21 National Parks see rise in obnoxious behavior

I don't care. People are idiots.

And after the way the Park Service crawled on their bellies to enforce the dog-eating crackhead's ukases during the government shutdown, they can FOAD, as well. President Poppins would call in the head of the Service and present him / her / it with a 50% budget cut, implemented immediately by executive order, as payback for their being Barky's brownshirts.

And then, just to show I was serious - I'd cut that 50% another 50%.

22 That flag ban is not only old news but the HS that stupidly did it has already retracted the ban after a mass outpouring of protests from the small town.

I guess Travelers Rest, GA didn't like the bad PR they got when they banned the US flag from their football games.

Students at Travelers Rest High School in South Carolina will once again be able to wave American flags at football games.

An Emerson College poll released Monday found Portman leading former Ohio Gov. Ted Strickland (D) by double digits, 40 to 25 percent, while 25 percent are undecided.

In Pennsylvania, Toomey leads former gubernatorial chief of staff Katie McGinty (D) by 7 points, 46 to 39 percent, while 10 percent are undecided.

Jesse Morton has been hired as an Islamic terrorism expert to work in George Washington Universitys Program on Extremism. Mr. Morton used to go by the name Younus Abdullah Muhammad when he served as a recruiter for the al-Qaeda terrorist network.

Morton (or Muhammad) rose to prominence when he threatened the creators of South Park for depicting Mohamed in a bear costume.

As long as Trump appoints a decent Supreme Court justice for our opening, and any others that may arise, and investigates the Obama Admin and Hillary state department with a fine toothed comb, I don't care if he takes his pants off and wears a wheel of cheese on his head while greeting foreign leaders at a White House summit.

64 Mr. Obama has argued that urgent action is needed. "No challenge poses a great threat to future generations than climate change," he said last year.

So, this momentous challenge, on which the fate of the world rides (per The Purple Lips assessment), doesn't need any Senate input; ya know, that quaint old notion of 'advice and consent'.

Committing the US to billions of dollars in redistribution of our wealth doesn't require any Senate input.

It's merely 'an executive agreement' per this fella quoted, Mr. Deese Nuts.

72 Another "evaluation" buy the Chicago Tribune....Hillary is a stable, smart candidate compared to Trump.

Most important, however, it does not matter. We don't care, and it should not matter, if Trump has "narcissistic personality disorder" or is just a self-centered jerk. Whether he is ill or evil, afflicted or just obnoxious, ailing or inhumane, the result is the same. At age 70, he is not about to "seek help" or change his behavior. He may be unable to change his behavior; he certainly is unwilling to. Whatever the origins of his behavior, the results millions of Americans are concluding make him unfit to serve.

He's reminiscing about Zel Miller challenging him to a duel and saying he worried about waking up on the bank of the Hudson and being offered one of two Confederate duelling pistols.

Bank of the Hudson means Hamilton/Burr. They didn't have Confederate duelling pistols because there wasn't a Confederacy.

Little things like this bother me.

81 RIP Gene Wilder.

Great actor. I loved him as the Waco Kid in Blazing Saddles. (My all-time favorite movie)

I was watching the local news last night and towards the end, I guess they had a couple of minutes to burn. The sports guy and the weather guy were saying how much they liked Wilder, talked about Willy Wonka and Young Frankenstein. The black anchorwoman chimed in she loved him in Blazing Saddles and Blazing Saddles was one of her favorite movies.

I've been saying it for years, most of the political correct crap is just that-crap. I have yet to meet a black person who took offense to that movie. When I first saw Blazing Saddles, it had just come out and the theater that was showing it had an exclusive showing in the Dallas TX area. The theater was in a mixed neighborhood of the city. The place was packed. Every race known to mankind was in there. And people laughed, they laughed a lot. When the movie was over people were talking about their favorite parts of the movie. Still, laughing.

So thanks, Mr. Wilder for the good memories. God speed.

There's also a bit of tokenism going on in this. It's like, "Hey, guess what, one of the contestants is going to turn out to be a black guy. You'll never guess which one it is."

