israel is a Jewish state who's main purpose for existing is to defend Jews and allow all Jews an escape in case anything like the Nazis happens again (and it certainly will). Because THIS is the function of the state of Israel the arab citizenship numbers MUST never be anything more than 5%. Now ... sadly, they have always been far higher than that - round about 20% (and even far more before 700,000 Jews were kicked out of arab countries). That is way too high and, no matter how nice anyone is (as if ...) will always be too high, because Israel is a state with an expressed and important purpose - which is to defend the Jews - and that is not subservient to any of the other notions of "state" that people like to throw around.

Sadly, again ... even Israelis don't really get this, anymore.

Ol' Red would've beaten to a bloody pulp anyone who questioned the use of the A-bomb. The angriest I ever saw him was when he was talking about that after seeing criticism on TV.

238 Thanks for posting this Ace. As someone who is familiar with national socialism, every time I heard someone speak of a two-state solution, I used the concept of judenrein to drive home the similarity in philosophy.

Why can't the Arabs have a state with so-called settlements? Because they can.

But the sad fact is there are several countries that follow this practice, for example our close ally, Saudi Arabia.

Here's your calibration on the Japanese:

1858: a feudal society, houses with thatched roofs, and shoji (rice paper) walls, etc. Totally backward.

Commodore Perry sails into Tokyo Bay and forces them to admit him.

Japanese: "Oh shit, we're way behind! We've got to get our fingers out and get cracking to catch up!"

1905: Japan has built a modern economy, and a modern military, and kicks the crap out of a European power. In less than 50 years.

Now contrast, well, anywhere in Africa or South America. Centuries after first contact with more advanced civilizations they're still ... basket cases who need help. Constantly. When's the last time we sent Peace Corps volunteers to Japan?

It wasn't to demonstrate the power of the bomb. It was to show that we would carry out a total destruction of every man, woman and child if they didn't stop. They could stop it any time they wanted. It was up to them.

P.S. We killed tons more in the 64 civilian-filled wood cities we firebombed before the nukes.

Also, we killed a higher percentage of German civilians than Japanese. All right, important and correct. That's how wars are actually won, which was proven by Japan and Germany becoming two of our most trustworthy, staunch and dependable allies for well over half a century after.

Exactly! For the Japanese, especially, they could only surrender when the threat of total annihilation was looming large over them and when we demonstrated that we would carry it out. Anything short of that and their culture wouldn't allow them to surrender and we'd still be fighting them to this day.

I try to explain this to people with respect to the arabs (who are a harder case than the Japanese, since they aren't nearly as smart). The more we pull our punches with them the more they feel they have to keep fighting. It shames them that we can beat them with two hands tied behind our backs, so they just get more pissed.

many Westerners make a big stink about killing civilians, but with arabs/muslims we're talking about cultures that have no problems with the fathers strangling their own daughters to death for looking at some guy in the street. Individual life is near meaningless to them and our constant whining about poor dead civilians over there just makes them laugh - literally.

And the case of WWII and the alliances after with Germany and Japan show that ruthless fighting has exactly the opposite effect with these cultures than the lefties claim. Beating them to a pulp ALLOWS them to surrender and admit defeat. Dancing around them and just slapping some military people here and there just whets their appetite for battle.

Actually, it was worse than just not doing much to rebuild. The Soviets ruthlessly stripped Germany of every piece of wealth that wasn't nailed down......and most of what WAS nailed down.

Considering how the Germans behaved in Russia, I can't blame the Slavs much for getting some payback.

328 There's a pretty fascinating book, Japan's American Interlude written by Japanese journalist Kazuo Kawai in the 1960s that offers an unpretentious and candid analysis of what Americans and Japanese did right and wrong during the postwar occupation. If you're the kind of nerd who likes that kind of thing, go find a copy at a public or university library (I think it's been out of print for a while).

It has a brief but enlightening bit about the Emperor and how the Japanese viewed him, e.g. The Japanese were confused about how the Americans venerate the US flag, civilians uncovering and putting hand over heart, military saluting. After a few years of the occupation, the Americans told the Japanese they were now allowed to raise their flag over the parliament building. The Japanese were a little confused, because they never bothered to do that before, it's just a flag. But they dutifully complied. Kazuo Kawai's analogy is that the Emperor to the Japanese was like the flag to the Americans, a physical symbol of the country. The Emperor's divinity didn't mean that he could stop the tides any more than the US flag could, but he made the connection that they occupy the same place in the national spirit.

