When do his actions add up to helping Iran develop nuclear weapons to use on Israel and the United States?

68 I am envious of the Brit's. June 23rd is their Independence Day.

Plus I think I'm still drunk from celebrating with them last night...

The game here has been to flood the country with immigrants who will vote for their subterfuge. They just staved off that invasion and a future oligarchy.

Only if we can get enough people out to vote against The Hag in November will the U.S. be saved.

I sincerely believe that, by the way. It is not hyperbole, we just cannot sustain the polices and oligarchy that our judiciary has become. There has been a systemic takeover of our educational institutions, public institutions, courts, a rise of the administrative state and an imperial executive. These all point to a dilution of our individual freedom and undermining of our constitutional liberties.

I suppose there are may be some good reasons not to vote Republican. But right now none of them seem to matter as the alternative is a continued tyranny of the majority. I'm not about to support that in any way, shape or form, and I am about to steamroll anyone who does.

My family matters more than your politics.

The design and plan of the 65 immigration over haul was to diminish the white majority, our immigration system changed from being geared to the first world and was reoriented towards the non-white third world.

This has been the plan all along.

Another interesting fact nugget is that massive legal immigration coincides coincides with both Bush presidencies.

Before the bushes legal immigration was well under one million per year during their miserable reigns legal immigration shot up to over a million.

We have been importing over one million people since 2001, the vast majority from Mexico, South America, Asia and Africa and virtually none from Anglosphere and first world countries.

There is absolutely no reason we need a single extra person from these shitholes other than to swamp the indigenous white population and destroy America.

At least since Reagan, the GOP took the position that the best way for people to improve their circumstances was through participation in a vibrant, growing, market-oriented economy. "A rising tide lifts all boats," in other words.

The GOP's tacit support of open borders clearly demonstrates what a lie that was.

Brexit Vote Has Huge Ramifications for U.S. Politics

    https://pjmedia.com/diaryofamadvoter/2016/06/23/brexit-vote-has-huge-ramifications-for-us-politics/

In a surprise, Leave won the Brexit referendum on whether to stay in the European Union by an equally surprising amount. British sovereignty won. David Cameron lost. Jeremy Corbyn lost. The EU lost. Bureaucrats lost. Angela Merkel lost. Barack Obama lost. Globalism lost. Authority figures almost everywhere lost. And, most of all, unlimited immigration lost.

So what happened to the vaunted British betting market that is almost invariably correct and was predicting by 80 percent a Remain victory? Or all those recent polls that were tilting Remain?

Answer: Those same elites had convinced each other they would win and therefore convinced the usual suspects--media, pollsters and, sadly, financial markets--that they were right. They were wrong. Watching them now on the BBC they still cannot comprehend what has happened. The peasants have revolted--oh no, oh no. There must be some mistake. Didn't they get the memo? The sky would fall if they left the EU.

    Earth to elites:

In referencing "Tonto" are you pointing out what happens to people who are do not resist massive immigration by people from an entirely different culture who have absolutely no intention of assimilating to the previous culture and will in addition to imposing their own culture, values and politics ruthlessly suppress any resistance to the point of extermination?

Yeah, the native Indians sounds like exactly the model that we ought to emulate in our current immigration policies.

I'm happy for the Brits, but the elites of not only Europe, but from this country as well, are going to punish them for it. Goldman, JPM, and a number of other big interests pumped a lot of money into the leave campaign. Soros all but openly threatened them.

Hopefully, Frexit and some others will follow soon and kill the EU beast. That would also help keep the UK from fracturing and might put a stop to the subliminal globalist bullshit that is going on in this country (that would come with the added benefit of shutting Ryan's annoying pie hole.)

There is a reason the UK Pound has been strong and pretty resilient. The economic fundamentals and contributors to GDP will not change very much., It's more an adjustment.

I suspect you will start to see some independent trade deals negotiated. The UK has a lot of leverage and that is in the best interests of nations who trade with them today.

The union that we originally had disappeared in 1865. The final nail in the coffin was the 1930s with FDR. Originally when the union was formed the literacy rate was near 100% and we didn't even have public schools then. There was no welfare and you had to own property to vote (which was almost the only thing taxed at the time).

Now anyone who can keep the drool off the ballot long enough to see can vote and the FSA is controlling every election. We will NEVER have the original US again.

That Kagen (or whatever his name is) is supporting Hildebeast, for me, is just more proof that the GOP had become and elitist as the Dems have. They haven't worked for us for years. We believed is was stupidity and incompetence and governmental inertia.

