I've watched the results in the LaTimes daily poll. Yes, AA support rose from 4% to 14%. That's huge. At the same time middle class -- which I would define as working poor to middle middle class -- dropped by concurrent amounts.
Some people see AA's as moving ahead at their expense. You have to accept the premise that that is possible.
Winning strategy is one thing. Breakeven is another. I want to beat Hillary. Busing children from one underperforming school to one slightly more proficient isn't the answer, but that could very well be what they see would happen.

Being in the Navy for 20+ years I saw that phenomenon happen more than a few times. Everyone expected stuff to happen with lighting speed with a new President, especially a Democrat, but it does take time to change the course of most Bureaucracies.

I like Apple products, I've used both and I don't even think its close how many fewer problems I have with compared to Android or Windows.
But I definitely hate Apple as a company under SJW Tim Cook.
Totally agree. I even run Windows in a virtual machine on my mac and it runs faster and better than my old Dell XPS ran it. But Tim Cook is the worst, and Apple Music is inexcusable - Moog was a great service. Beats bought it and kept the quality, only fiddled with the interface. Apple bought beats and destroyed the music quality and presented an interface from hell. Jobs would have murdered the VP in charge of that- worse quality and worse interface? But it's been a few years now and Cook seems fine with it.

Using IE means a few extra steps...and yes some of the Military site ONLY work on IE and NOT Edge and not any of the other Browsers. And at least in my experience IE does not work as well in Windows 10 as it did in Windows 7 ( Windows 8 sucked also)

I agree with all that, especially when it comes to modeling, but at a certain point I feel like a delusional cult member if I have to explain away 99% of the polling done.
Also, unfortunately this stuff does trickle down and becomes a self-fulfilling prophesy.
The media publishing poll after poll showing Trump losing is far more damaging than calling him a KKK member.
I just don't know who to believe anymore, but when I see a real lopsided poll and it has like 20% Republicans, 35% Democrats, of course the candidate with a (D) after their name will be comfortably ahead. It's also not based in reality.
I firmly believe Republican turnout will be higher in 2016 than both for Romney and McCain.

I've been using Macs since the late 80's, and I have never had a problem with an update.
Some ancient software that's like 15 years old might not work (like say a 20 year old game) but otherwise its pretty painless.
Major Windows updates though, totally different dynamic.

I'm torn. Its obvious the media lies, a lot, and gleefully to us. Its obvious that polling is trash, that the pollsters themselves are complaining they can't figure out how to do it any more, and that the last 10 or so big elections have been different than the pollsters said. Its obvious that the internal numbers are junk.
But the problem is, almost all of that was true in 2012, too.
So I've come to the conclusion that the polling as listed isn't accurate to real votes, but its the expected outcome including fraud.

Hispanics are telling my wife and me the same thing. Not just a few either, but almost every Hispanic we know. These same friends and relatives were horrified at Trump this time last year.
I know that the plural of anecdote is not data, but this seems to be a thing.

No idea if it will be material to the outcome, but there certainly will be some atypical voting behavior among black and Hispanic men in this cycle. An alpha male+ vs. the first female candidate.
A little while ago a friend texted the gist of a Pew survey that showed the two candidates essentially tied among "English dominant" Hispanics. Makes sense, and not just among males, for the cultural reasons cited above. Do not know the internals on the survey, nor how they define "English dominant" (or more importantly how they ensure the sample matches their definition).
But again, quite plausible. Could be behind on my demos, but I think all this only really matters in VA and OH, maybe FL. And probably only the black vote details matter in those key states (dunno, maybe Hispanics now might be numerous enough in one/more of those states to affect the outcome). In solidly red/blue states, where many Hispanics live at least, it is unlikely to matter. If it is a T-Rump wave (possible), then OH/FL/VA won't matter anyway.

Just last month, Hillary gave a seat of honor to Taliban Dad, only a month after he sent his Jihadi Junior out to slaughter the gay bar. Bill's the Father of the Korean Bomb and she's the Mother of the Iranian Bomb.
