It was the same stupid stuff with the Trayvon Martin case, the prosecutor over-charged and Zimmerman was exonerated of the charge. They should've charged him with what they had evidence for...maybe manslaughter? SOME-thing would've been better than nothing.

Second, we learn that she is a mom. So it seems she is claiming that momhood caused her to persue inflated charges, but now her reason has overruled her emotions and she is finally doing the right thing.
Third, we learn that many needed changes have occurred at the BPD. This is the ole okey-doke. Those changes could and should have been made without a vicious persecution of 6 police officers; in fact they would have been made anyways. But no, she wanted some extra pounds of flesh, and was willing to dump millions in taxpayer dollars in a futile effort to extract them.
And you have to wonder how much more the city could have done if they didn't piss away all this money. Well, at least she didn't get a speaking spot at the DNC, unlike the former mayor with her 'give them room to destroy' comment about the rioters.

I'm glad that Trump is swinging against Hillary. The media scrum will
keep some of this stuff in the headlines for days -- CNN for example,
issued a breaking news alert saying essentially that Trump called for
Russia to hack Hillary's e-mails.
Anyone fairly following the
Hillary e-mail story knows, however, that those e-mails were wiped from
Hillary's server and that the server resides now in the FBI. If Russia
(or anyone) releases those e-mails, its because they already were
hacked. The White House is calling this a national security issue now.
You know when it was a national security issue? When Hillary Fucking
Clinton decided to act with gross negligence and conduct all of her
business on her bathroom server. That's when!
Frankly, if the
hackers release the e-mails, it will probably do our intelligence

Yes, it was Mosby's own team that did most of the "investigation," which apparently consisted mainly of going down to the jail and getting Donte' Allen (the other guy in the back of the van) to change his initial story (given on the day of the incident, in which he insisted that the ride was "smooth" and that he had heard Gray banging around on the other side). The problem was that Allen was an exceptionally bad liar, and his coached second statement was so contradictory and stupid that it hurt, rather than helped, the prosecution's case. It also didn't help that the prosecution failed to disclose to the defense that they had gone down to the jail to "help" Allen remember a better story than the one he had told first. The other part of Marilyn's "investigation" consisted of pressuring the medical examiner to change her initial opinion on the death from accident to homicide.
It wasn't that the police botched the investigation, it was simply that Mosby's team was unable to teach their compromised witnesses how to commit perjury more effectively.

BLM has truly gotten out of control (at least some parts of it), but the Democrats have no choice but to double down on it.
The Democrats will poll a solid 40% of the vote, no matter what they do. But is that a ceiling or a floor?
Based on their present actions, words and the convention itself, it may be a ceiling.
If it is close, don't underestimate the power of the Democrats to cheat and steal and make up votes.
For Trump to win in November, he has to be out of the range of the Democrats to cheat and steal votes, especially in Pennsylvania and Florida. Probably Ohio too.
