Obama was always a symbol, and nothing more than that, really. People voted him in so they would look less racist. And then didn't much pay attention to how he was affecting their lives after that.
I suspect the dummies will continue to be dummies, and evidence will have no more impact on them than it already does.
What I am looking for is some sort of shift from voters who are not really liberal lefties, who are still traditional Democrat voters. Primarily blacks, Catholics, unions, old people.
We shall see.

You wouldn't know it from watching any of the U.S. national Spanish-language evening newscasts, but the Pew Research Center has released a survey that shows that among the country's Hispanic voters, Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump is currently polling at roughly the same levels Mitt Romney and John McCain did as the party's previous standard-bearers.
The comparable numbers are actually favorable for Trump: whereas at this same time in 2008 McCain was polling 23% and in October of 2012 Romney was polling 21%, Pew has Trump currently taking 24% of the Hispanic vote.
Even more interesting - and again ignored by national Spanish-language television networks Univision, Telemundo, Azteca America and Mega TV, is that among English-dominant Hispanic voters, Trump is pulling within striking distance, down to Clinton by only seven points, 48-41.
The survey, conducted June 15-26, also found that immigration - the issue frequently portrayed by Univision's Jorge Ramos and others as practically the be-all and end-all issue among the nation's Hispanics - lags behind the economy, terrorism and health care among these voters' most top-of-mind concerns.

In NYC, the protest will be in Times Square. The place is almost exclusive all out of towners and tourists. For those not aware, it took decades to clean it up and make it into, even in this jaded New Yorker's eyes, a fantastic place and a very important source of income, especially during the last 90 months of Recovery Summer.

My thoughts are these, people - and not just people on the right - are sick of this. Not all, but a significant (I believe) number out of the current irrelevant Right/Left construct.
I can't at all accept the notion that all of the people on the left buy into the lockstep acceptance of the notion that Obama has been a good President, especially the notion that he has done, and continues to do, no wrong. People can't be that oblivious. Not all of them.
The open breaking of ranks in the Republican party, began to really become obvious and start picking up steam, I submit, when people started to voice frustration with Bush's economic policies fueled by 'compassionate conservatism'. They saw through it.
I believe that there are many, many on the left who see through the illusion that has been constructed by the left that is Obama, and the new illusion that is Hillary.
We who have been disaffected by the Republican party should at least try to unite with the people who I feel in my heart, still love this country who are on the left and who have also been disaffected by the Democrat party.
It's a code, no doubt, but it isn't unbreakable.

Today's polling news:
The RCP average tightened a little today with a new poll entering the mix. McClatchy/Marist makes its debut today with a registered voter poll. It shows Clinton barely leading Trump 42-39. Overall Clinton still leads by an average of 4.3%
The RCP average does not include the NBC poll yet, which also showed a slight change moving from a 46-41 Clinton lead to 45-42.
It isn't looking like the FBI report is making much of a change in Clinton's numbers, just bringing them down a bit. But she is also not getting any bounce from beating Sanders.
Bottom line is we still have 18% of the voters who don't know what they will do yet. They are up for grabs by any of the candidates who can make a case for voting for them.

The unions were controlled by the gov. They could only strike if the gov gave permission and any pay raise demands had to be approved by the gov. And the left was okay with that because in reality they are quite okay with giving all power over their lives to the state. After Peron was thrown out, he returned in 1973, his first act after landing was to declare open season on leftys. Literally. Mass shootings and chaos at the airport. Leftards couldnt believe it. I'm gonna have to google them, but having worked floor security for a couple NCAA Gymnastics events last year I thought the same thing. These are not svelte little waifs out there. They have muscles upon muscles, and under the pretty singlet almost all their joints are held in place by ace wrap and bandages, and their toes look like they've been beat with a hammer.

I know gymnastics makes one muscular, but the Olympic crew this year
look like they're using steroids. I don't recall this being an issue in
the past.
Have they dramatically changed the way gymnastics is trained?

You are looking at the top gymnasts in the world - did it ever occur to you that if you look at the best basketball players that they will tend to look tall, or that if you look at the best shot putters that none of them will look like Olympic gymnasts?If you are a genetic freak at the end of the bell shaped curve - which all world class athletes are - you don't look like a normal human being.

Its not the training its the steroids.
As a USAPL competitor, I know a little about this stuff, though I have not used myself. Generally women use the compounds that have anabolic (muscle growth) effects with minimal androgenic (masculinizing) effects and will stack them with IGF-1, Insulin, HGH ect. If guys just do that then they will get limp dick b/c their natural test levels drop and they have no androgenic hormones to pick up the slack.
However the Olympic and professional level athletes are using stuff that gym rats don't have access to. They are still analogs of the standard steroids you have probably heard of ten, anavar, primo, dianabol, winstrol, ect. but they are designer compounds that *generally* have different esters attached to them that the drug testing committee hasn't developed reliable tests against. Its more complicated than that, but I am simplifying a great deal.

If you lresearch anything about Obama's mother you will find that that is literal not figurative. One reason people think his father is another communist-black-man (Davies?),
They did a MF joke like this in the movie Garden State. Marvelous movie but had weak ending. Zach Braff and Peter Sarsgaard had good chemistry in a complex friendship. The dead mother came across well. The father as a flawed man doing his best in a no-win situation. Natalie Portman played an excellent flake. Also it had a literal raise-hands-if-you-saw-titties scene and complex self delusions and efficient scamming. Depicted present day New Jersey in the best light possible.
