In any way. Whether it is banning BadThought, or taking a hit in share price. Whatever it takes. Of course, I posit that the bigs have insulated themselves from most of the downside, as their own actions have consequences and they know what they are. IF Trump wins, expect a "re-evaluation" of policy at Facebook, reddit, etc. Expect Twitter to sell, and new management to institute a (temporarily) balanced free speech policy. If these mass shootings in public places continue, expect a fast and nasty cascade of restaurants and retailers folding. They don't have the margins or the capitalization to hang in there. So why don't all conservatives just tweet something abusive at @jack and let him start banning his subscriber base. Once some of the leading conservatives fall off the other "followers" will self-ban. This targeted banning of one or two conservatives endears him to the liberal crowd and is good for business, if he has to start wholesale banning large segments of his active users he shoots himself in the foot. No?

Someone linked to a story by AP - Lee, their State Dept. reporter (who is good - actually a real reporter, in the old sense many thought/hoped they actually existed).
The quotes he runs from the predictable folks are utterly predictable, and yet utterly delusional. NATO has been a massive inertial mindset and collection of iron rice bowls looking for a purpose since 1991. It has been irrelevant to every important undertaking since then - when not actually a hindrance (and in each case where NATO members pitched in, the NATO structure was not relevant or needed). In any case, the US - under the current band of idiots, an operation many here actually claim to intend to support for a 4-year lease extension - has ostentatiously screwed the best (i.e. most actually pro-US) NATO members repeatedly. Most amazingly in the case of the Poles and Czechs WRT missile defense. But not to worry, useless inertial status quo sorts, no new president is going to actually be able to effect much change in anything connected to NATO. Hey, Ace. I am just a humble reader and appreciate the daily invite, but I am hoping you will hear me out. I realize that you and Maet are probably friends and probably do blow off the same tranny hooker's ass, but he needs a slapdown regarding last night's YokoOnoPalooza. Did you see that apostasy? Do you not care for the Horde's well being? Why, Ace? Why? What forms do we need to fill out and where do we send them to keep it from happening again? Posted by: ObjectionSustained at July 22, 2016 01:50 PM (KXq1B) That was the punishment meted out over the testy Trump vs. Cruz threads yesterday. We must reap what we sow. Consider this a shot across the bow, because the next near naked pics could very well be of #TrigglyPuff. In liberal psychopathology, the "cause" of a scary event is always the thing they think they can control as compared to the thing they know did it and which can't be controlled. Its irrational. But it defends the fantasy of control that they need in order to continue to function in fairlyland. And by gawd, to a liberal, fairlyland is the only reason for living.

Seriously, the corporate elites need to stop peacocking their "virtue" and get back to just making money.
