EMT 7/23/16 Windy City Edition [krakatoa]

Halfway through my Chicago trip. Not as bullety as I'd feared, so that's good.

The nice thing about my schedule here is I'm eating just one meal a day, so the intermittent fast thing is in play. Taking an extended meal from 6ish to 8ish every night. Plus I'm walking around 3 miles per day.

Although tomorrow morning I may need to have some pancakes. More than likely I'll just sleep though.

Will be interesting to see what the weight is when I get back home.

1 Good Morning Morons. Today is Saturday, July 23, 2016. On this day in 1903 the Ford Motor Company sold its first car. As of 2008 they had produced 5,532,000 cars.

6 Scankles picks Kain as her VP candidate. It will do her no harm.

Hillary Clinton on Friday announced Virginia Sen. Timothy Kaine as her running mate, going with an experienced politician seen as a strong centrist who could attract independents and possibly disenchanted Republicans and most certainly the safe pick.

He is only seen as a "centrist" by people who are to the left of Mao and Stalin and the MFM. (BIRM) There is no such thing anymore of a "moderate" Democrat. And "disenchanted" Republicans will not vote for her, at best they will either not vote the President ticket or sit at home.

12 Dinesh D'Souza is releasing his film about the Democrat Party and Scankles. He pulls no punches in telling it like it is.

Hillary has no vision for America, he said. Her only vision for America is that she wants to be the mob boss of America. She wants to be the female Godfather, the greatest thing since Al Capone. And she wants all the benefits that Al Capone got in Chicago; he liked to run the city; he liked to knock off his opponents.

This is the cult of Hillary and this is what she wants. She wants to basically be the one who runs our life and calls all the shots and snubs out her opponent. I, for one, am not going to stand for it and I'm hoping most Americans won't either.

68 If you avoid the wrong parts of town, Chicago is fairly safe. You can say that about most such cities. The gunfire is usually most concentrated int he parts of town most shaped by the Great Society programs. Funny coincidence, huh?

I remember many years ago someone created a map that shaded sections of Los Angeles County by violent crime frequency. The stunning realization was that a remarkably small area was effectively a war zone. Dropping a single MOAB in the center of that area would have dramatically improved the crime rates used to label the whole county.

You can produce a map with similar results for any place with high crime. The bulk of it comes from a small section of the whole.

79 33 Hillary has no vision for America, he said.
______________________

Hillary has a vision.

It involves lots and lots and lots of spending. Of money we don't have, of course. That's Dims' favorite kind of spending.

She plans "free college!" for everyone. And she also wants another "infrastructure" spending boondoggle -- for all those "shovel ready" jobs that we spent on in Obama's 2009 trillion-dollar "stimulus" that turned out to be not so "shovel ready" after all. (But the money was spent anyway, and now we need to spend more money!).

Hillary also plans to use executive orders to grant even more
unconstitutional amnesties to even more illegal aliens (who will no doubt sign up for all the new "free" stuff Hillary is planning).

And Hillary also wants to increase the number of muzzie "refugees" being imported into the U.S. and plopped onto U.S. welfare rolls (while they plan their next mass murders).

And Hillary is also going to expand Title IX to force more colleges and universities to engage in more kangaroo-court prosecutions of innocent college men for the "epidemic" of campus rapes that are not actually happening, but which histrionic SJW's like to carry on about as if they were.

If that's not a vision, I don't know what is!

There is software that makes creating the map fairly simple. One such package was used for the first such map I saw of Los Angeles. It was purchased by the LAPD to figure out how best to distribute manpower and I've no doubt they still use a version today, along with every other large PD in the country. 150 The ozone hole is a natural phenomenon. Ozone is caused by UV light from the sun. During the Winter very little light reaches the Arctic and Antarctic. Ozone is volatile and goes away unless it is replenished. The ozone hole over the Antarctic is larger than the one over the Arctic because the Earth is farther away from the Sun during the Antarctic winter; making the UV even weaker then.

If Freon were causing the ozone hole the Northern hole would be larger since it is closer to the sources of Freon - which is predominantly in the Northern hemisphere. The ozone hole - Freon scam is just more Communist propaganda lies.

This is politics. There is no hole so deep that a politician won't go into it. This feud got personal and neither wants to end it.

If the situation was reversed, it would not stop me from crawling over broken glass and through machine gun fire to vote for Cruz if he was nominee.

Ted Cruz could have omitted the "vote your conscious" line from his speech and if anyone says that Cruz doesn't know that is the tagline of the neverTrumpers, they are lying.

It's a feud and worse it's a political feud. I'm standing down from it. My only goal is for another clinton to walk away a loser on Nov 9.

Not what who said what about whom. Yesterday.

153 This is politics.
.........
Bullshit.. it is most certainly NOT politics. He beat Cruz.. months ago.. Cruz is history.. poses no threat..

This is the ravings of a petty little man who cannot let something go..

God help us Putin doesn't make some snide remark about Trump's hair or something..

154 Bubba would have had to screw Scankles to give her VD. He hasn't done that in a long time. Their marriage has been a political sham for decades.

--------------
Dennis Miller had a great line to the effect of ' their marriage is so much about convienence that there should be a Slim Jim dispencer on the nightstand'.

Jeesh, it's too early to have to spell every thing out. The federal court can and do issue rulings regarding due process, i.e., you have a right under the federal constitution to have the state laws applied equally and fairly to you. The parole board granted her parole. If the CSC doesnt reverse the gov decision, the def will go to the federal courts who may order the CSC to reverse it, thereby resulting in her release. As I already said, it has been done before.

The same.. but being in denial about the asshole at the top of our ticket ain't gonna help that one way or another.

161 95 90 At best, disenchanted Republicans will smile and
vote Trump/Pence. I 'm too nice to suggest what would be next best
thing they could do.

My "at best" was referring to the Democrats. I don't want to stir up another flame war over "sitting it out".

Posted by: Vic We Have No Party

Yes, it will be interesting if the answer ever comes out as to what course most took.

To quote Maddog "Trumps an asshole"

Ok

What's for lunch?

163 144 14 days to Weddingpalooza. The bridal shop will let me trade the dress for a smaller size, so the binge eating marathon is canceled. Lesson: Never buy form-fitting clothing in the dead of win

Hey, not so fast there skinny. Does your fiancée like to sleep on a full stomach? It's his day too ya know.

Just kidding, have a wonderful wedding and beyond.

164 do they have depends in her size?

Depends comes in S, M, L, XL, 2XL, 3XL and Beached Whale sizes. I'm fairly sure the latter would fit.

165 Describing the Democratic Candidate by saying she has Cankles is inaccurate - I think Thankles is closer to the truth.

Since most of you are unfamiliar with that term, I'll use it in a sentence: "When she tried to put them on her Depends got caught in her Thankles."

167 Chicago's not so bad if you know where not to stray. I recently have been traversing the Loop (alone) from about 9:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. There are more residential areas/hotels downtown now so there's more street activity. In the winter it would probably be scarier. Still, I am on full alert, walk briskly, and switch sides of the street at random - easy enough when there's light traffic.

I'd buy ya a drink, krak, if you were in my neighborhood.
