Good morning Horde. Here are a few things that didn't make this past week's News Dump.

That's enough stupidity for the week.

Have a great weekend!!!

5 Hola Hordelings.

Watching "Ant-Man" as a bit of fun to fortify myself for a trip to the dreaded shopping mall later on.

Love Paul Rudd, and love the D List superheroes so much more than the A Listers.

7 World's oldest Twinkie turns 40

Rather than not rotting or growing mold because it's EeeEeeEvil Chemicals, its more likely that putting it in the open air simply allowed it to dry out like jerky. Dried out, it's unlikely to be a medium for mold or rot.

16 I remember the old SPY Magazine doing Twinkie stuff like leaving one dunked in a glass of water for a week, or throwing one off a high-rise, to see what, if anything, could destroy a Twinkie.

(As I recall, the one left in water eventually leaked the white stuff out of the middle but held its shape, and the one thrown off a roof was slightly mashed but not too worse for the wear.)

21 Probably my favorite prog meme of the last few days is that Brexit won because the Remain side "didn't have the right messengers" and "didn't do a good job of making their case."

It's exactly what we heard from conservative elites for years. It's not the message people are rejecting, it's the messenger.

There's a lesson in there somewhere that I may be able to suss out after another cup of coffee.

42 Seeing as Britain will be exiting the EU and ending the migrant influx into their country the other EU countries will now be the sole "beneficiary" off all of those muslims from the Middle East and Northern Africa so it really should be seen as a win for the EU.

What could possibly go wrong with unlimited migration of Muslims into Western Secular Democracies with zero efforts at assimilation of the migrants themselves?

112 I have to disagree with Vic WRT to his VNN report about the Orlando shooter and the FBI report on him. This whole story about the shooter being the Ghey was just a bit too contrived from the start. Occam's Razor, boys and girls, Occam's Razor.

It was just too convenient for the proggie d-bags to start pushing this story of the shooter being a "poor, put upon Person of Gayness who went off the deep end and HAD AN E-VIL BLACK GUN, SO BAN ALL GUNS", rather than the much simpler explanation that it was yet another blood thirsty Muslim deciding to kill a bunch of American infidels, in this case gays, all while The Dear Leader is importing thousands more Muslims to our shores.

Most likely the FBI interviewed this rump ranger and determined he was spouting BS. One thing I learned long ago is that you don't have to beat the bushes long to find some gay boy who will claim You-Name-It was gay just because, even when it was provable he had never been in the same state as You-Name-It. Seen it done...

Re Will, IIRC way back he posed a really great question or two for judicial nominees:

Q1 Can you name one article you use in everyday life that does not have some form of government regulation imposed on its production, sale, use, and/or disposal?

Q2 Can you explain why this level of government regulation is beneficial to citizens?

Sadly, the bow tie seems to have affected the oxygen flow to his brain!

I don't know if it's pro government, I haven't paid any attention to George Will in years. What I have seen though, from others of his ilk, is this almost religious adherence to the illegal immigrant notion they have.

It's like, in their minds, they've come up with this secret solution to all our woes, and it involves importing large swaths of swarthy mexicans.

I really can't make sense of it, unless this IS a racist concept, of white elites controlling brown near-slave labor, and making oodles of cash from it.
