Judicial Watch: Law Enforcement Sources Tell Us a Gun Used in the Paris Massacre Came from Phoenix, Home of Obama's Fast and Furious Program

Now, you have to be careful with how they phrase things here.

They don't say the gun came from the Fast and Furious program -- just that it came from the area where the Fast and Furious program was in operation.

However, Judicial Watch alleges the government behaved strangely to cover up this gun's provenance.

Which is mighty suspicious.

This isn't a fact, just a possibility. At least at this point.

I'm sure the media will get right on this.

One of the guns used in the November 13, 2015 Paris terrorist attacks came from Phoenix, Arizona where the Obama administration allowed criminals to buy thousands of weapons illegally in a deadly and futile “gun-walking” operation known as “Fast and Furious.”

A Report of Investigation (ROI) filed by a case agent in the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco Firearms and Explosives (ATF) tracked the gun used in the Paris attacks to a Phoenix gun owner who sold it illegally, “off book,” Judicial Watch’s law enforcement sources confirm. Federal agents tracing the firearm also found the Phoenix gun owner to be in possession of an unregistered fully automatic weapon, according to law enforcement officials with firsthand knowledge of the investigation.

The investigative follow up of the Paris weapon consisted of tracking a paper trail using a 4473 form, which documents a gun’s ownership history by, among other things, using serial numbers. The Phoenix gun owner that the weapon was traced back to was found to have at least two federal firearms violations—for selling one weapon illegally and possessing an unregistered automatic—but no enforcement or prosecutorial action was taken against the individual. Instead, ATF leaders went out of their way to keep the information under the radar and ensure that the gun owner’s identity was “kept quiet,” according to law enforcement sources involved with the case. “Agents were told, in the process of taking the fully auto, not to anger the seller to prevent him from going public,” a veteran law enforcement official told Judicial Watch.

57 IF, for example, the US Federal government expedited certain shipments and were light on inspections, one could conceivably imagine guns moving quickly and easily from the Americas to Europe. So as to make them go away from news coverage, for example.

Or even if it was just that Fast & Furious was much bigger than we understood, allegedly tracking 'worldwide' distribution.

Or, to be even more conspiratorial, this was part of where the 6 billion in black ops money went from the State Department, to arm certain groups the Obama administration wanted to see succeed.

There's zero reason to not pick up an AK from one of those shitbox countries and just walk it across the borders to end up in Paris. Why would anyone want a semi-auto from the US that had to cross oceans to get there?

Nothing in this adds up. Even getting a F et F gun from a drug smuggling ring would have to cost it's weight in drugs to smuggle.

Posted by: Chupacabra at June 30, 2016 03:00 PM (CGjum)

83 The Phoenix gun owner that the weapon was traced back to was found to have at least two federal firearms violations -for selling one weapon illegally and possessing an unregistered automatic -but no enforcement or prosecutorial action was taken against the individual. Instead, ATF leaders went out of their way to keep the information under the radar and ensure that the gun owner's identity was "kept quiet,"

Still confusing in terms of which came first; the investigation into the terrorist firearm or the owner getting caught with the automatic and off book sale.

The way it's written makes it sound like PerpA was caught with the violations a while ago, and then let go. Then the ATF investigated the firearms used in the Paris attack which lead back to PerpA.

That reading does make it sound like the admin let him go in order to induce more violations or act as an informant.

The GOPe only needs to shove things like this in the face of the Left; if administrations like Oblamo's aren't going to prosecute firearms violations, there is zero reason to pass more laws.

111 The majority of the Fast and Furious arms went to Mexico. Where they ended up in narcotraficante hands.

Somehow one of the weapons ended up in France. In jihadi hands.

One way to illuminate that apparent conundrum is to posit that there is regular traffic of jihadis back and forth from Europe to Mexico, and active collaboration between narcotraficante elements and jihadis.

Unsettling corollary conclusions spring from this line of reasoning.

