8 Drudge has a report about trying to curtail cow emissions... serious
article from Bloomburg....Show a picture of a device to attach to a cow:
I kid you not! Looks funny as hell!

In Argentina, home to over
50 million cows, researchers from the Argentina National Institute of
Agricultural Technology (INTA) are attempting to use "methane
backpacks," plastic contraptions attached to cows, to capture methane
from a cow's digestive tract. The technology is in its early stages, but
so far the backpacks have been able to extract 300 liters of methane a
day, enough to power a car or refrigerator, according to INTA.

Again, it suggests, not just that he might have done something wrong, but that reporting whatever DID happen to him was not something he thought would do any good.

So doing something like telling his mother was how lots of people tell about bad things, when going to the cops isn't really a viable option.

With the exception at the end about tariffs and trade, it was a grand slam homer. If he attacks Hilary and the Democrats on their 50 year record of Black genocide, he can keep them on defense and change a narrative that has stood at least that long.

Let's see. Dubya warned Louisiana several days ahead of the storm, offered help and was turned down by Blanco and Nagin. The storm hit, but the bulk of the destruction was caused by the levee breaking. And the construction and maintenance of which were the responsibility of Blanco and Nagin, and was a corrupt money pit and boondoggle for decades. And it was all Bush's, conservatives', whitey's fault.

And SCOAMF golf's when Louisiana is hit with a horrible natural disaster. Of course, no coincidence whatsoever that Bobby Jindal is the governor and most of the areas hit are GOP (I assume). And New Orleans will vote Clinton 110% anyway.

173 Good morning, and happy Friday, youse guys!

A bit more about my annoying lawn mower engine troubles I mentioned yesterday:

With gasoline seeping through the carburetor, and into the crankcase, the oil gets diluted, and stops doing what oil is supposed to do. Result....engine runs hot, then hotter, then hotter, until it eventually seizes up.

Not so in my case, as I caught this early. I took apart the carburetor again yesterday, cleaned, and checked everything. All the seats are fine, all the needle valves are in good shape. The float is fine, moves up and down, doesn't hang up on anything. It's all reassembled, fresh oil, and I'll try adding gas, and running it this morning.

Then I'll take apart the air cleaner assembly, expose the carburetor, and monitor for any further gas seepage. If the problem continues, I guess I could try a carburetor rebuild kit....but I don't think it needs this. Even if it did, it would need only the needle valve, and I can pick something like that up for around a dollar. Instead, I'll probably just go ahead and replace the carburetor. :/

200 Just an observation (and I'm repeating myself (for the eleventy seventh time)):

That our rulers lie to us is bad enough, but when we tolerate it, as we have allowed ourselves to do by making lying to us a cliche', mundane, accepted SOP - that's worse. And worse yet, is when our rulers realize that we have allowed ourselves to accept being lied to and they then take it for granted that they can lie to us with impunity - that's when, like now, when things get extra special dicey.

They can say ANYTHING to us. ANYTHING. And that is what they are doing. And when they can say anything to us, they can do anything to us. And that is also what they are doing.

Obama has, not spent, but given and frittered away billions, possibly hundreds of billions of dollars, with absolutely no oversight or appropriation of that money from congress. Congress has enabled virtually every illegal act that Obama has pulled off by perpetrating an elaborate theatrical charade, pretending to do what they've been elected to do.

This goes way deeper than that, but - bottom line - accepting lying shouldn't be, I don't think, regarded superficially. It is much, much too dangerous to regard it that way and that is, again opinion, exactly where we are living right now.

DAYTON, Ohio An Ohio woman was robbed Thursday afternoon by a pair of teenage boys who used potatoes she'd just bought to attack her, according to Dayton police. The robbery happened in Dayton in the 3700 block of North Main Street. The woman told 9-1-1 dispatchers that two boys dressed all in black stole her wallet, money, cigarettes and her bag of groceries with onions, celery and potatoes inside."Did they have weapons? Did they display a gun or a knife or anything?" the 9-1-1 dispatcher asked."They took my potatoes and threw them at me," the woman said. "They were my bag of potatoes from Save-A-Lot."

She should have used those potatoes to defend herself.

I had a friend who was walking home from the grocery store with a bag of groceries. She could see a guy eying her across the street, then all of a sudden he came running towards her and she knew he was after her purse.

She didn't hesitate at all - dropped her bag of groceries, whacked him upside the head with her heavy purse (a la the old Ruth Buzzi character from Laugh-In), then took off for the police station, dripping blood from the glass jars that broke when she dropped her groceries.

She was tall, blonde, blue-eyed, beautiful, and knew how to take care of herself. You guys would have loved her.

“Syrian refugees flood in. Illegal immigrants convicted of committing crimes get to stay, collecting Social Security benefits, skipping the line. Our border open. It’s more of the same, but worse.”Mid-way through the 30 second spot, the voiceover transitions to what the USA would be like under a Trump presidency: “Donald Trump’s America is secure. 391 We'll never know the motive.

--

Oh, yes we do. The motive-du-jour is now "mental illness." Apparently, it's all the rage and it's very, very contagious. Why, it's almost like we're hearing the mental illness/allah ackbar angle more and more for some reason.

