The closest Chik-Fil-A to me is in a mall about 45-50 minutes' drive away. I've never been. The older I get, if something isn't within 10 or so minutes of me, I'm not going there. Eventually I'm going to end up like the house in Spider Baby, just a shut-in crazy person killing anybody unfortunate enough to come through the door.

As far as I know video RAM is treated just like motherboard RAM unless it is being used by the program for video. So if you are using a non-game type program that does not use a lot of video then the excess RAM available would be used as normal memory.

Its an older program. Corel Draw 11. It's a 32 bit program so I guess it can only use up to two gig of ram.

Special 'video' RAM might be identified as such on dedicated video capture cards or GPUs. However I don't get the impression your trying to figure out how NVIDIA managed to screw up CUDA access to memory.

Your likely hitting a wall with the OS and applications eating most of your 8gb a d having 32bit addressing problems. You need more RAM, and likely a better OS.

Probably both. If it is locking up on a save command with a total of 10G of RAM something is wrong with the program. I recommend getting a newer version of Corel Draw or a different program that will import the file.

Another issue could be Corel, or some other program, not releasing memory even when it is done (if it's been running for some time it gradually hogs all you memory) in which case you need to reboot.

Thing may be that since it is a 32 bit program it isn't that there isn't enough RAM overall but that stuff is operating in the same address space because of what kind of memory it is.

Did you read the link I posted from SC DNS? They outright said that crows were protected under the federal migratory bird law and you had to have a federal permit unless they were taking crops. So State rules must comply just like ducks.

They ruled that ratified treaties took precedence over the Constitution and amounted to the same thing as an amendment.

They also didn't mind foreign money coming into Obama's campaigns in 2008 and 2012. Remember when it was revealed that the Obama people had deliberately disabled the security feature on their website's credit card payment portal, so that they could accept foreign donations (which are illegal).

They accepted all sorts of foreign money, and foreign influence as well. There was a group of Palestinians who were publicly campaigning and fundraising for Obama, in Palestine. And there was probably worse going on in places like Pakistan and Iran, that was not public.

Crows are covered by the migratory treaty, but they are not treated as migratory "game" birds. So, there is no federal stamp, and no prohibition on "taking." Federal law only requires that their hunting be controlled under state law, and limits the length of the season. Except in Hawaii. No crow hunting in Hawaii. Because goddess, I'm guessing.

And ever since...we stop every chance we get.

The family vacation to the Charleston has a mandatory overnight layover at Pedros on the way down.

It's in January so we are almost always the only souls there. It's like a ghost town. I always think of the deserted boardwalk in "Big."

It is such an obvious tourist trap that you go in there once just to see it. I have the vague memory of billboards and cigaretts so I always thought they were selling cigaretts because taxes were lower in South Carolina. And then the thing just evolved.

Bandersnatch is right. The most recent popular use of gadabout was with Gadabout Gaddis and his fishing show. It was just so cool how he cold fly his plane into these remote locations. Damn, my friends and I loved that show and would stop a game to go inside to watch it. I seem to recall a line of Gadabout Gaddis fishing gear that none of us kids could afford.

I always thought the popularity of Gadabout led to Jerry McKiniss' Fishin' Hole show, which was my all-time favorite fishing show. It was simply a pleasant half hour every week, had damn good production values, and I loved his Dachshund.

Before I-95 was built we used to laugh at them when they were going back and forth on US 441 with their studded snow tires in the Winter just roaring away.

I guess there is some discussion that the owner of SOB exerted influence on the layout of I-95 to bring it right next to SOB, which was already in existence at that time.

And if you look at the map, it does look like the road path dips down for no apparent reason other then to get close to SOB..

Several of Mrs VIA's ancestors are buried in the Stewartsville Cemetery in Scotland County N.C.
so it's also nice to lay over and visit them when we are there.

I suspect it had more to do with the Contrary Swamp which is there near SOB. back in those days I don't think SOB was a big deal as it is now.