173 Totally OT:

I've always been good at gegraphy, but I surprised even myself by just taking a 'blank map test" of Africa and getting 40 country-locations exactly right, which account for about 95% of the land-mass. The ones I "got wrong" were all the dinky little countries on the northwest coast where (as is almost impossible not to) I got some of them jumbled up and switched the names around. There were only four nations in the whole continent whose names I couldn't remember, all of which are tiny and obscure.

You can try it yourself by going to http://www.freeusandworldmaps.com/ images/World_Regions_Print/Africa_WorldRegionsNoText.jpg (remove space) and filling in the names WITHOUT referring to a labelled map.

It's actually a pretty fun and interesting self administered quiz.

Why dick with a US semi-auto half way around the world when you can pick up a full auto for $50.00 in Northern Africa?

181 I totally believe Loretta when she says she and Bill didn't discuss the FBI's criminal investigation of Hillary

I'm somewhat inclinded to think they were discussing (in a vague and oblique way) what information the Clinton's have that would be so damaging to Obama that he doesn't want it made public.

Which would make that information so damaging that the Clinton's can't use it except in a Mutually Assured Destruction scenario.

Of course, that could be a con and the Clinton's don't really have anything, but Obama believes they do because he knows what is in his background.

It's easier to send shit from south of our border around the world than from our own shores. Allegedly.

Which will be run by Barack and Michelle after Clinton 's successful election, or by Bill and Hill, while Barack golfs if Hillary fails.

ATF puts it in a shipping container for a Paris-bound flight from Sky Harbor, PHX. It arrives in Paris, and muzzies working at the Paris airport, previously tipped off, divert the package from the normal inspection routine. Easy-peasy.

209 "ATF leaders went out of their way to keep the information under the

I'm guessing the name starts with, um, M-o-h. You know the rest.

So, at the very least, we have jihadi organizations with the ability to move big guns across the USA, with supposedly strict gun laws, and across the ocean to other jihadis who receive them in secret and hide them until they launch their attack.

How many more guns are out there? How many RPGs?

We're doomed.

211 At least they didn't say "botched."

I don't know if we'll ever find the actual trail of where this weapon went after they "lost" track of it, but "Fast and Furious" was far from their only dirty deal. The ATF moved illegal guns into Chicago as part of Operation Gangwalker (I think that name is unofficial but you can find some detail on it searching for that name).

They also had operations in Florida, and Honduras, and State Department was implicated in Honduras (which has been a burr in Obama's saddle since they kicked out his Marxist buddy for trying to stage a coup). There is strong evidence that weapons were moved to "militant" groups in Libya and we don't really know where those weapons came from.

We also have known "CIA" weapons loose in Syria, and we don't know where they came from. It would be easy for the CIA to obtain a pallet of AKs from ATF and fly them somewhere rather than buy them cheaper from overseas sources.

Basically, the thing that really terrifies me is that our government *is not* the worst in the world, by a long shot, and yet this is what they get up to (and lie to us about).

It's nice that the MFM wants to play along and lie with them, though. Good Little Soldiers, they are.

213 For the hundredth time, I am not buying this. Every organized crime outfit west of Luxembourg and south of Vienna has warehouses of ex Warsaw Pact small arms. The former war zones in the Balkans. Syria, though they tend to import, not export. Libya's warehouses, remember he used to supply the IRA and many of the European Communist groups like the Baader Meinhofs.

Sending American commercial market semiauto knockoffs to Europe is like shipping coal into West Virginia.

In other words, will buy it when I see pics and paperwork.

Oh hell yeah - just imagine what a stink the gun grabbers will make out of this! A REAL assault weapon used in international terror murdering, and procured right here in the gun-violence-addicted USA!! OMG! - the media will be going crazy!

Oh wait... they aren't saying anything? WTF?! That is sure strange isn't it? Right strange. Almost like the perfect story about evil USA and evil guns, but there must be some kind of "poison pill" in it that makes the gun grabbers not want to touch it. Wonder what it is? Surely their zeal to save human life from guns couldn't be nullified by politics could it? Say it ain't so!
