14 Happy Happy here. Last night we got some much needed rain. I haven't checked the gauge yet, but the was almost an inch when we came home from a very wet outdoor party. About a half an hour later, it came down down heavy for another 3 hours.
The yard guy put down grub killer Thursday and I would need to water it in if we didn't get anything in 48 hours. Watering is a full day job for me, so now I'm good for at least 2 weeks!!

Good morning horde. I'm sad. For a long time I've been able to post Sunday Morning Praise and Worship songs each week. This will probably be my last opportunity to do that, since after next week I will have to be at church too early in the morning to be able to catch this thread. So - with bittersweetness, I'm posting one of my very favorite Christian songs. It also happens to be the song that I will walk to down the aisle at the end of the week.

It's called "The Easter Song" by Keith Green, who was a pianist, vocalist, and evangelist who came out of the Jesus People movement during the early 70's, about the same time as Larry Norman and Randy Stonehill.

Keith was fiercely Christian and had a great love for the lost and the losers, and a great sarcastic disdain for "religionists" and "christians in name only church-ers." Very much a rebel. He founded Last Day Ministries, which his wife still runs today, as Keith was killed in 1982 in a plane crash at the age of 29, along with two of his very small children.
