Loretta Lynch Vows She'll Accept the Verdict of the FBI (and Her Own Team of Handpicked Prosecutors)
Later today, Loretta Lynch will reportedly announce that she's taking herself out of the decision-making loop on the Hillary Clinton Indictment, due to her clandestine meeting with Bill Clinton.
It is being reported she'll accept the guidance of the FBI, and her prosecutors. Jazz Shaw makes a great point-- the media is reporting this as if she vowed to accept the FBI's word. No, she hasn't. She's talking about an amorphous blob of people, both the FBI and her own senior employees, and that means she gets to decide who makes the cut on her list of "senior prosecutors," and she can decide what weight to give each person's vote. In other words, she's retaining all power in her own hands -- she's just trying to pretend she's taking herself out of the decision. That, like everything else this Fun Bunch claims, is a damnable lie. Meanwhile, evidence has surfaced that everyone involved in this sordid meeting knew just how inappropriate it was. Not only did Bill Clinton and Loretta Lynch keep it secret until a reporter asked her about it, but FBI agents were forbidding US citizens from taking pictures of the secret meeting. For what reason? On what authority? Marc Thiessen just noted on FoxNews that this must be the first meeting with a president which has ever happened where the person meeting with the president didn't take a selfie and post it on Twitter. Why was that, do you think? Do you think they just wanted to keep their discussion of grandchildren and golf private?Comments

I saw the report yesterday about the FEC whatever's Democrat members all voting in lockstep to fine Fox news for "supporting the campaigns of Republican candidates" in which Fox allowed all seventeen of the republican candidates debates in a two tier format.
Never mind that other networks also did the same thing, I believe it was CNN and possibly MSNBC.
But the Democrats singled out Fox for a fine. The three Republicans on the committee have said this was pure political payback by the Democrats.
We need more regulatory agencies staffed by political parties.

BUT! What IF this was, in fact, simply a "courtesy call", if you will.? What I mean is simply the sitting POTUS telling a past POTUS what is going to go down, ahead of time, out of respect, so that he doesn't have to hear about it first in the newspaper, or from some flunky. It might be significant that it was in person, and that Obama sent his flunky instead of doing it himself (which I presume would mean Clinton visiting the WH, not some "tarmac meeting").

Lynch is a cutout between Obama and Bill Clinton. This keeps Obama's fingerprints off of everything, but Lynch won't/can't do anything but what Obama tells her, however vaguely it maybe worded.
Everyone should be familiar enough with Obama's speech patterns to understand how this is going to work, under the right circumstances.

For over a month, Hillary has resisted coming in to the FBI to have a cup of coffee with Comey, which would normally be the last step before the FBI completed its investigation.
Lynch's meeting with Bill wasn't an accident.
Known Unknowns:
What was the purpose of the meeting? My bet was that it was to deliver a real message, the kind you can't deliver in an e-mail or even a phone call: Lynch was telling Bill that an FBI criminal referral is coming, because Comey won't wait on Hillary's having a cup of coffee any longer. This will hit soon, and certainly before the D's convention.
Local reporter says he was tipped. Who was it? My bet is that it was the Obamans. It's part of their creating a narrative that they had nothing to do with Hillary's Downfall.
If you think the fix has always been in to benefit the Clintons, then it makes no sense to have had this meeting, and even less sense for either the Obamans or Clintons to tip off a reporter about it.
What's next? Obama campaigns with Hillary this Tuesday in NC, and with Biden later in the week in Scranton. Watch the body language.

Additionally, I think this is another reason for the length of the investigation...prosecutors biding for time by forcing the investigative agents to jump through all kinds of hoops. But, Comey has more control over the investigative aspect of the case as opposed to the to evaluation of evidence.
I think the whole Bill Clinton visit was nothing more than self-interest on his behalf. He would, rightly, conclude that if she agreed to meet with him, then he is not under investigation personally. That's all he wanted to know.

Lynch is backtracking from this morning's NYT story to say that she's reserving a modicum of authority over the decision. She has to keep this authority as the ultimate head prosecutor. Despite the lede above, she can't actually exercise that authority. If she does, it'll all go nuclear.

We found out because an enterprising news guy got a tip from someone at the airport. We were not meant to find out. Who knows how many other little meetings like this have taken place?
Things are being negotiated. Lynch is the go - between for Obama. She is too dull-witted to be doing this on her own.
I have no idea what is really being negotiated, but I would also hazard a guess that what somebody said above is true, that Bill is trying to save the Clinton Fund from being investigated, which would bring down a world of hurt on him, personally.
Obama is also on the hook here, because there is ample evidence that he knew that Hillary Clinton was using her private server for government business. He has already perjured himself on this issue, if his public statements were entered as evidence in a real trial, and he was made to testify.
This will all be dismissed very soon, because the fallout from indicting Hillary Clinton is just too dangerous for too many people. The idea the people in the FBI will "fall on their swords" and resign is ludicrous. Maybe one or two.

I've always been in the minority camp that the Obamans have been setting the Clintons up for a big fall.
If the fix was in, the investigation would have played differently. And Hillary would already have had her cup of coffee with Comey. And Bill would have had no need to meet secretly with Lynch.
But Obama can't be seen as having brought this down on the Clintons. Hence the need for head fakes.

