Oh Boy: Emails Reveal That Top Hillary Aide Researched Drug Used to Combat Parkinson's and Alzheimer's, Then Passed Information on to Hillary

Ehhhh... this is kind of misleading but let's roll with it.

Sullivan, Clinton’s top foreign policy adviser, was researching the drug Provigil for Clinton at the State Department in 2011, the Daily Caller reported.

Sullivan emailed Clinton information on Provigil and told her about its use and history. Sullivan noted in an email that Provigil is used for narcolepsy and treating patients with Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, and Multiple Sclerosis who have excessive sleepiness.

Sullivan also noted that Provigil is often prescribed to treat “excessive sleepiness in patients with Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s and multiple sclerosis.”

He stated that Modafinil–the drug’s original name–“gained attention in the medical community because it is the first effective stimulant with no significant potential for abuse” before explaining “it can be used for two to three day stretches at a time, with few known side effects and little risk of addiction.”

Eh... I've looked into provigil myself, when I was more concerned about my lack of focus after I quit smoking. (I've since given up trying to cure that, and have just accepted that I'm kind of dumb.)

It's also prescribed to improve alertness and sometimes to treat ADD-ish symptoms. It could be used to treat a whole host of diseases, so long as the symptoms include reduced focus and mental fatigue (which is many of them).

Still -- is the smartest woman in the world having trouble staying sharp and awake?

I know why my alertness declined: because I quit smoking.

Why did Hillary's suddenly fall?

Meanwhile, increasing chatter about Hillary's admitted medical condition, hypothyroidism.

By the way, the media is of course in Circle the Wagons mode around Hillary.

CNN's very liberal media critic (would they hire any other kind?) calls Sean Hannity's questions about Hillary's health "reckless."

And yet his colleague at CNN, Sanjay Gupta, has penned an article asking if Trump is at high risk for heart disease.

Will Stetler mention this? Of course not; the Guild knows its own and the Guild protects its own.

Thanks to a guy who sent this in but I don't know his screenname.

30 I can tell you from experience that hypothyroidism affects brain function. Besides being tired, one can get excessively emotional, and make more mistakes (at work, for instance, resulting in loss of revenue...:/ ). 114 There are entire clinics now which have general practitioners who see exclusively geriatric patients. A reflection of an aging society.

There's a simple test which they often run with the elderly during an office consult: ask the patient to sit down on the floor and then to get back up again unaided. Inability to rise from the floor without help is reliably prognostic of a bunch of trouble on the way. Muscular atrophy, cardiovascular insufficiency, balance deficits.

It would be awfully interesting to have a debate questioner ask both Trump and Hillary just to sit down on the floor and get back up again. Not that the networks and the debate commission would EVER let such a question be asked, mind you.

116 There is also a strange little bit of video that I saw yesterday.

Hillary is walking outside with Al Sharpton and others in the background.

Her hand goes up to the bridge of her nose and out nowhere a female arm (probably Huma - looks like one of her dresses) swipes her hand away from her face.

Then Hillary moves her hand up to her mouth and coughs.

It was so bizarre. Like a mother and child. Who in their right mind would grab an adult woman's arm away from their face? And a woman that is not only former first lady, former SOS, but the current Dem nominee for President.

Huma is monitoring her in real time. No doubt. Handlers everywhere.

127 Someone mentioned making a post about a Pew poll on religion in a previous thread.

Pew are idiots. They did a poll of Utahns to see if there was support for the Bears Ears National Monument. Their result was YES! and all the MSM ran with it.

A lady that lives in that area looked at the people polled and realized NO ONE from the area was polled. No San Juan county locals, no native americans in the area, nada. Brandon Finnegan style she conducted her own poll.

Guess what? Overwhelming opposition to it from people that actually live there.

http://preview.tinyurl.com/jm2qk99

Hippies and mommy bloggers in the SLC/Provo area might think a new monument is just swell, they only visit there once a year at most and have NO idea what the actual community needs. Escalante area community was devastated from the Clinton exec order, Obama's would do the same.

I've never stared into the abyss. I'm afraid that if I approach it and look down, I might like what I see and the appeal of whatever it is that's down there would be irresistible. So I remain static for long periods, moving through time but no other dimension, wondering if the one-way road from past to future is that which I'm avoiding, because the metaphor of the abyss is invisible, that I can't see that I've been in its depths all along.

203 127 Someone mentioned making a post about a Pew poll on religion in a previous thread.

Just anecdotal but my grandfather had Parkinson's and while his body totally deteriorated his thinking was unaffected. He still knew when it was time to feed the cat - and having a feeling for time is about the strongest proof one can have that a person is still of their right mind. When the mind deteriorates, the sense of time is the first thing to go.

That is my personal experience with Parkinson's and my general understanding is that it does not affect the mind. The drugs they give affect the mind more than the Parkinson's - that's for sure.

In fact, and this is proven, taking statins to lower cholesterol carries its own risks.

Trump would probably be healthier if he weren't taking htem.

yeah, that's generally true. Wiki mentions "thinking and behavioral problems may also occur". But indeed the physical is the main thing, unlike dementias. I was just trying to put a mental aspect of it to Hillary.

If it was Huma swatting her hand away, it's a sign of a nurse type being protective over the patient doing something wrong or being proactive. Knowing what sets them off.

A just God would display such behavioral tics/spaz during the debate. Like when the moderators say "Secretary Clinton, tell the American people what unique skills you have" and she does the herky jerky eye rolling followed by cowering scared blending into uncontrollable laughing when the moderators get her attention again.