392 She clearly said Powell said to use a private account for all mail that wasn't confidential - which she didn't do. The MFM shorthands her statement and viola, no issue because the American government's version of Morgan Freeman said it was okay.

393 Here you go, Lady in Black:

Put some chicken pieces (uncooked) in a baking pan. Best ones for flavor and LCHF-ness are chicken thighs with the bones and the skin, but you can use anything.

Drizzle on a little olive oil, rather a lot of lemon juice (and please make it the bottled kind, to make me feel validated. Thank you.), garlic powder (none of this fresh stuff for this recipe), oregano, and salt and pepper.

Bake uncovered at 375 until it looks like something you'd want to eat, maybe 45 minutes to an hour. The skin gets all brown and crispy and there will be a lot of juices in the pan (part of the reason you want to use a lot of lemon juice).

Serve with rice to soak up the pan juices.

395 So I just watched the Mini (Car) commercial where the Muslim Fencer takes her mask off, and says "Muslim"

Then the end of the commercial says to defy labels?

This woman has been self-labeled as not an American olympian, but as a Muslim who fences.

Can anyone name one self identified Baptist, Catholic or Agnostic American Olympic competitor?

I guess the next step will be a female Muslim wearing a rainbow printed Hijab?

Followed by a voice-over about not labeling.

397 377 Will the Olympics ever be over? Are we supposed to be surprised that the millennial generation of athletes, pampered and mostly professional have shown their asses in Rio? The Olympic ideal that NBC has created? Bad sportsmanship, cultural division, loutish behavior, sounds about par.

So, Ashton Eaton, a masculine, powerful and heterosexual American won the Olympic Decathlon for the second straight Olympics.

How much coverage did he get?

About 2 minutes last night. They interviewed him.

It's never been done before, but there is no room for masculine heterosexual patriotic heroes in sports today.

(By the way, he acknowledged prior USA gold medal decathletes, but left Bruce Jenner out.)

Of course, the MFM and lefty cocksuckers gloss over the fact that the story was immediately plausible because that kind of shit happens every few minutes in Central and South America.

Posted by: J.J. Sefton at August 19, 2016 09:11 AM (9P3OG)

I don't which one of the founders it was, but one of them is quoted as saying that you could not totally eliminate corruption and malfeasance in government because it was staffed with humans. The only thing you can do is minimize it to the smallest amount possible by minimizing government to the smallest amount possible.

But since the end of the uncivil war that has all gone out the window. Silent Cal rolled it back some during his day, but those gains were immediately wiped out by Hoover and FDR and steadily made worse.

I continue to be amazed at the amount of coverage devoted on Fox, and CNN to Ryan Lochte and his gang in which a parade of experts, from lawyers to psychologists are debating why, how, and what happened trying to excuse it.

You know, it's simple. Spoiled dumbass swimmer, who is still a mama's boy at 32, goes to the Olympics, blows off his last race(Lochte came in last I believe, in his last race against Phelps) then goes out with three other swimmers in Rio for the entire night, drinks at a club, picks up prostitutes, then on the way back to the Olympics at 6 am, has taxi pull into a gas station and then behaves like juvenile frat boys, breaking down doors, one actually relieves himself outside(saw that video this morning), trashes the restroom, then when they finally find their taxi at the gas pumps, the station manager comes outside and tells security guard to hold them there because they vandalized the place. Police are called(which is why the sec. camera shows them sitting outside on the curb), through a translator , one of them, appears to be Lochte, offers to give them money to let them go. They leave.

According to CNN it is now being reported that the US consulate and the Rio police knew this happened on Monday. It was to be let go by the police per agreement with the US consulate and Rio officials.

Then frat juvenile Lochte told his mummy that they were pulled over and robbed at gunpoint. Mummy starts telling everyone about this, story gets out, and NBC asks Lochte on camera about it.
Lochte tells whopper story of how he and gang were pulled over by someone with no lights, etc. but wearing a police badge and robbed at gunpoint while they were told to be on the ground and Lochte said he refused, but then had a gun held to his forehead, cocked, and then he said 'Whatever".

Two days later when the police began looking at surviellence video from the Olympic village because of Lochte telling an international audience that he was robbed at gunpoint, Lochte is again interviewed and says , "Well, really we were at a gas station and this guy came over and robbed us at gunpoint".

And he flees Rio as fast as he can, while his teammates are detained on a plane in order to find out their version of what happened.

Teammates tell police story is totally made up. Video released, and now Lochte is saying the video is edited, blah blah.

And a bunch of people are still believing him. No wonder there are Hillary supporters who still think she didn't lie.

420 Perhaps Ryan Lochte should not have been drunk but even the Brazilian police are saying he was robbed at gunpoint by a security guard (police officer in some accounts?)

They are saying the robber/guard was just imposing a "fine" for damages done to a bathroom (damages being undefined and with no pictures that have been released to back that story up).

Sounds like third world policing embarrassed the Brazilians and they are striving mightily to blame the people who reported it.

422 What bugs me the most about the Lochte thing is that HE never did report it. His mother did.

What does that tell you about Ryan Lochte?

That he ran up mommy's credit card, that she gave him for an "Emergency", to the limit at the strip-club?
