According to a report by Al Alam News, translated by IFP, ISIS mandated under brutal enforcement that women in their territory in Iraq and Syria wear a burqa and niqab in the last two years. But this changed, a source told IFP, when a fully veiled woman killed several ISIS commanders and members in the last few months.

Thanks, in good part, to France and the EU. The EU demanded that Turkey alter its constitution to take supreme power away from the military in order to even be considered for EU membership (which the euros were never going to offer anyway - and for good reason). So, Turkey danced the French/EU dance and in 2003 amended their constitution so that the secular military no longer had power to dissolve the government ... and it's all been straight downhill ever since.

I have no problem with the EU not wanting to accept Turkey (I wouldn't) but they didn't have to fuck the place up just for shits and giggles.

The IFP website that is the sole source for the story brands this as "exclusive news". So it's either a news scoop or it's just Iranian propaganda which can't be corroborated (or refuted) easily.

IFP claims that they translated this story from Al-Alam News Network. But who are they exactly? Wiki sez:

The original IFP story states that the burqa is banned only at the ISIS military/security centers, not in general daily life in ISIS areas. The DailyCaller's rehash of the "story" made it sound like ISIS is banning the burqa generally. But DailyCaller was just generating some clickbait, it seems.

Maybe DailyCaller and AoS would do better to mention this to their readers instead of just pumping out this little too-good-to-be-true story line for all the Bubba's to gobble up.
