1 Good Morning Morons. Today is Sunday, June 26, 2016. On this day in 1945 the United Nations Charter was signed in San Francisco. This was the brain child of FDR and his regime filled with Soviet communists. It has been one of the biggest foreign policy mistakes the US has ever made. From what I have seen the UN has never did this country any good and has cost us literally trillions of dollars.

4 A Broadway show is donating seats for their show to the Clinton campaign so she can sell tickets for an ungodly price. At what point does this kind of shit become an illegal contribution? Selling a ticket to a Broadway show that you got free for $10,000 seems to me like a dodge around the laws. And selling two tickets with frills for $100,000 is even worse. Trump should file a complaint with the FEC.

8 And speaking of censorship, check out this outrageous action by an Obamanite scrunt thug in Idaho.

The Obama-appointed U.S. attorney for Idaho has taken the highly unusual step of intervening in a local criminal case involving an alleged sexual assault by juvenile Muslim migrants and threatened the community and media with federal prosecution if they "spread false information or inflammatory statements about the perpetrators."

Obama is not happy with getting hit because his imported thugs are caught behaving thuggishly.

As for prosecuting someone for "inflammatory statements" that is purely illegal and unconstitutional and the "false information" is a civil matter, not criminal. This is lawfare pure and simple.

9 Four Eastern blue States are jumping on the huge road tax increase called "tax by the mile". After being thwarted in more and more gas tax increases they are looking for even sneakier ways to raise the taxes. Note that NONE of these States who have said they want to "change" the way road taxes are collected are actually "changing. They still collect the gas tax and just add the mileage tax on top of it. Their excuse is better gas mileage and fewer miles driven and roads upkeep. Why is there no MFM giving the real reason for all their so-called shortage of funds for roads? And that is diverting road taxes to busses and other mass transit and worthless passenger trains, as well as worthless inner city boondoggles. (And that doesn't count actual corruption).

30 I know several people who just went to the Trump meeting with the religious leaders. Yesterday one of those people sent me the below link where James Dobson talks about how Trump just recently accepted Christ as his Savior.

The people at the meeting were struck by a couple of things. One - Trump's demeanor was very humble and relaxed. Very Presidential. (This came from the woman who had compared him to Hitler and Pol Pot the week before). The second thing was his emphasis that if we elect him, he'll put good judges in place to get the things we want. Here he mentioned overturning the unlawful Johnson Amendment restricting freedom of speech from the pulpit. Trump basically turned the responsibility for freedom of religion back on us - pastors, get into your pulpits and preach!

As Dobson says, we need to be praying for Trump. He really seems to have a great respect for the leaders who were surrounding him at this meeting (like Dobson and Graham). I think he's trying.

Yeah that happened here for the last referendum for a bond and tax increase. They held the first vote during a normal election with normal turnout. It was voted down overwhelmingly. They came back a few months later and held a "special election" during the middle of the week with no advertisement and gave county workers the day off to vote.

Then they had the nerve to brag about it passing with a 2/3 majority margin. It passed 600 votes to 200 in a county with 70,000 people.

You can not assume that most people will back you.

Any possibility of return is very, very delicate.

Any idea that one can "overcome" by speaking "truth to power" and uprising masses against some fabled elite is an idea that increasingly is less and less likely to win.

I've been watching a series called Inspector Rex about a Vienna cop and and his police dog. It's corny but was wildly popular and lasted for 14 seasons. Then Rex became Commissario Rex and worked for the Rome police department. They even had spin offs in Kiev, Munich, Lodz, and somewhere in the Baltics.

I think that beyond pointing out the anti-liberty sentiments that seem to be growing out there, Brexit did a couple of other things:

It exposed that the elite in this country are spread across the political spectrum and many have managed to stay fairly well hidden within the Republican party, and:

When they don't get their way, they won't let a little thing like democratic process stand in their way of getting what they want.*

*The IN side in Britain, have raised over a million and a half signatures to try to get a new referendum. Just like the #neverTrump side is trying to do over here. They evidently think it is alright to keep having elections until they get the result they want.

The problem is this: most of them are hardcore London Labour Remainers, and much of the 'traditional' Labour electorate just gave the Remainers the finger in the referendum.

My guess is that Corbyn's political spidey-sense left him trying not to piss off the industrial North Labour voters too much.

The Krauts had invaded France in 1871, easily enough, but the locals launched a terrorist campaign against the occupation. So when the Germans invaded Belgium and northern France in 1914, they figured that getting the mass brutality against the civilians started early was the way to head that off.

But why if Trump is so far back is Hillary spend a quarter billion dollars in June?

He's far back in that poll because it is WaPo/ABC and absolutely worthless.

How do people not learn their "unskew the polls" lesson after what happened in 2012?

The simple fact of the matter is that Trump just does not have the on-the-ground infrastructure or necessary money to run a real, legitimate campaign.

The media turning on Trump is something that many of us kept saying would happen if he won the primary. What is so hard to understand? They wanted him to be the nominee because they knew how easy it would be to destroy him and that he would be a beyond-weak general election candidate.

Posted by: beegs at June 26, 2016 10:03 AM (cxyn3)

240 It is not Trump, but the idea of Trump. He is a voice for all the pissed off people in Fly Over Country.

He speaks out against both parties and people cheer. He is what most in this country have been saying for several years to several decades.

He represents one big giant middle finger to the overlords, who hate people like us. He loves America and Americans. The ovetlords hate America and Americans.

I don't know why some people can't grasp that.

The MFM has been blasting Trump since the first day of the primaries before they even started officially. They have not "turned on him". To do that they would have had to be at least neutral and they have never been that.

As for Trump not having the ability or money to run campaign he sure did beat the living shit out of all those moneyed RNC bitches like Jeb with what he had huh. In fact, he got more votes than all the rest put together.
The facts speak for themselves, there is a Latin phrase for that somewhere. And I say this as someone who is no fan of Trump.

Trump got millions and millions of dollars in free airtime during the primary compared to his opponents. Every rally was shown, which was not the case with the others. If you can't understand that having enough money to run ads matters and having real staffers on the ground in key states matters, then GOP voters are just flat-out stupid.

The fact Trump has to campaign in TEXAS tells you just how low he's sunk. It's as if Hillary had to campaign in Connecticut.

She will have to campaign in Connecticut. Trump current actions and words indicate he is planning on winning by a landslide. Trump is actively courting Hillary voters. Trump just pissed a little on the NRA.

Speaking of gun control. Here is a out-of-context quote of the Dilbert guy.

"So it seems to me that gun control can't be solved because Democrats are using guns to kill each other ... and want it to stop ... whereas Republicans are using guns to defend against Democrats."

Uhh, it's June. The conventions haven't even happened yet.
If I remember correctly, you can't run ads until you are the official nominee. I believe Romney had $115M in the bank at his point, but it was locked up until after the convention.

So the Anti Trumpers caterwauling that Trump doesn't have money, isn't running ads, etc. is funny. Grasping at straws by the handful.

If he runs a real legitimate campaign he loses. All he has to do is make the people who count the vote afraid to not make him the winner.

Obama has a political machine in place to win.

Trump is attacking it with FUD (fear uncertainty doubt).

They should have gotten Trump to play The Shadow instead of Balwin.