But they were shitting on us in favor of their elitist agenda. They're trying like hell to salvage their crumbling ivory tower and that's where all of the insane ass bullshit is coming from. That's why they are trying to undermine the process they themselves helped to create for selecting candidates - the one that blew up in their faces.

The next few months, and probably years, are not going to be boring. We are going to be punished, just like the Bresiters are. But now, at least, we've come out swinging.

The EU is actually built on the French model of governance. While there is a European Parliament, they are just window dressing with no power. In reality all decisions are made by unelected and unaccountable bureaucrats in Brussels. This is basically the same as France as is the collection of all power into a central government which treats countries as subservient administrative units which exist only to implement the decisions of the central government.

The German model of government is actually a lot lot looser confederation where the philosophy of government is that decisions should be made at the lowest level of government possible.

If the EU were operating on the German model, I doubt that Brexit would have gotten even 30% of the vote.

I don't agree with that. Neo-con means someone who tends to be socially liberal but hawkish on military intervention and free trade over all. Some may use it for antisemitism but most don't. Now I do remember people on the Right using the title (usually those who were against the Iraq invasion and the 'more rubble, less trouble' non-nation building guys.) I assumed (and this may be my own naivete) that they merely adopted the Progressive name for the guys who were proponents of the policies they disagreed with. One tell to me that the guys on the right, by and large, did not use the other red flags (references to Israel) that the progressives did.

    YMMV.

A striking thing that came out of the Brexit referendum was what it revealed about the attitudes toward sovereignty.

Europeans have a totally different attitude toward sovereignty than we do. Something that came out fairly starkly to me is the fact that some Europeans regard sovereignty as a bad thing. The relate it to what triggered the world wars. I think they've been sold that crock of dreck, and they've bought it, in the same way so many in this country have bought the BS about guns and the fact that law abiding people own them, are responsible for terrorism. This is one of those things that really make me wonder. Usually when socialists take over, the military(or military organization) is a prime part of the plan. The odd thing is that western liberals have spent so much time denigrating the military in the West, being distrustful of it, that it always made me wonder whether they were truly as coordinated in their plan to turn us into the Soviet Union as they seemed.

THAT is why the single thing that most disturbed me about Obama was when he was talking about the "Civilian Defense force" "as well funded as the military" 7 or so years ago. He was essentially looking to create his own version of the SA. That is when the mask slipped for me completely and he turned from a perhaps well meaning idiot, into something far more troubling.

One could argue that these days they have merely turned to using the bureaucratic agencies as their military arm. Less obvious.

Commodity items like oil, which run at near 100% of capacity, are very touchy about even slight changes in demand.

My understanding is that in the above system the only rights are
those granted by Government. Those rights can be changed or revoked at any time.

Along that line, I had a rather frustrating conversation with a lawyer I know the other day. He's by no means a leftist, but I could not convince him that your rights (and specifically, in this case, the right to bear arms) was independent of any government or constitution. He wouldn't accept "God-given rights," as he proclaims himself an atheist, and yet wouldn't accept that merely the fact of his existence as a sentient human gave him the right to speak freely, live freely and bear arms.

"We only have rights because the Constitution says so. If the Constitution didn't say so, we wouldn't have rights," was his basic contention.

The correlation ins't really Breixt and oil. It's the dollar and oil. Since oil is priced in dollars, a stronger dollar means cheaper oil relative to other currencies. So since the dollar is up huge vs the pound and the Euro, the price of oil is lower. That's not the entire reason but it's a big part of it.

482 CBDs...doesn't matter how many dollars a country has (and developed countries have yuuuge reserves of dollars). It's simple math. The price is in dollars. If the dollar is strong, the price is low, if the dollar is weak, the price is high. For oil producing economies like Canada, it works in reverse, where the price of oil affects its currency. When oil plummets like it did earlier this year the $CAD plummeted as well. This isn't a theoretical debate, it's finance 101.

Posted by: Monsieur Moo Moo at June 24, 2016 09:31 AM (0LHZx)

483 The correlation ins't really Breixt and oil. It's the dollar and oil. Since oil is priced in dollars, a stronger dollar means cheaper oil relative to other currencies. So since the dollar is up huge vs the pound and the Euro, the price of oil is lower. That's not the entire reason but it's a big part of it.

I figured that was what was up--it gets called the "petrodollar" for a reason. This is also why oil prices don't perfectly track demand, too--and one of the reasons the Chinese have been trying to dethrone the US dollar as the world's de facto reserve currency.