Anyway, really worth reading.

My parents (I'm a very late baby) were part of the occupying force after the war. First my father, then later my mother went over. My brother was born there. The Japanese could not have been more polite and eager to learn and show that they realized they had been beaten. My mother practically killed the Japanese Diet (congress) by hosting a party where she replenished the food and cigarettes. They thought they had to eat/smoke everything provided or they were rude. They had the same car as MacArthur and the Japanese would stop and salute it. They were impressed, and cowed--as they should have been.

Not half a million ... but that is essentially what Truman did right after in Korea.

Truman's greatest act as President was to force unconditional surrender on Japan. But he should have left the White House after that because he lost his nerve. His declaration of limited war (without the goal of winning) in Korea served to set us up for a run of losses the likes of which our country had never seen.

I shit you not, that was done on the sitcom Three's Company. Janet, the one with short dark hair was suspicious of one of Jack's dates. So she rips a business card from her at one point and says, "Aha! The Rapist". "No. It says therapist".

I've learned that whenever I think of a neat pun, I just put it into the search engine and 99% of the time, someone else has thought of it before. As Solomon says in Ecclesiastes, "There is nothing new under the sun". Sometimes the information super highway can be a real downer.

In terms of "demonstration", it wasn't important to demonstrate the power of atomic bombs as much as to demonstrate the WILL to use them.

In fact, all warfare is essentially a contest of the will. While destroying the enemy's military hardware, men and infrastructure is important, it's the utter despair of knowing that you can't win that breaks the will.

408 Just read about the history of the planning for an invasion of Japan, and the astronomical casualty rates predicted. It was called Operation Downfall, and had two phases, Olympic and Coronet.

The geography of mainland Japan made any invasion strategy obvious. They were going to fight to the death. They were already moving heavy defenses into place to counter Olympic. They knew exactly what we're going to have to do, and were going to resist it with everything they had.

It was likely we would've used chemical and/or biological weapons. The casualty rates were so high that that was one the table -- some way to reduce American casualties.

And then the A-bomb project proved fruitful just in time.

The Japanese weren't stupid, they knew that they weren't going to win by early August 1945. Don't forget that the Soviets had just declared war on Japan right on August 9 and promptly kicked the Imperial Army's ass in Mongolia and northern China. And Truman *knew* that the Soviets were going to invade in August 1945, because that was the timeline dictated by the Yalta conference. So I think the bomb, from Truman's point of view, was partly to engender a surrender of the Japanese, but *also* to demonstrate to the Soviets our new big bad weapon, and *also* to hasten the end of the war before the Soviets got any big piece of the action. If Truman hadn't dropped the bomb, and if he had decided to wait on invading the home islands, I don't think it is outside the realm of possibility that the Soviets would have continued to kick the Imperial Army's asses, we would have continued to bomb conventionally the crap of the Japanese islands, and there would have been some sort of surrender once the Japanese mainland army had been totally crushed, but one in which the Soviets had a much bigger voice in the surrender negotiations, and that is what Truman really wanted to avoid.

Actually, it was according to the timeline dictated by the Yalta conference.

Germany surrendered on May 9, and the Soviets were to declare war on Japan three months later. They did so, exactly 3 months to the day. Of course it was to secure their claims in East Asia that Roosevelt gave away at the Tehran conference (e.g. North Korea and Mongolia) and from that point of view it was opportunistic, yeah, but it was a nonnegligible consideration for why Japan surrendered when they did.

I don't have a problem with *any* of that.

Would it have been better if Japan had been partitioned into North Japan and South Japan, like North & South Korea, North & South Vietnam, or East & West Germany?

Would we have fought yet another bloody but indecisive war there a decade or two later?

Not to mention the hundreds of thousands or millions of Japanese who would have perished in the Communist gulags.

I've been to ground zero at both, and they were both pretty much in the middle of town.

And Nagasaki was the secondary target, the original (Kokura) was obscured by smoke from a nearby conventional bombing raid.

This was *Total War*. Civilian were considered enemy combatants (and they were in this case), and the goal was to force surrender by any means necessary.