This is what the left does; it objectifies people based on their ability to fit into a certain social cubbyhole: Black, Trans, Mohammedan, HIV-positive, et cetera. Because people are not so much individuals to the left but symbols of whatever ethnic or social group they belong to by virtue of skin color, native ethnicity, sexual proclivity, or disease-having-status.

Absolutely. And, evidently it isn't the first time he's done such a thing.

Also, the local police (their protestations, NOW, after they helped carry out the ridiculous, anti-American and anti-Constitutional policy notwithstanding) should have their chief unceremoniously dumped, too. What a bunch of turds they are.

156 Kidlet #2 didn't change her name. The 'processing fees' and 'document costs' are ridiculous. Don't know if kidlet #1 will be changing her name or not, although at 29 she has an awful lot built up in her own name which could be lost and would be starting over. Sunday is her big wedding day and the madness is reaching peak emotions. She came over to the house at 11:30 last night with craft-type materials for some kind of signage for kid #2 to make.

Apparently I have a shopping trip for costuming in the near future. Blech.

178 Joe Biden was on hand at the Joseph Biden Jr. Train Station to mark the signing of a $2.5 billion loan from the Department of Transportation, an equal opportunity grafter, to Amtrak. Much of this money will be spent on a new high speed train corridor in the Northeast, with top speeds near 185 mph.

Dateline DC, January 1, 2035 -- Today marked the official groundbreaking ceremony of the new Amtrak high speed rail system between Baltimore and the Atlantic Ocean. At a cost of only $432 billion per mile, few cost overruns are expected.

Dateline Baltimore, February 29th, 2084 -- Today marked the inaugural run of the new Amtrak medium speed rail project in our fair city. Unfortunately, the operator fell asleep near the end of the 6 mile run, and the train wound up about 3 miles out in the Atlantic Ocean. A witness described the scene as "like a cow pissing on a flat rock; water went everywhere." The federal government has vowed to cover the cost of replacing the train, estimated at 946 quadrillion dollars.

Doctors are on this tyrannical push to have them be the "life coaches" for their patients and to be able to dictate to their patients how they should live and what they should be eating, doing, and thinking. It's not a joke, either. They are very serious in this effort to take over every aspect of a patient's life as we will let them. And they carry an offensive, smug air about this drive in that they consider themselves more qualified and able to decide what you and I should be doing ... with respect to just about everything.

Doctors need to be knocked down a few rungs to REMEMBER that they are nothing but fee-for-service providers. They are not life coaches. They have no business mucking around in anything that isn't directly related to diseases and ailments they are asked to service and they should really just keep their mouths shut about everything unless and until they are specifically asked by a patient.

The Difference Between Black Hair and Caucasian Hair

I have never written a letter to the editor before, but I just had to respond to a column by Elizabeth Wellington ("Black women and the drama over our hair").

She did not explain the difference between black hair and Caucasian hair.

Black hair is tough, coarse and strong. One can wear it straight, braided, twisted and mohawk it without using gels to make it stand up. Black hair does not have bugs or lice.

Caucasian hair is straight and stringy and can only be combed, brushed and left hanging.

It is black hair that is good hair because one can do anything and everything to it. About 65% of the world has strong, coarse, and tough hair. I bet you won't print my letter.

Between the fact he's 26 years old and still working in fast food (pro-tip--don't commit a crime in your work uniform!), the fact he's named after his father AND grandfather (proud family moment for the Third to make the evening news!), and the cop saying "The mannequin was recovered by the fence line of the Red Roof Inn...you'll have to use your imagination to figure out what th suspect was doing with that" (don't know how the cop kept a straight face!), and the fact this bozo stole 2 wigs for the mannequin, my sides hurt!! Maybe he can still collect some money and find a good "Slip and Fall" lawyer, he hit the floor hard in that store--but not as hard as he hit the mannequin, lol!

Yep ... doctors refuse to report illegals who can't provide any legitimate paperwork, at all, and whose care will be paid for Americans ... but they are enthusiastic about treating every American male as being guilty of domestic abuse as an assumption and constantly looking to collect "evidence" to make a court case against him. Unreal, really.

