Not to be confused with Mo Somebody, I guess.

We'll see. People reporting that Sky News is big on right-wing theory. Shep is wetting himself on same theory and jack-boots, which seem to excite him very much.

And twitter scrubbed of a moose limb sounding name, Selina Akim, with a photo of a lovely lass, telling folks to come to McDonalds at 4pm. Scrubbed, and only one record of her twittering was this...about four twits.

Meanwhile, on Brietbart, there are photos of two non-German looking twits in their underwear, handcuffed and doing the perp walk. These photos appeared about 11 min after Merkel spokesperson said "not a terror threat" or similar. Perfect timing.

Video of a non-looking German on cell, in front of door at McDonald's, then opens fire. Have no idea, as he was outside and Muslim lady who said another was inside (the lulu snackbar report).

Israeli news now reporting 16 dead.

4 I got willowed in the morning thread:

I skipped mowing the lawn last weekend because it was too damn hot. I just checked the weather and the temperature is already as high as last weekend and will go even higher. The heat index is already 94 and is predicted to go to 100 or more today. I haven't even had breakfast yet.

I heard on the radio yesterday that the whole country is under a "heat dome" as they called it, except for Washington and Alaska.

It will be well into the 90s by the time I get around to making and eating breakfast, and odds are I will just say fuckit and crack open a beer. If there's anything I can't tolerate, it's heat and humidity.

8 I looked at AccuWeather.com again. It's 89 and predicted to go to 97. I can't even keep up with how fast the temperature is climbing.

It said, "Virtually no relief in store for Eastern U.S. into end of July". Guess that means I'm not cutting my grass until August.

I don't have centre air - a few window units. I shut them off last night, and woke up sweating like Justin Bieber at a spelling bee.

What's got me worried, are the water temps in the Gulf and Atlantic.

Local weather guy said it bodes badly for us if there's even a strong tropical storm, as the extremely warm water could ramp a storm into a strong hurricane quickly.

31 I drove all the way into town to the Super Kroger yesterday specifically to fuel my car after shopping.

It was so hot I forgot to re-fuel until the car reminded me. Now I have to go all the way back to the Kroger fuel center (I'll be able to fill up with diesel for a little over $1/gal.).

What I'd like to see more is reports of is where all the false reports of it being neo-nazis came from. There were immediate multiple reports of someone yelling anti-foreign stuff and crowds responding plus other similar reports.

The muzzies killing, well duh, the whole "scorpion: It's my nature thing" every knows this and no one there is going to do a damn thing about it ever.

But who was delivering these false reports so quickly and effectively? It seems like a sophisticated disinformation response source is being set up. Add that to the social media being used to draw more people to possible carnage and you're getting to the level of planning and terror that goes into Pali bombing campaigns in Israel. But with worldwide attack capability.

33 Annnd it's official. I just opened my first beer. I'm not setting foot outdoors today.

Maybe tomorrow I'll set my alarm and try to mow the lawn early in the morning. That was my plan for today, but it didn't pan out. I'm not used to setting the alarm on weekends and forgot.

Honestly, the day in late October or early November when I change the oil in the lawnmower and put it away for the winter is the happiest day of the year for me.

I've seen that. The little town we moved to outside Greenville, SC after my dad retired from the AF, is full of mini-mansions. I don't even recognize it. Our quaint church is now a mega-church with a private school.

We spent a weekend in downtown G'ville in a nice hotel in the river walk area a few years ago, and it was lovely. My late dad would not recognize the place. And yes, the housing prices are ridiculous.

I have all the parts on hand to fix it, but we've been too busy at work to deal with it (I've never dealt with car AC before, but some of the guys at work have, and they have the gear to do the job)

60 So I watched the Comic Con TWD trailer in the sidebar.

I don't watch the show but the reason I bring it up is the Ash vs Evil trailer for Comic Con was "banned" due to excessive gore which has to be BS because there's just as much gore in the TWD trailer. That and Ash vs Evil is obviously comic-gore if that's a term and TWD is probably supposed to be more realistic.

Anyway, I'm stoked for season 2 of AvE and I hear they're going to incorporate some elements from Army of Darkness.

I think something happens once they get into power. They no longer see themselves as responsible to those who elected them; they are now responsible to powerful, agendized people outside government whose interests may or may not coincide with those mere voters. It also leads to conversations not with mere voters but with reporters who also talk mostly to other powerful, agendized people.

Consider those EU and anti-Brexit UK politicians who said dazedly, "We should have paid attention to immigration." They truly had no idea.

Er, not exactly. The UK's Labor party intentionally increased immigration ~10 years ago to intentionally water down the conservative vote, to "rub their noses" in it. They knew what they were doing, they just never imagined these citizens would strike back.

It depends on whether the sun is shining on it. I have a thermometer outside my kitchen window. The sun shines on it in the morning, and I've seen it hit 90 on absolutely gorgeous April mornings when the real temperature was in the 60s.

*goes downstairs to look*

It was close to 110 earlier, and right now shows 98, and the sun is no longer shining on it, so it is slowly adjusting to the real temperature. AccuWeather.com says it's 93 right now. Either way, I have no intention of going outside to find out.