457 chemjeff, the operations were already to the point of being implemented. The Japanese were teaching civilians how to fight with bamboo spears against M-1's, BAR's, flamethrowers, tanks, and .50 cal's. They were training suicide bombers that would make ISIS look like pikers.
I can see your point about the soviets as they kept fighting for two weeks after the Japanese announced their surrender as Stalin wanted to gain as much territory as possible.
After the surrender, MacArthur pretty much told the Soviets to piss off in Japan. He wasn't going to let them establish a presence in Japan.

461 I think antisemitism is at the core of all support for the Palestinians.

There's simply no reason why any civilized person should support a murderous faction like Hamas or Fatah (which just praised the unjustifiable Munich attack recently) over a functional democratic state.

If the Palestinians were actually a peaceful people, I might be willing to hear what they had to say, but they've never been anything but a band of murderous thugs who want to kill every Jew and plunder everything they've built.

I can't see any reason to respect and elevate that to moral equivalency with a nation trying to defend itself from constant attack.

467 I remember a discussion over 10 years ago on another froum about the Bombing. Some Euroweenie type came on talking about how warlike the US was and we Americans were just barbarian cowboys and how the use of nuclear weapons made us just the most evil country ever. He further argued that Japan was going to surrender anyway, and an invasion likely would not have even needed to happen.

This is a line of thought which pollutes a lot of our own intellectual thinking.

And I remember some guy, who knew his military history, just ripped the Euroweenie apart with a long series of posts just utterly debunking it.

True. I overstayed my 8-hour allotted time in East Germany back in the late eighties by 4 days. I got to see the non-tourist places in and around East Berlin.

LOTS of buildings with bullet holes and lots of buildings where the blown up bits were just patched up. The standard of living was somewhat better than Mexico and Central America, but not by much.

I later worked with a young woman about my age who grew up in East Germany. She had horror stories.

Whole different war if the Russian s have withdrawn behind the Urals, cut off from Murmansk, Moscow looks like Leninburg, and Stalingrad never happens. I doubt we hit Normandy if the Nazis have 30+ divisions freed up.

Had nothing to do with stupidity. It had to do with honor. If they deemed that honor required them to die to the last man, that's what they would do.

Growing up I lived for a while on a Marine Corps base on Honshu. The base commander at the time prioritized good relations with the local community and many base families like mine had a lot of interaction with the local Japanese community.

Japanese society and values of the 1940s had very little in common with today's American society. It is a mistake to assume that Japanese of the 1940s would have made decisions from a way of thinking like our own in 2016 America.

537 488 So Mrs F'd wants a Mazda 3 and we went to drive one tonight. Not a bad little car and if that's what she wants we will get one. We'll just have to overlook that little incident.

I bought a new Mazda 5 two years ago. It's a miniminivan that's based on the Mazda 3 chassis. I love it. I have no complaints, except that the gas mileage in local driving is a little less than I would like. But I don't drive that much, so I'm not going to go broke putting gas in it.

If I had it to do over again, I would buy a Mazda 3 hatchback. It gets better mileage.

My Mazda 5 was built in Hiroshima, which is where Mazda corporate headquarters is and has always been. In 1945, it was in a part of the city that was not affected by the bomb, and they housed the city government for a while afterwards.

538 AOP - Score! I received a 1932 Canadian George V 1 Cent piece in change today. I grade it a VF-20, so worth perhaps $4.00.

*faces north, salutes*

Cool! That is a real old coin to still be in circulation. Makes you wonder how it came to be so. Maybe some burglar stole a coin collection? You wouldn't think a collector would just start spending coins he or she know had value.

539 The last time that I checked, every single Purple Heart that has been given out since WWII has been taken from the stocks that we had in place to handle the invasion of the Japanese homeland.

That, along with our belief that we would be killing/maiming a hell of lot more of the Japanese than ourselves, tells me all that I need to know on the matter.

Several years ago I found two 1970s-era "S" American dimes in circulation, in quick succession. Like only a couple of months apart. The odds of that happening are like winning the Powerball.

Those coins were only issued in proof sets, so the only explanation I can think of is that they were part of a collection that was stolen. The idiot thief spent them for 10 cents, while with a little intelligence he could have broken up the sets, put them in coin holders, and sold them to a dealer for a few dollars.

546 It seems insane because the people who hate Israel and the US are driven by an insane ideology... Islam. Does Islam mean insane in Arabic?