First, they stayed married because they are each other's beards - they get the extra publicity out of being an awesome power couple while still getting their freak on. They have not lived together since Hills moved out of the WH early. If they were single then the gossip media would have a reason to cover their extracurricular activities.
Second, the Clinton Foundation makes the big money selling influenece. Sure, Bill could make a nice living doing the globe-trotting former POTUS who attends various Davos events, gives speeches. However, he's greedy. Having Hillary there to provide a much bigger service that a lofty speech about AIDS in Africa is worth it. Especially since it can happen while they live separate lives.

Regardless of what one thinks of it, the United States government has no business saying what anyone can or can't do outside of this country (unless it involves waging war against us). American citizens can go to foreign countries and do anything they want. It's up to that foreign country to stop it. The only legitimate role the US government has in this is possibly serving the person up for extradition if that country requests it for whatever crime they claim (and even that has to be very carefully considered).
This bullshit about the US government having control over what US citizens do outside of the US is nothing but total bullshit. American citizens are not property of the government.

I believe - being too lazy to look it up - that the singing of the anthem began in WWII as a way to boost morale. Frankly, I wish they wouldn't sing it before every sporting event; IMO, it cheapens the song.
And who the fuck is "forcing" that mincing pantywaist to sing, anyway? Is there somebody behind him with a gun to his head? Because I've watched a lot of sporting events over the years, and I've seen plenty of people who stand there as the anthem is being sung, not singing along.

The case law on this type of behavior is long and very explicit. There are people in jail or qualified as felons for less.
The only reason they are upset is because this highlights the subterfuge being performed to elect a political candidate. Before this they could all just throw up their hands and make excuses as to why there was no case. The average Joe would never understand the nuance of case law.
But people understand this type of corruption and impropriety. The most uninterested dope gets the visual and ever further sees they are trying to manipulate law and process. There are no winners for Democrats without an indictment now. Just the specter of corruption and subversive behaviors from people who are arrogant and believe the are above the law.
Yeah, that behavior most Americans are going to be voting against this fall.

That's always been this most likely scenario, and the orchestrated Clinton/Lynch tarmac "oopsie" somehow is supposed to mitigate it. I don't see how but it's the only thing that makes sense for such behavior from the ruthlessly corrupt. A less likely scenario is the resignation of Comey or someone close to the investigation and the press conference from hell or heaven, depending on someone's perspective.
Trump needs to announce he is seeking legal counsel on how he will set aside any presidential pardon of Clinton, even if it is absolute bullshit.

For over a month, Hillary has resisted coming in to the FBI to have a cup of coffee with Comey, which would normally be the last step before the FBI completed its investigation.
Lynch's meeting with Bill wasn't an accident.
Known Unknowns:
What was the purpose of the meeting? My bet was that it was to deliver a real message, the kind you can't deliver in an e-mail or even a phone call: Lynch was telling Bill that an FBI criminal referral is coming, because Comey won't wait on Hillary's having a cup of coffee any longer. This will hit soon, and certainly before the D's convention.
Local reporter says he was tipped. Who was it? My bet is that it was the Obamans. It's part of their creating a narrative that they had nothing to do with Hillary's Downfall.
If you think the fix has always been in to benefit the Clintons, then it makes no sense to have had this meeting, and even less sense for either the Obamans or Clintons to tip off a reporter about it.
What's next? Obama campaigns with Hillary this Tuesday in NC, and with Biden later in the week in Scranton. Watch the body language.

The problem with this case is, it is obvious and clear that she committed crimes. There is no question about it.
The only questions are how many crimes and the classification of these crimes.
Say accidental vs. Aldridge Ames espionage. Etc.
For them to do nothing means everyone of them, from top to bottom, needs to be investigated and prosecuted by Trump's DOJ.

I disagree.
Odumbass is gonna campaign with her. Odumbass' State Dept. says they can't release emails for 27 months (even though he'll be gone in 7?). Odumbass' people are trying to block Judicial Watch's efforts. Odumbass' FBI has had plenty of time to make a criminal referral.
This little meetup IMHO was to just say "hey, we're cool. Relax."

I think it's possible a Hillory win results in the Democrat Party being stripped of all its coverings, to the point of everything that Obama was able to hide behind, because people want to Affirmative Action his ass, being denied to Hillory.
Partly because Hillory is as rotten a human being, inside and out, as anybody, and she can't hide it. Partly because the Democrats who clap for Affirmative Action Obama do so out of their racist nature. These same people are not, by nature, sexist. So she gets no cover for her ugliness the way he does.
With that, the Democrat Party coalition collapses just as they think they are celebrating their victory.

This isn't going away in the usual manner. Yes, they are trying to bury it on a Friday before a long holiday weekend--the last before the convention, but while I've never thought Hillary would be prosecuted it's been long apparent that won't be avoided without a great deal of pain. This is going to get worse for her.
To be precise, the idea is she takes a poll hit prior to a convention bounce. Again, this is conventional thinking. Hillary actually broke the law here and committed many serious felonies, and when Lynch announces there will not be an indictment the damage and blowback will be severe.
My caveat: this may be a prelude to Hillary copping a plea to a misdemeanor between the convention and Labor Day, with the thought she can survive it. Even as godawful as the country has become, this is crippling in ways typical political people can't fathom. The pathetic part is the country is so godawful it was thought to be possible.

That's why Lynch met with Bill. Hillary is meeting with the FBI tomorrow. Those interviews aren't scheduled in a matter of days. Its probably been scheduled for a while now.
Now -- my cynical nature thinks that Lynch was telling Bill what exactly the FBI interviewers have on Hillary, so that she can prepare for the interview.
