Virginia Gun Group Whose Testimony Was Deliberately Butchered in Katie Couric Gun Documentary... Now Suing for Defamation
The Virginia gun rights group whose members were deceptively portrayed in Katie Couric’s documentary Under the Gun filed a $12 million defamation lawsuit against the Yahoo News anchor on Tuesday. The Virginia Citizens Defense League filed the suit in federal court against Couric, as well as the documentary’s director Stephanie Soechtig, Atlas Films, and the cable channel Epix. “We were horrified to see how Couric and her team manipulated us and the video footage to make us look like fools who didn’t stand up for the Second Amendment,” said Philip Van Cleave, the group’s president. “We want to set the record straight and hold them accountable for what they’ve done. You shouldn’t intentionally misrepresent someone’s views just because you disagree with them.”You can report any actual facts you like and those are non-defamatory. I remember when NBC cut ten vital seconds out of George Zimmerman's 911 audio to completely reverse the reason for what he said, and 15 crucial seconds out of a post Sandt Hook town hall meeting in Newtown CT that removed the context for the audience calling out answers to one speaker -- same reason. They didn't have ten seconds to spare, leaving the material in would have gutted their news show. I imagine the dipshits privately discussing what excuse to use with smirks on their faces, before issuing these intentionallr ridiculous explanagions to the public.

I saw your question earlier about Kindle Oasis.
I have not tried it. You should read the reviews first - the consensus seems to be that while it is a very nice thin e-Reader, it's a lot of money for not that much more functionality.
For that reason a lot of customers prefer the Paperwhite as an e-reader.
But you should also know that Kindle is releasing the new Fire HD8 I think Sept 21, so if you were also considering a tablet, have a look at that too before you decide.

Yup. There is viral pneumonia and bacterial pneumonia. The bacterial kind is the kind that old people with medical problems get. If you have swallowing issues, a small particle of food can get into your lungs causing bacterial pneumonia. Both of my parents died in their mid to late 90's. Both died of pneumonia. With my mother they tried to deal with it by putting a feeding tube in her, so she wouldn't have to swallow, but it was too late.
I see a feeding tube in Hillary's future. It'll be an efficient delivery mechanism for the booze.

I bet she already has one. They are more common than one might think. Despite being a lifelong non-smoker, the late fiance had cancer of the larynx and for 583 days he had a tracheostomy in place, which made swallowing an issue, so he had a feeding tube and sometimes a pump on the tube. I became very expert in the care of the tracheostomy and the feeding tube. In some of our encounters with home health nurses, we heard horror stories about the patients who smoked through their trachs and poured booze into their feeding tubes. I don't think Hillz is a smoker, but, I can see her pouring booze into a feeding tube.