And it's really nice how a parent has to go through the third degree to get a child care. I broke bones as a kid - because breaking bones is part of being an active kid. Nowadays, a kid with a broken bone means that the whole medical staff is assuming the parents beat the kid and must force the parents to undergo interrogation about everything. Assumed guilt ... and the doctors and nurses love this shit.

I've had more arguments with doctors, explaining that police work is NOT their job (though it would be nice if they reported illegals with no papers or false papers since that directly affects the hospital's ability to operate for those of us who actually pay for insurance and services) and they should be ashamed of what they are doing. But they are PROUD to be assuming that all parents are guilty of abuse and defend their interrogations to the very end. It's pathetic.

BarkyCare was saved in the final days by that Maine hag answering "the call of history" - and the GOP never did anything to punish her.

Further, the GOP was given power back in 2011 for the expressed purpose of repealing BarkyCare. Over the ensuing months and years the GOP House had more than a handful of "must-pass" funding bills and debt-limit raises ... and they did exactly NOTHING about BarkyCare. But they did manage to give Barky every cent he ever asked for and every debt-limit raise he insisted on ... all without strings. Because they are just a great bunch of guys!

Almost all of the GOP didn't vote for BarkyCare (and they really didn't do anything to really try to stop it, like forcing even ONE version of one of the 2500 page bills floating around to be read aloud - not even ONE VERSION) but they certainly did their best to make sure that they didn't even try to repeal it after they were voted in for that single, specific reason.

It's a veritable blizzard of wit.

296 Facebook makes corporate real estate location decisions based upon the company's perception of how progressive the state involved might be. Texas was an issue for them, but they have a history in Austin and the company managed to convince itself Austin is a harbinger of what's to come in Texas. But forget new facilities in places that are "hard" GOP and look to stay so.

We must win. And we must take our revenge on companies like this or they will not learn.

Didn't one of the Maine Sisters vote for it because "History was calling?"

IIRC, Olympia Snowe voted to report the original Senate version of the bill out of committee.

298 I'm going to buck the trend and avoid the ruminant puns.
I'm going to try to stagger through them regardless.

299 The DIABLO hag and one other RINO voted it out of committee knowing the Democrats had 60 votes. So you might say that.

Snowe was the deciding vote to get the bill out of committee. It could have been killed before it got to the floor for a vote, but no.

Paranoia is tiring. I'm looking at the projected path and saying "yeah, everything will be absolutely fine here as long as the storm makes a hard right tomorrow morning".

Does it know it has to turn right? What if it doesn't listen to its GPS' annoying voice and misses the turn???

308 One of the aspects of American black culture that I won't ever understand is their obsession with hair.

Stanford at one point offered a SJW course in "Black Hair As Culture And History". (Yes, that's what sixteen thousand tuition dollars per academic quarter gets you at Stanford.)

And there was the recent case of the black mother who sent her black daughter to school with the daughter's hair down. The daughter asked her white teacher to help her pin her hair up. The teacher pleasantly obliged with that ordinary request.

When the black mother found out about this, she went absolutely ballistic, contacted the school, and demanded the white teacher's ass on a platter. The mother then said some stuff about how white people are constantly intent on getting their hands on black people's hair and she wasn't going to stand for any more of it. Just utter paranoid lunacy, straight up, no chaser.

310 Donner and Blitzen erroneously tested out the joke about holding a 1
Iron above their head, "because not even God can hit a 1Iron".

Cue the scene in Caddyshack starring Henry Wilcoxon as the priest having the best day of his life.

Wilcoxon was one of Cecil B. DeMille's favorite actors. You've seen him as Pentaur, the pharaoh's commander of charioteers, in The Ten Commandments.

311 >>Annaliese Nielsen

She make Amanda Marcotte seem....well, not sane, but less crazy.

She is the classic SJW bully: She attacked that Lyfte driver - just would not drop it until he finnally droped on her on the cirb. She gets him fired. She then starts agitating on twitter to get Lauren Southern banned from twitter.

She started it. She could have just expressed her offense and then dropped it. No, she had to escalate, non-stop personal insults and threats until the guy can take no more. Then she attacks those who noticed she was a bully.
Hate these people.
