There is finally an alternative to social media outlets like Twitter that takes a firm stand against corporate censorship. This new platform is called GAB and you can find it here. The site is not specifically conservative in orientation (although a lot of conservative and libertarian types have gravitated to it), but it is aggressively free speech orientated. From their guidelines page: Gab's mission is to put people and free speech first. We believe that the only valid form of censorship is self-censorship, an individual's own choice to opt-out. Gab empowers users to self-censor and remove unwanted followers, words, phrases, and topics they don't want to see in their feeds to help stop and prevent different forms harassment. However, we do take steps to protect ourselves and our users from illegal activity. They are currently in beta, if you go to their page you can request an invite by entering your email address. I just got my invite, if any of you Morons decide to start a GAB account, feel free to add me as a friend (@weirddave). Ace has ALWAYS been my favorite political site. And I have been right in that! Just lookit: . Hot Air lost its mind and went to Facebook. A useless site now. . NRO lost its mind, basically started campaigning for Hillary, and went to Facebook. . PJ Media is what has me so frustrated at the moment. There's a thread over there about Target boycott, and for the last two days, it has been completely OVERRUN by two or three guys who sit there all the time, constantly replying to just about every post, usually with personal attacks. One responded to a comment of mine by calling me a "gash" and saying he didn't know how men could stand to marry the things. I reported it. Nothing happened. Today I check it out, and he's still there (along with the other two or three), spamming, personal attacking, and trolling. I wrote to the contact address at PJ Media. Tonight I get on and someone has said he doesn't want his daughter sharing bathrooms with men, or some such, and this guy replies, "Your daughters crack probably stinks. No one would want her anyway." I reported that, too, and heaven knows what all I've missed, since I haven't read all of the thread. (Kind of pointless, since this guy and one or two others just respond to every post with personal attacks, so the whole thread belongs to them.) What the heck is going on? Happy to say that Ace is still my favorite site, where men are men and don't stand by and allow this sort of thing. I swear, it's going to get to where Ace is the ONLY place worth going to.
